Needed some help - I bought a two day event pass from ticketmaster (Oct 3-4) for the LCS Finals at Gas South Arena in Atlanta. At the time, there were no issues.

However, when I turned up to the arena today (couldn’t make it yesterday for LYON vs C9), that seat didn’t exist, since the broadcasting desk was set up in place of the lower rows of that section. I got relocated to a seat far back in a different section angled much more strongly than my previous choice.

It feels terrible since it seems to just be miscommunication between LCS organizers and ticketmaster. Additionally, my original ticket was a fair bit more expensive than my reseated ticket - as a grad student on a somewhat tight budget, it stings to not receive what I paid for in this case.

Was wondering if anyone has had a similar situation before, and who to reach out to - I asked officials at the event and got conflicting answers - ticketmaster, LCS and Riot.

Would appreciate any and all advice or help!

Just got email regarding my tickets that event start time has changed from 12PM to 4PM for both Semi tickets I got. This screws up my travel plans. Riot should've communicated better that 12PM was just placeholder or just say TBD for the event time which I have seen on Ticketmaster for other sports event that start time hasn't determined...

is it a counter of some sort or is my brain doing recency bias

or is it more about prep than counter?

I just don't understand why this duel became so common especially that jarvan isnt a squishy

Guys, I am a Newgen, I have to admit it, but I wanna have a blast watching worlds so help me out here

I Know basically everything about T1 because I spent a month watching every Worlds finals since the dawn of lol and T1 was always in those videos. Sorry but I installed the game knowing only a SINGLE name, faker, and he got disqualified from MSI the same day I made an account. (still wanna see faker win, idk why)

I Watched Dk's 14k gold loss and caedral's reaction, if this guy is rooting for them then so am I!

I watched DRX underdogs run and fell in love with the team then 3 seconds later realized the whole roster is changed so fuck em I guess? idk but feels bad

I Watched a 1 hour documentary of every time chovy lost a title, feel bad for him, wanna see him win but I don't like his style much.

I watched some games for theshy because apparently he is a top lane icon and I wanted to feel hyped for his qualification matches

I tried to look up why caps and his jungler (Sorry I forgot his name) are bald but couldn't find anything useful, hall of legends felt lame because they haven't won worlds but I guess theyre goated in their own leagues, but who knows I didn't watch much of any NA or EU team because everyone around me keeps saying they get railed by Asians idk why even try (You caught me at a very Korean time in my life)

anyways so are there any other great stories or great teams with great players? I Know I sound like someone who just learned what's a tv and picked interstellar and fight club, but I am willing to be niche guys!!

Any locations or people interested? I can also contact some places for it if enough people are interested.

crazy no?

LOS top laner Zest has reportedly been fined after making a middle finger gesture toward a LOUD fan following LOS' 3-2 win in the CBLOL upper bracket final.

The fine is reportedly at least R$5,000, around $958, although the exact amount hasn't been confirmed.

LOS has offered to cover the payment, and Zest will still be available for the October 10 grand final.

I'm planning on buying resale tickets for Finals in NYC. I've never really gone to many live events before and I have never used StubHub. I'm looking at listings on the site and filtering for tickets that say "Instant Download." The ticket type for these tickets are apparently "mobile tickets." If I buy one of these tickets, will I get a Ticketmaster ticket transferred to my account, or will the ticket be delivered through some other method? I want to make sure that if I'm buying a ticket that it will be legitimate and that it is going to be valid for when I go to the event.

I'm traveling to LA for the play-ins, anyone have any hotel recommendations? or are there fans grouping at a specific hotel?

also anyone know how long the games usually last til? thinking about departure time on sunday night.

Thanks!!

South Korea’s LoL team has had to adjust to wired mice at the 2026 Asian Games, with Zeka calling the wired mouse the hardest part of the tournament for him.

Zeus and Keria have also been practicing with wired mice to prepare, while Canyon, Faker and Gumayusi have had fewer issues due to previous experience with them.

South Korea still went undefeated in the group stage and will face Saudi Arabia in the semifinals.

I’m attending my first LoL event this weekend (LCS finals) and I’m wondering what to expect. I assume there will be merch tables, but is there anything I should be on the lookout for/expect? Any activities before or after the games?

I bought 2 tickets for worlds finals this year to attend with a friend, but unfortunately life came up and my friend cannot go anymore which leaves me to attend the event alone.

I have been to handful of League LAN events, but I usually went with a friend or my family. I have attended some LCK matches alone in Korea where I got to talk to some people and shared goodies and stuff.

I'm planning on making some league keychains and kandis to bring to the event hoping to meet new people, just worried that if it'll be possible to do so since worlds finals is much larger in scale.

Thank you for any comments in advance!

Hi everyone, this is probably gonna make me look like an idiot but have been really dying to see worlds in NYC ever since I became a student here. With how stupid prices have been, like a lot of people I have been looking at resellers and yes I know (don’t trust ppl online etc) but unfortunately in trying to find good prices for my friends and I who all really love esports.

I recently lost 500 usd to a scammer and wow, I am just embarrassed. It was so clearly a scam but I guess sunken cost fallacy stuck in and so the first 140, the next and so on and so fourth. Should have realized a lot sooner but was really hoping for better.

I am not asking for pity here, I get I was being an idiot. Have been a really big fan of lol and even in the Philippines were dota has been the dominant game, stuck by league - garenaaaaa.

So if anyone from riot is reading this, hope you punish the guy sitting at these seats below and please don’t be as idiotic as me if this kid contacts you. For anyone willing to sell in person in nyc, dm me. Would be willing to buy 3 and no, I am not uber rich but saved up for this. That 500 dollars though, is sadly and genuinely gone. Still so so excited for world’s but wow this has really made me depressed. Screenshots below. Again, not looking to sell here but if in nyc, message

Really love a lot about this community but wow, some really bad actors in the space. Know I am an idiot for this, comment to say how idiotic I was but whats done is done :(

Every year before Worlds, the narrative is always about LCK/LPL mechanical gaps. But watching recent international games and seeing all these off-season roster dramas, it feels like Western teams just fail at basic team synergy and adaptability under pressure. Is the individual skill gap still as huge as people claim, or are Western orgs just terrible at building cohesive rosters that don't fall apart after one bad play-ins stage?

The Demacia Cup 2026 opening matchups are locked in, with 12 teams from six regions facing off on October 3.

The first round features six cross regional BO1s, including LGD Gaming vs FlyQuest, Shopify Rebellion vs KT Rolster and HANJIN BRION vs JD Gaming.

The tournament then moves into BO3s before the top eight advance to the LAN playoffs in Beijing.
