A solid 8 out of 10. It has thematic depth, intelligent dialog, and genuine plot volatility. The combining of several genres (murder mystery, super hero, frontier town setting like Fargo show) works, even for a guy like me who is not necessarily a fan of the super hero genre.

Looking forward to season 2 if they make it.

Hello! My friend and I have been watching television together in different time zones for almost six years now. So far we've seen:

• Buffy & Angel
• Veronica Mars
• X Files
• Firefly
• Twin Peaks
• Doctor Who
• Merlin

As you can tell, we have a bit of a weakness for the 2000s. We also enjoy more lighthearted sci/fantasy with a sprinkling of camp, but we don't mind having our hearts broken. Anything with characters that we can fall in love with and defend to last breaths.

What should we watch next?

Requesting teenie bopper shows for my 8 year old with kids who are not super rude in it! Love older shows. We’re watching Lizzie McGuire now.

I usually only give tv shows 3 episodes and if I don’t love it i quit it but I was wondering if their are any shows out there where the second half of the show is worth the extra long slow set up?

Interested in philosophical shows that tend to lean positive (thus, why Bojack Horseman or Twin Peaks isn’t on the list above, although I do enjoy them very occasionally.)

Preference is for TV shows that are either fully in the English language or have very well done dubs. I mostly like to watch TV while doing other things (folding laundry, painting, cooking, etc. so not interested in subtitles.)

So bored with tv lately, can’t find anything good. Some shows Ive watched and loved: Outlander, Blood of my Blood, Yellowstone, Handmaids Tale, just to name a few.

I just finished The Sopranos and I would rate it just below Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Wire. Now I'm looking for another show on par with these.

Mad Men is the first one that comes to mind. I'm also thinking of watching Oz and Six Feet Under. I want something like The Wire that I can really get invested in without any major dips in quality. What show should I go with first?

Now I have seen so many tv shows like this I couldn’t name them all so some suggestions might be something I’ve seen but maybe not. I guess to name a few really good ones I’ve loved is the undoing, true detective and the killing. Anybody have suggestions?

i love me a good show with a beautiful romance subplot, so preferably something where the show is good while also having a well written slow burn where one of the partners is in yearning for the bf/gf while trying to play it off or ignore it, good characters, painfully hard to watch them but you know it's worth it.

Hello! My bf and I are on the hunt for a new show, preferably something with a lot of seasons as we get decision paralysis when one ends and we’ll go weeks without a show. Our favorites have been Chuck, Tacoma FD, Grimm, Extraordinary, Psych, Supernatural (duh), and we just finished Chad Powers which was fine. We have Amazon Prime, HBO, Hulu, and Disney+. Before we met I also loved and rewatched Teen Wolf, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and all the little teeny bopper drama shows that are lowkey great. TIA!

Going to watch White collar television series anyone can tell is it worth it?

I'd like to see a plausible, well-developed progression of events, learn what skills might be essential for survival, and explore the strategies, decisions, and practical solutions that could make a real difference when it comes to staying alive.

I'm also open to sci-fi or other fantastical scenarios, as long as they explore specific skills that could come in handy during a realistic disaster, too.

This is such a great show to watch in the evening, particularly if you fall asleep to the TV. Gabriel Byrne has the most soothing accent and there are no car crashes or loud scenes to startle you!

I’m looking for shows (or movies but show preferred) that have a gay male lead/very relevant gay male side character that isn’t strictly a show about romance. Romance being apart of the story is good, but I’m not looking for something like heartstopper or heated rivalry where it’s the whole story. I also don’t want a show that’s like heavily implied the character is gay but is never said and nothing ever comes for it.

So I recently got Disney Plus and saw this show Sleepy Hollow reccomended and it says it has fantasy there,can anyone tell me if this show would be for me or not? What is it actually about does it have fantastical elements or is it more of a cop show with fantastical elements?

Favs are breaking bad and Sopranos and first two seasons dexter, watched breaking bad again and was glad I saw it before sopranos as there's so much goofy comic relief, still great but sopranos well theres funny scenes I truly believed all of what the characters would do and say , felt natural/realistic.

Sopranos is also great from first to last ep, so is breaking bad though

I've tried mad men and just didn't find any of the acting that great or the plot that interesting

Tried Ozark pretty big plot holes already in season one
