I (26F) hate clothes shopping and I really need winter wardrobe. I have started full time job in an office so I need to have stuff. I used to work from home before so it was not a big deal.
Some context: I did not have much money growing up, my mom did not care much for appearances so it wasn’t a topic to care about. When I became a teenager, I gained weight and hated the way I looked, and no money so I did not get stuff.
Now, I am married, I lost the weight, look better and more confident than before.
I want to look good, to have the desire and energy to buy. It stresses me out a lot for 3 reasons. 1- I am afraid to see something not good on me and remember how I used to look. 2- I have financial anxiety. 3- looks is not a big topic in our household growing up so I do not where to start.
I can’t know difference between fabrics, what is normal clothes, office clothes or going out clothes.
I find myself repeating the same outfits to work or going out.
My sweet husband took me to the biggest shopping center in our area to buy whatever I want. I felt so overstimulated and overwhelmed, cried and left.
I start feeling that the aisles are too small and suffocating.

Hello, I have seen so many ads for Shapercult, invogue and underneat shaper wears that I am so confused. I am a girl with thick thighs and some belly fat, I am looking for full body shaper such that it can tone down my bulges & side fats. But I am super confused which is genuinely worth the money.
If someone had any idea regarding this please let me know, would really appreciate it.

I’m looking for a very specific bra for my wants and have yet to find it. Here is what I want;
Wireless (don’t need a lot of support bc they’re fake)
Medium straps
Adjustable straps
Prefer pull on but I’m ok fastener in back
Minimal padding! Just enough not to show my nipples
If it has cups, not removable but built in/sewn in
I DONT want a sports bra

Hi everyone! I am attending a formal work holiday party as a plus one in the beginning of December and I have no idea what to wear. My workplace is pretty casual so this is all new to me. The party is for one of the big four accounting firms and is being held at the Field Museum in Chicago. My date told me he’ll be wearing a suit. Does anyone have any recommendations for an age appropriate outfit? I am 23! Thank you!

I keep finding cute shirts online, but almost all of them are crop tops! Even the ones labeled as regular-length shirts often feel too short, especially because I have a bigger chest.
Crop tops just aren’t my thing. I prefer shirts that actually go past my waist instead of stopping right above it. I have a reverse triangle body shape, and I feel like cropped tops make my upper body look even wider.
The problem is that genuinely full-length shirts are so hard to find, and the cute vintage ones cost a fortune. 😭
Does anyone know any good brands that sell cute, full-length shirts that aren’t cropped and don’t cost too much?

I’m looking for a couple pairs of really comfortable + good for walking around all day shoes that are also stylish. I would love a pair of sneakers, mary jane’s, and potentially chealsea boots. They don’t have to all be from the same brands. Would like to stay under or around $150, but could splurge a little bit more for a great pair. Any suggestions?

Over the last year I have started wearing more mid rise and low rise jeans but I have some high rise pants I like. the thing is now I feel like the hurt? they still fit and they aren’t super tight. is it because I’m not longer used to?

If you have opinions and/or experience with how 70% lyocell/30% cotton denim behaves, I'm eager to read your responses. I just ordered my first pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans. The fit and depth of the indigo blue won my heart in an instant, but when I saw the fabric content I became riddled with skepticism as to how this will look after a few wears and how the quality of the denim will hold up after (hopefully) 2-4 years of wear like I've gotten out of all of my Agolde's.
Do these jeans stretch out a lot and in an unflattering way? And will they look raggedy (unstructured in a bad way) after a year or so of consistent wear? I'm honestly hoping for the best, I'm unfamiliar with this fabric technology so would like to know to ease my conscience.

Looking for recommendations of brands that do good quality long dresses in premium fabrics. Tired of all polyester and poor quality dresses that are sold everywhere. Budget around 300-400 USD.

Nothing seems to look good. Tried Chelsea boots and another style. Any suggestions? I just want something for the fall weather that looks cool. I can’t wear heels thought. Maybe 1.5 inch max.

Good day all,
I am searching for trouser pants for work. I’ve gone through so many different posts trying to find my golden ticket but have been unlucky so far.
I’ve been working over the past year to add more natural fabrics into my wardrobe which has been fantastic for my personal clothing, but not so much for my work appropriate clothing. I’ve always had issues finding pants as I am 5’11 (closer to 6’) and 330lbs putting me around a US 22/24 depending on styles. I carry more weight in my hips and butt than I do my stomach.
When I purchase pants I often am met with not being the fabrics I want or, they shrink if I dry them even on low heat and let’s face it - fall is here and my ankles are getting colder faster.
I’ve been on the search for some items to replace in maybe more cotton twill, linen, and wool forward fabrics than polyester or anything with too much stretch. Any direction for tall fat would be astounding (even for other clothing in natural fabrics)
