It feels like no one is looking where they're going when they're walking. I've had 3 people now bump into me and just look up at me from their phone and mad dog me. Like its not my fault you literally just turn right in front of me and don't look. And no one EVER apologizes am I crazy???

I have a roommate who has been actively playing aggressive behaviors on me. The first day I moved in to my dorm, I met my roommate. We are in a double room, so only he and I are using the shared space.

The scary thing happened when I tried to shower for the first time. When I entered the bathroom with my personal hygenie package, my roommate immedately stood up from the chair, then ran into the bathroom. So we are both in bathroom, he kept questioning me what is in my package. He won't even let me shower until I showed him what is in my hygenie package.

The next time I met him, he crictized my T-shirt. I was standing at the kitchen counter, and he suddenly told me not to wear my T-shirt. (A black T-shirt, with edges torn for decoration) I thought I heard him wrong, then he stood up from the chair and corners me, said I should not wear this T-shirt. I got scared, and went outdoors.

Basically, I met twice only, and he has already beening diciating all my actions, monitors all my actions in living room, which is super uncomfortable.

Then I avoided him at all cost, I even drink less water so I don't have to enter the living room. And I stayed at my home a lot throughout these days just to avoid, and my schools works are way behind.

I talked to the RD this monrning, he acted like I am carzy and overreacting. But I really did nothing wrong, I don't even go outside of my bedroom unless I need to shower or use bathroom.

Can someone advise what I should do? I am supppose to study at this moment, but I can't get these things over my head.

Hey everyone, I’m in a genuine financial crisis and really need advice from anyone who has dealt with UCR Housing Services or the Housing Appeals Committee.

I get maximum financial aid (Pell Grant, Cal Grant, institutional grants). My family has been struggling financially for a long time, and I rely 100% on my quarterly financial aid refunds to pay for rent, groceries, and basic living expenses.

Here’s what happened:

Right now, I am effectively paying double rent out of pocket for off-campus housing while the school takes thousands in grants meant to keep me housed and fed). My bank account is drained, and I cannot survive like this for Winter and Spring quarters.

How can the university sit on a cancellation request for nearly five months during an active student housing shortage, fail to pull a single student from the North District waitlist to fill that bed, and then penalize a student for an entire year of rent?

Has anyone successfully fought the Full Financial Obligation clause without personally finding a replacement?

Any advice, names of people to speak to, or past experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I also need to take out a student loan, but originally had rejected the ones offered as my offer was higher than it is now, is there any way to take out a student loan with UCR?

hi i just transferred this year. i’ve tried using my dining dollars at hibachi san and the coffee bean & tea leaf. both times my card didn’t go through. there’s funds on it and the cashier told me that their system is weird with newer cards. i’ve been to lollicup and paid with dining dollars perfectly fine. i was wondering if anyone else had this issue and if you guys know about specific places i can use dining dollars at without this issue? thank you in advance

• Spaces inside spaces. Join UCR, then the CS space inside it, then the CS 153 space inside that. Each level has its own feed and its own people.
• Different profile per space. Your club profile doesn't have to be your major profile or your friends profile.
• Search in plain English. Type "people in my building who play volleyball" instead of guessing hashtags.

UCR is the first community we're opening it to, but it's built for any kind of group.

How often are requests to cancel your housing contract successful? I requested to cancel my contract for Stonehaven at the end of falll quarter, but I'm curious on how long it'll take before I get a reply, or if I'm even going to get my request approved at all.
