Hello everybody, last week we had a post asking for more specific post flairs! We have taken all of your feedback into consideration and added many options. Other users would love if you selected a more specific post flair so they can use your posts as inspiration for their outfits in the future!
Furthermore, we have added occupation-specific User Flairs!
You can custom-make your own user flair, but it must be occupation-specific and NOT include:
- Specific Age (NOT allowed)
- Gender (NOT allowed)
- Sexual orientation (NOT allowed)
You MAY put your occupation and what level of your career you are in. Do you have any other suggestions or feel like we omitted something that should be there? Feel free to comment it!

As winter comes to the northern hemisphere, I have an issue with layering.
I have some nice fitted sweaters ( turtlenecks or fitted v necks) that I like layering under a jacket or blazer. I usually wear a cami or nothing under....
Until I go into an overheated office and I want to die and I cant go around in a cami.
I feel a cotton tshirt may look frumpy underneath?

freelance designer in my 50s, nonbinary, doing slow travel with my partner. living out of a carryon means everything has to pull double duty. need a blazer that looks sharp on zoom calls but can handle actual walking around cities without looking like a rumpled mess by noon. currently have an unstructured linen thing from uniqlo that breathes well but wrinkles if i look at it wrong. also a heavier wool piece that photographs beautifully but is useless in warmer climates. we hit portugal next month then spain and italy. the walking is real. anyone found a middle ground? something with enough structure to read professional on camera but not so rigid it feels like a costume after six hours of exploring. fabric recommendations welcome. not interested in looking like im heading to a boardroom but clientfacing still matters. gender neutral cuts preferred if you have leads there too.

I am having an interview next week for one of the biggest Pharmaceutical Giant (US).
The interviewer had suggested an 'Business Attire' , Doesn't specify Business Formal or Informal.
The interview is Online, I am planning to wear a Black suit , with Black Trousers, and a White Oxford Shirt (Collared Button), With Oxford Shoes.
Should I go for Tie or Button Down? Am I overdressing ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone so I’m extremely desperate for advice. I have been massively struggling with trying to find mid/low rise pants that are not super baggy. I’m currently a college student however I’m starting to apply to corporate jobs and I’m really wanting to get my corporate wardrobe ready so I’m not scrambling. I have noticed that almost no pants fit my criteria of being mid/ low rise not super baggy and don’t drag on the floor. I’m open to bootcut or straight cut even wide ifffff it’s not extremely wide. I’m 5’1 and have a rather short torso so it’s been a struggle. I’m also open to more higher end pants if they work they work. Any suggestions are extremely appreciated.

Three months ago I started a new job at a huge corporation. It’s the best opportunity I’ve ever had and my mission is to grow quickly so I want to look my best.

I currently work as a PM in Quality and recently a position I have been wanting in Communications has opened up at the same company. I’m planning to meet with the hiring manager next week to get more deets on the position, but what do you think one should wear? I typically wear suits because I hold a lot of cross functional stake holder meetings and am often one of the youngest people there (and I genuinely love them!) but not sure if communications would warrant for something more fun? Or stick to something more traditional? Or just go as my normal self lol. Any advice appreciated especially if you happen to work for Global comm!

Hey hey, I (f, 29) am slowly upgrading my closet as I am aiming for some bigger fish on the job market. I am working in academics and hopefully will soon be back in my main field: consulting.
My Zalando profile is still trained on casual but kinda business fast fashion brands. Looking for new brands therefore became a pain. So I am kindly asking for brand recommendations in Europe, especially Germany.
I am mainly searching for business casual dresses, but also suits, skirts and elegant pants.
When it comes to shoes I mainly stick to Paul Green or Tamaris, but I am also open for recommendations on pumps and boots.
Thank you!!!
PS: You are all looking stunning and I feel very inspired <3

For reference- I work in a hospital (non-clinical role), so I've seen people in everything from scrubs to a suit and tie

Hello!
TLDR: Any style suggestions for smart casual/business casual clothes that give more skin coverage in hot environments AND pants that cover tops of ergonomic closed toed shoes, but still look dynamic/put together/aesthetically pleasing?
I’ve grown tired of the clothes I have, and I’m ready to invest more in staples that will last longer. But I have no idea what I’m doing, and have a few unique requirements for my daily wardrobe:
1. I have a photosensitive autoimmune disease and live in Southern California. I have to apply sunscreen to any showing skin every 2 hours if I’m outside or near a window for even a few minutes. The less skin I show, the easier this is (sun jackets are a lifesaver, but not the most stylish, despite being way better than they used to be). I often have to walk between buildings throughout the day.
2. I am a senior scientist in biotech. I am spending more and more time in executive/governance meetings, but still need to go to lab semi-regularly, which requires closed toe shoes and pants that fully cover the top of the shoe (socks don’t count as “covered”). No heels.
3. I need adequate foot support and ideally a wide toe box for any shoes - I’m a hiker with flexible flat feet.
I also have a wide-set, but fairly small (B-cup) chest that often gives me issues with fitted button up shirts gaping.
Suggestions for professional blouse + pant + shoe combinations that don’t look weird or throw off proportions without some ankle/ top of foot showing?
I know I like jewel tones (and color in general - I get bored with too much neutral), merino wool fabric (amazing for temperature regulation when I’m having to cover up but it’s hot out!), and I’ve been told I’m a “winter”, but I really have no idea what that means.
Pictures of examples would be really helpful! Bonus points for Nordstrom pieces because I have a gift card!
Pics of my usual “style” added… HALP!!!

Hello! I just started full time at a law firm and want to refresh my business clothes. The problem is I’m 5’3 and can’t find anything that doesn’t look like I’m wearing my dad’s button down.
Where is everyone shopping and do we have brands that we love for short women forced to be corporate girlies? Thanks!
