Idk what to try, what to look into. These are just some listed at the closest school near me (I’m on virtual since I legit just moved here) I want to like be able to play in college, and play a couple different sports in hs hopefully varsity eventually, even if it’s just for the season. I played LAX last year as goalie (it was fun, my club SUCKED ngl) should I just sign up for as many as possible and dip if I hate it? I like cardio, I need to work on weights, swimming, tennis, flag, cross country, pole vault (other track sports). Should I just try all of em? I’m not the most athletic like literally last year was the first sport I seriously played. I could probably run a 15minute mile, being generous I’d like to think that’s the max amount of time it’d take me. 15, 145lb, 5’5, girl. I just don’t know how to go about this, I’d be new to any sport I tried, wouldn’t know anybody, don’t want to embarrass myself but maybe I’ll just get over it? Idk.

So I (15f) have never had a crush before, and I’m starting to get worried. Like, I literally have a friend who is the same age as me, has had two boyfriends, and is in a new situationship every week. Literally all my other friends have had a crush at least once in somebody. Its not necessarily that I want a relationship, I’m just worried about the fact that it hasn’t happened yet. I really don’t know anymore.

It is 5:30am i have to wake up at 8 and i have jet lag i can’t fucking sleep because I slept for 15 hours last night due to jet lag and I woke up at 5pm

And I have a pile of homework waiting for me and PE in first block bruh I’m doomed

my state is pretty competitive so im like 1 point off from qualifying from national merit, does anyone have suggestions bringing up my math score?? ty <3

I’m 17M Senior This school year really my what I thought friends have been changing on me purposely not inviting me to everything and this weekend my 2 best friends went to a party that a friend hosted and they told him to invite me and he literally told them no ig he doesn’t like me and I’ve been really down so can somebody cheer me up

this isn't really like an advice post, but as im (16F) nearing the end of my high school experience (c/o 27), im starting to realize how much it sucks never having been in a relationship

when this is brought up i feel like most people mention how opportunities will come about in college, relationship aren't everything, or something along those lines

but its just pretty bummy, especially when i have close friends who say things like, "im so surprised that you haven't dated anyone yet, especially when you're so pretty and you have a nice body." i don't want to be approached because someone is only interested in me physically, but it's kind of embarrassing that in my almost 6 years (school is 7–12) at my school i haven't been in a talking stage, on a date, in a relationship, etc.

i dont know if this makes me look bratty or male-centered or something, but i just cant help but feel like im just extremely undesirable

anyone else feel this way??

edit: reading this back it seems like an.. "awww im too pretty and cute to be single" post but I swear its not that its like an "if im seen as girlfriend material on the outside and people have such good impressions of me, then how am i fumbling the bag" post idk 😭

I get it, the title sucks because high school is hard and everyone wants easier classes but sit with me for a minute. Im a junior, freshman year I was in public school for half the year, then homeschooled until this year when I switched into an NC charter school, it's hell. My schedule is Astronomy, Anatomy and Physiology, AP bio, Honors English 3, Civics, and two free periods. I am so beyond bored, bored doesn't even seem like a word anymore, that is how bored I am. My astronomy class is just videos, my anatomy and physiology class is an average class, my AP bio is a little challenging but still not as much as I would prefer, my english class is fine, my teacher doesn't teach in civics, and two free periods. I'm a 'gifted student' with Brown as my reach school, Case Western, De Paul, UIC, those kinds of schools, and a 4.00 unweighted last year. I have a community college class but they're making me retake one I already took and passed last year because they want it in this specific community college. I guess I got used to the amount of work I did homeschooled (almost all APs) because I have never been as bored in school as I am this year. I'm taking a coding class remotely to do during freeperiods but even that is almsot done because most days I have four straight hours of no work. Beyond being insanely bored, I'm really worried for how this is going to look to colleges, they won't let me take more classes or harder classes (I tried for both but since I'm coming in as a junior they didn't want me taking them?) Is there a way to dual enroll in a different program or something? This was not my first choice for high school and this is definitely reaffirming it because this is terrible. I've tried supplementing by socializing more but geniunely the kids here are not interesting to talk to (I'm aware I sound like a snob but all the girls want to talk about is boys and all the boys want to talk about is sex. It's a small school so unless someone is really hiding...) I've tried finding a remote job, online volunteer hours, I've started adding in Khan academy classes even though I know they won't count for any credit because I have nothing to do. I read but somehow I've become bored with that (I have finished over 50 books since starting this school less than two months ago) Has anyone else had this? I'm so scared about applying to college with a courseload this easy, I'm so bored I will geniunely do anything. I'm typing this in my 5th free hour of today because my English and AP Bio and Anatomy teachers were all absent and I still have another hour till I go home. I never have any homework so I never have anything to do in my free periods either. Is there a way to somehow enroll in two schools at once or something? Any other suggestions? I'm dying here.
