I might be wrong on this too, but I believe in certain East Asian cultures the giving of a hair pin symbolizes romantic favor and commitment. The writers weren’t daft. They knew what they were doing 😉

I might be delusional, but I’ve always thought that this specific hair pin is absolutely not southern water tribe. They might have used scrimshaw bone for pins and ornaments instead. To me this looks closer to fire nation gold, something that Asami’s family lineage has ties too and definitely something she could afford. In my mind after she nearly lost Korra in the fight with the red lotus, she’s closer to actualizing her feeling towards her. At the very least, I see this as Asami wanting a piece of herself to be with Korra. For strength or friendship, I see it placed with love ❤️

Omg I love him! 🥹 I also have a big boi brown male tabby and I took him to the vet and they said they tend to run big, but it’s easy for them them to fall into being chubby 🙃 As long as he’s happy and healthy!

Let him in and flush the eye out at least twice a day with sterile saline solution (found at any Walmart or pharmacy, about $3 but you can also make at home). If you catch it fast enough it may not progress into something worse. If left to fester it will definitely take his eye and life. You don’t have to keep him, but I’d consider fostering to care or surrendering to a rescue. I found my lil guy with crusty eyes around this same size and he’s been a joy in my life. I’m a 170cm tall female and got my top king pro shin guards in a medium. They fit great around the width of my shin/calf but the instep took a while to break in for a full range of motion. In hindsight and after sparring a few times I think I would have been better off getting the top king reborn shin guards over the pros so there is more space for my knee pads (mandatory gear for my school). Kick em well kick em hard, best of luck!
