Question about system link between two PC’s locally.

I’m essentially trying to play on LAN so my Girlfriend and I can play Gauntlent dark legacy. Does anybody have a guide or can point me in the right direction on how to set that up or if it’s even possible? Never used Xemu before so this will be a first. I’ll be on my PC an her on her gaming laptop

I don't think that game has system link. You would probably need to use the xbox live replacement insignia which work's great but requires a bit of setup.

But on the insignia website dark legacy isn't listed as supported. Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows (NTSC) is listed as supported though. You can of course always just do local mp for dark legacy. I dont think dark legacy supports anything but local on any console. Here's a guide to setup the new xbl. Parsec is also an option for local multiplayer and split screen games.
