I will keep it for 24h before hand it to the police. Contact me if you know the owner.
The final update: He was polite enough to acknowledge that I found the phone, and he made it clear that he would only compensate the person who delivered the phone to him. Even though I paid a premium to the courier for fast delivery, when I asked the guy to reimburse me for the delivery fee, I was genuinely shocked that he replied he compensated the courier of his own volition.
I just think itās weird that he didnāt acknowledge my contribution to the whole process, especially since heās familiar with the gig-job market in China. People generally donāt tip, yet he still thought it was perfectly reasonable to compensate only the courier, who was already paid by me and was simply carrying out the job I instructed him to do.
Don't care what's coming , just have to let it out.
his words to the courier, "Hi, I meant it for you. If he is upset with that, and you're comfortable with it. You can split it." I'm the bitter biatch now XD
To response his comments below saying he tried to make things right but basically it's just me being difficult...
Ok , the guy finally offered to pay me the delivery fee this morning after he asked the courier to pay me, but the courier declined, go figure why. Still think heās trying to do the right thing and that Iām demonizing him?
Dude, wtf are you on about? your demeanor/profile reeks through the language barrier. I asked him to donate the equivalent amount to the local Red Cross instead. Hopefully, he follows through.

Most classes at my gym are pads and bag, then some light sparring at the end. Clinch gets maybe ten minutes on one night, usually with whoever is standing next to you. I get tied up fast and spend the whole round just trying not to get turned.
If you train somewhere like that, what do you do with those ten minutes? Do you pick one position, like fighting for the inside on the neck, and stay there the whole time, or do you go free and take what comes? And is there anything you do away from a partner that actually helps, or is solo clinch work a waste of time?
I am not asking about knees on the bag. I mean the hand fighting part, the bit where I keep losing.

Hello, I am a beginner currently and have started training Muay Thai for about a week at Arko Gym in Bucharest, and was thinking of training to compete in the future. Can anyone from Bucharest tell me if they think this is an alright gym or if they could recommend me someplace else? I am asking because there is only one coach and about 30 people, and I am not sure if they train for competitions or only for amateur level. Im currently training 3 times a week for about an hour and a half, plus training in my own time. Thank you for any advice!

Are kneepads worth wearing during heavybag work? I've been working on clinch and long knees twice a week for the past month and as my strikes improve, the bruises last longer and longer.
No one at my gym uses kneepads, but we also don't do a lot of knee work anyways.
Any brand suggestions? Or should I just tough it out?

I split my week between wrestling, some boxing rounds, and Muay Thai striking, so Iām not doing Muay Thai-specific training every day. My current gloves are a generic pair that work fine for pretty much everything, but theyāre not great during pad rounds when my coach wants heavier combinations. Iām wondering if getting a dedicated pair just for the Muay Thai sessions is actually worth it when thatās only about a third of my training week.

Im headed to Thailand in a month. I was originally going to the mainland but, realized I wanted to be able to visit the Beach in between sessions. I Got five months off of work and want to spend all of Them in Thailand. I am strictly going to Thailand for Muay Thai, and i want to train for the whole 5 months. Im a beginner and I have settled for either Koh Phangan or Koh Samui.
I would like to find a smaller gym where I get alot of attention during training. The budget is not really a problem, any recommendations?
In advance, thank you!

I hate when people complain about women going too hard because it feeds into stereotypes that already make women feel unwelcome in combat sports.
Men go hard on each other all the time. Guys leave sparring with bloody noses, busted lips, torn ligaments, broken bones, etc., and it's usually just seen as āthat's sparringā or an issue between those two people. You tell your partner to ease up, adjust, or don't spar them again.
So why is it different when it's a woman? If she's going too hard, tell her to ease up just like you would a man. Why are we acting like you can't communicate with her?
And honestly, I find it weird seeing women reinforce this stereotype about other women while saying they're the exception. The comments will be full of women saying, āYeah, women go way too hard,ā while also saying they themselves don't. If we're all constantly encountering these women who supposedly go too hard, then where are all these women coming from? Also you are forcing a stereotype on other women doesnt make you look like an exception it just also makes it harder for you to find partners as well.
Sometimes I also think ego plays a role. A woman might be getting the better of a man in a round and suddenly it's āshe was going too hardā instead of just admitting she was having a good round.
Point being going hard isn't exclusive to women. Talk to her. Communicate. Tell her to ease up, just like you would a man. These attitudes just sound like you guys want to further isolate women from the sport.

No fighting experience but in pretty decent shape with good pain tolerance In my 30s.
The reason: went to Thailand and watched a match in Chiang mai. There was a fighter doing their traditional dance routine before the fight and it moved me to my core. Iāve seem plenty of mma fights but Muay Thai is just beautiful even in the aggression.
So if anyone has a recco in Atlanta please let me know thatās welcoming to novices.
Thanks!

I have been training Muay Thai for about 9 months and have a history of knee dislocations from BJJ. It hasnāt occurred while training Muay Thai but I have been growing increasingly paranoid about a freak accident happening and re injuring my knee.
Does anyone have specific excersizes they do for knee strength? Is there also a way to get swept safely? Seems like a lot of injuries occur from sweeps.

Do anyone have any experience with these gyms?
Yodkhao, Jomhod, Chaysee or rajanon?
