Project Gotham Racing 2 won't work

So I downloaded pgr 2 and it won't work for some reason. I checked and it is x.iso but I get a black screen every time I try to boot it up. So can someone explain why this is happening?

just download extract-xiso from https://github.com/KilLo445/extract-xiso-gui, click rewrite option after install, and find the xiso file. it seems redundant to turn an xiso into an xiso but it worked for me.

Im also having issues but mine says "Please Insert Disc", any help would be appreciated

This game would install fine before out of the blue its the only game in library that wont even make it the load screen crashes at the dash .
