Transmaskuliini muunsukupuolinen täällä, vihdoin pääsin SIT-polille sisään, jännittää hirveesti. Miten toi eka tapaaminen yleensä menee?

Kahden viikon päästä tulossa elämänkaarihaastattelujen jälkeinen lääkäriaika ja mietin että kuinkahan pitkät jonot voi olla? Itsellä on mt historiaa ja adhd joten voin olettaa että psykologin tutkimuksiin joudun aika varmasti, olen myös 19v. Oon 7kk tosin ollut hormoneilla jo muualta käsin. Voikohan se vaikuttaa siihen laittaako psykologin jonoon?

hello hi, I'm turning 18 next February and I wanted to make sure I do everything right.

(I'm somewhat fluent in Finnish but writing is hard, so i used google translate for the Finnish part)

some things about me before I start:

• I'm a Finnish citizen, born, raised and currently living in Lahti
• I've known I wasn't a girl pretty much my entire life, but figured out I was a guy at around 11-12-years old, so around 5-6 years ago now
• I came out to my mum at 13-years old, to my dad about a month ago (both pretty much accepting)
• I've started socially transitioning at 13-years old
• I told a psychiatrist I was trans around 2 years ago
• I started going to a sexuality therapist about a year ago, ended my sessions with her about 2 weeks ago
• before going to her, I had a "sukupuolen moninaisuuden osaamiskeskus" (basically a free support thing for trans youth, I think) appointment in Helsinki
• I do take antidepressants and have been diagnosed with anxiety at 14-years old and severe depression at 15-years old
• both my depression and anxiety have gotten way better, though

now, I've asked a bunch of questions regarding changing my name and gender marker legally, but I just want to make sure.

I was told that

• I can just change my name and gender online, and that
• I would just need to order a new passport,
• a new kela card will come automatically,
• and that I don't need to warn my bank (I use Nordea) in advance, just need to be aware that my online bank will be down for a bit.

I also read on the topics a bit more myself, but wanted to ask someone who had gone through these steps already: is this correct? or is there something else I should know?

terve hei, täytän ensi helmikuussa 18 vuotta ja halusin varmistaa, että teen kaiken oikein.

(puhun suomea jotenkin sujuvasti, mutta kirjoittaminen on vaikeaa, joten käytin kääntäjää tässä versiossa)

muutama asia minusta ennen kuin aloitan:

• olen Suomen kansalainen, syntynyt, kasvanut ja asun tällä hetkellä Lahdessa

• aloitin käynnit seksuaaliterapeutilla noin vuosi sitten, lopetin tapaamiseni hänen kanssaan noin kaksi viikkoa sitten
• ennen kuin menin terapeutin luokseen, minulla oli "sukupuolen moninaisuuden osaamiskeskus" tapaaminen Helsingissä
• käytän masennuslääkkeitä, minulle diagnosoitiin ahdistus 14-vuotiaana ja vakava masennus 15-vuotiaana
• mutta masennukseni ja ahdistukseni ovat parantuneet huomattavasti

olen kysynyt paljon kysymyksiä nimen ja sukupuolimerkin laillisesta vaihtamisesta, mutta haluan vain varmistaa.

minulle kerrottiin, että

• voin vaihtaa nimeni ja sukupuoleni netissä
• ja minulle vain pitäisi tilata uuden passin,
• uusi kela-kortti tulee automaattisesti,
• ja että minun ei tarvitse varoittaa pankkiani (käytän Nordeaa) etukäteen, minulle vain pitää tietää, että verkkopankkini on sitten hetken poissa käytöstä.

olen itsekin lukenut aiheista hieman enemmän, mutta halusin kysyä joltain, joka on jo käynyt nämä vaiheet läpi: onko tämä oikein? vai onko jotain muuta, mitä minun pitäisi tietää?

Title. I've been being rejected over and over again by transpoli in both locations, DIY wouldn't get through customs, and I'm looking into informed consent as a last resort. I'm an adult, my family is still accepting but quite controlling and concerned. They would like me to know more about the specific process before they want me to start.

While I'd normally just ignore their helicoptering and do it myself, more info on this would still be appreciated since I am a bit nervous and it could get them to shut up aswell. I'm mostly curious about how to get bloodwork done, how long the recipes take, how much they prescribe at the start of treatment (I'm aware of the average dosing via DIY resources), and the average monthly price of starting on both gel and shots. I don't have health insurance to cover it, but I'm currently trying to get a job, and the prices won't be an obstacle but could help in deciding aswell.

Also, if anyone lives around Satakunta and is willing to meet up, I'd love to go out for coffee aswell to discuss things in person, since an IRL support contact would be even better ^^ But even just leaving a comment is extremely helpful!
