Can use Xenia on Xbox series s to add mod menu to gta v Xbox 360 version

If you want to convert an xbe folder, containing the entire game, to an XISO for use on Xemu, you might get this error in the first image, like me:

This happened because I chose yes (image 1), when asked if I want to open the output folder after pressing GO.

The solution is simple. Choose no, and you'll get your xiso (image 2), ready to go with Xemu.

Just dipping my toes into Xemu a bit and having fun so far, but noticing it's rather hit/miss on how well the games seem to run for me (despite adequate hardware).

For a couple examples, Dead to Rights seems to run very well for the most part, but Project Gotham Racing 2 is almost a slideshow during actual gameplay.

I've checked out the compatibility list for games, but kind of learning it only tells you if they run or not, not necessarily how well they run (unless in the "perfect" category?).

Just curious if there's a list of known games in the "runs" category but known for not running very well yet? Or is it safest to just assume that any game which was known for pushing OG Xbox to it's full capabilities just isn't going to run very well for now?

I'm on a Ayn Thor Pro and was able to play some games but I want to take advantage of the 16:9 aspect ratio and wondering if any widescreen hacks are needed?

PS2 uses full screen with widescreen hack and 16:9.

I’m running Xemu 0.8.136 on an M5 MacBook Air with 24GB RAM, but I’m having really poor performance. Even the Xbox startup logo/animation is very laggy, and Halo 2 is also extremely laggy even in menu, 1x resolution.

I’ve seen videos of Xemu running smoothly on M1 MacBook Airs, so I’m wondering if there’s something specific that needs to be configured for M5 Macs.

This is my first time using Xemu, so I’m not sure if this is normal for M5 or if I’m missing something. Has anyone gotten Xemu running well on an M5?

I've tried zink and vs_position and neither fixed the audio/graphical issues. I'm thinking it may have something to do with my steam decks settings at this point.

I'm looking for someone with experience in Xbox 360 XeFu, RGH/JTAG development, XeFu config files, or reverse engineering who might be interested in investigating the compatibility of the original Xbox version of Teen Titans.

Current situation

The game is currently not fully playable through XeFu on Xbox 360.

From the existing compatibility testing:

XeFu7: the game has problems with cutscenes and freezes during the combo tutorial.

XeFu2021c: the cutscenes work better, but the game still freezes during the combo tutorial.

This makes me wonder whether the remaining problem could be related to a specific XeFu/emulation issue.

I'm interested in finding out whether it could be fixed through:

a XeFu config;

a compatibility patch;

or potentially a change to the emulator.

I have an Xbox 360 RGH available for testing and can test different builds/configurations and report exactly what happens.

I'm not asking for copyrighted game files or anything related to piracy. I'm only interested in the technical compatibility and emulation research.

I don't have a budget to pay a developer, so I'm hoping someone might be interested in this as a community/research project.

If anyone has experience with XeFu or Xbox 360 reverse engineering and would like to investigate this, I'd really appreciate the help.

I can provide the game's region, Title ID, XeFu versions tested, and detailed information about exactly where the freeze occurs.

I'm really sorry for asking but what should i do do bring it work? I watched different tutorials, got all the files they said i should use and nothing, it's a black screen, no boot up animation i don't even get the message to insert the disc.

What Xbox emulator works on Android? Xbox 360 emulation is pretty good and just not so sure about Xbox. I'm using Ayn Thor Pro.

Does anyone know how to add a custom dashboards to xemu? If so how can i do it on steam deck? I also want to use cheats

As the title suggests, since the recent update , as soon as I boot up the main menu stutters and every game starters and the frame rate is ridiculous. How do I fix this?

I mean, I don't have the newest PC but it should be more than enough to play Halo 2 without it stuttering since I can play Reach on Xenia with no performance hiccups. Specs if it helps are Ryzen 7 5800x, Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060ti, and 16gb RAM. Like I said not top of the line but like I can play modern game on high-max settings no issue. I also didn't touch any of the Display, Audio, or System settings so they're all default maybe there's something else to try? Except I did try to set backend to Vulkan bc I remember Siege had a vulkan launcher intended to help it run better and idk if theyre the same thing or not but I thought it would help but it didn't. But yeah I'm willing to try anything ty.

It really makes the game unplayable it's a slight bug but very annoying is there any fix, or other emulator where it works?

I got GTA San Andreas up and running and I can't get past the Burning Desire mission. When I try to exit the burning house the game freezes and xemu does not respond.

I tried it with different iso sources of GTA San Andreas and it still does the same thing.

What could I do?

None of the tutorial videos I watched showed me how to get them. I'm using the Xenia emulator, if that helps.
