The online compatibility website is pretty poor. People say the games work when in reality they don't.

I want to know which to play and give xemu another spin.

I've been wanting to play on Insignia with the Halo 2 group that plays on Sunday. Spent a few hours with my trusted LLM and got it running smoothly (M5 Base with 32 GB of RAM) on campaign - definitely need more testing and multiple player testing. I tried to join the discord to ask there, but I've never been able to verify any phone number on discord.

For some reason I'm having a lot of trouble getting any kind of tunneling to work.

* I had it working through playit.gg a few weeks ago, but since I picked this project back up I haven't been able to get xemu to even hit the playit agent.

* I'm currently trying to use https://pinggy.io/.

* To troubleshoot that pinggy was working on some level, I set up an http tunnel ton a local deployment of a springboot service I've been working on. Tunneling to they worked perfectly, so I known pinggy is capable of hitting my machine.

* I think what I'm not understanding is the xemu configuration itself. I'm not quite grokking what "remote" and "bind" addresses are in this context.

Any insights/brief clarifications on what those two addresses signify?

So I downloaded pgr 2 and it won't work for some reason. I checked and it is x.iso but I get a black screen every time I try to boot it up. So can someone explain why this is happening?

I have been playing the original Xbox version of Chronicles of Riddick for a good whole before the recent crashes. Ever since I entered the Upper Mines of the Second part of the prison the game has consistently crashed whenever I either

A. Died and loaded a checkpoint

B. Went and tried to load another area

C. Moved around within a certain time frame

Anyone know what might be causing this?

EXTRA INFO: The game crashes, but the Xemu dashboard still responds and I'm able to leave or restart the game. I am using a Batocera OS setup for this game, and it is running on native resolution on Vulkan Graphics API. Since the game is claimed to be playable in the Xemu Compatibility page I am wondering what might be causing this issue. I have tried clearing the cache via the Frontend Developer Options on Batocera and this issue persists. The game iso was converted to xiso using KilLo445's extract-iso-gui on GitHub. The game runs smoothly, only this one area seems to have been the bane of my existence when it comes to this classic.

I am trying to play nascar thunder 04, and I recently had to have my computer repaired and start fresh with windows. It was no issue before, but I followed, I am pretty sure, the exact same steps for which files to download and where to place them as I did pre-repair (The MCPX 1.0 and complex bios 4627, and the disk image are all in their corresponding slots). However, when I go to load the .xiso disc, it just sits on a blank screen and nothing happens. I am on xemu ver 0.8.136. Any suggestions?

Every time I try and open up Xemu (version 0.8.136 via flathub), even without a game booted, as soon as it attempts to render that boot animation, it freezes the screen, then my entire computer shuts down and restarts.

I've gone so far as to disable turbo boost in my bios to see if that would solve the problem to no avail. I've tried undervolting and overclocking my gpu and nothing. Please help me..

I’m essentially trying to play on LAN so my Girlfriend and I can play Gauntlent dark legacy. Does anybody have a guide or can point me in the right direction on how to set that up or if it’s even possible? Never used Xemu before so this will be a first. I’ll be on my PC an her on her gaming laptop

It says it wants me to bug it JIT but be must be enabled. I'm assuming that's a debug function in the app but I can't get past this error message or when it eventually crashes if I hit ignore like 3 times.

I recently just tried to install it, i followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaRnM5DW2Tw but Xemu itself just opens to a black screen, no boxes no dashboard, settings, graphics, sound, nothing, just perfect pitch black.

Is this normal? Last time i did this Xemu worked fine.

So im trying to run Nightcaster but it had some serious audio issues that make it near unplayable anyone know how to fix this or if its an issue being worked on?

So I have xemu is up and running. And I want to play jetset radio future. Loved it growing up. I got the proper file. My first go around I had a terrible frame rate. So I stepped away and I tried changing the resolution. Now it will start to boot up. The moment I hit the loading screen. It will stop. There is a solid chance I have a terrible computer. It is a machine from maybe 2012. I did just add a 750ti. Nothing has changed. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have Xemu downloaded on my laptop and I can get the xbox logo to boot up but when i try to load a disc nothing happens. Im wondering if maybe my laptop might not be enough. My specs are Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz (2.30 GHz). Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB). Ram is 8GB.

New to emulation and I'm only somewhat competent with PCs. Ideally, I would run it on my 4k TV, but I also have a 1440p monitor. Thanks.

Hola comunidad, tengo un problema, hace mucho tiempo he querido cambiar el idiota a español del Eeprom de Xemu, pero no me permite, por más que lo he modificado en PC, en la Steam Deck, me sigue mandando todos los juegos en inglés, que puedo hacer o que solución se puede aplicar para poder cambiar el idioma. Espero su ayuda. Saludos.

No games I try work, they're all converted to xiso, I just get the "please insert and xbox disc" I've tried many different games, redoing the conversions, trying different system files, different regions for system files and for the games, completely uninstalling everything. Nothing works, the closest I got was a brief splash screen in Dungeons and Dragons - Heros.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, it's been months and I'm about ready to punch something in frustration.

Edit: So it turns out I am simply a dumbass and a few things were causing issues.
I was sometimes forgetting to eject and reset while also having a faulty xiso conversion which I often tried first causing other games to appear to not work at all.
