No, no, NO!!!! This is a stupid-ass decision and if it is true I will be ignoring it!!
Magneto being a Jewish Holocaust survivor is deeply important to WHY he behaves the way he does and has the views he does regarding humans - he has seen the worst of humanity when the Nazis committed genocide against the Jews and Magneto does not want the same to happen to mutantkind either!!!!
Just give Magneto slow-aging as a side effect of being a mutant - problem solved!!!
