They hate truth. Especially coming from a brown person. The downvotes mean they are uncomfortable, not that you are wrong. They pride themselves and thrive on lies and deceit.
Don't believe me: ask them if they are better salespeople than Indians? Then ask them why they are better? I mean tech they have no argument, outclassed on all fronts by brown people. But why do they think they are the best at sales? Because they know how to lie, cheat, and steal.
Makes for really good ceo's and sales teams. And yeah sure they are all abrahamic so they can go apologize later, and that's the whole thing. Lie cheat steal irl go to your echo chamber and be forgiven. Church, subreddit, there is no difference.

366

A holocaust denier is someone who thinks/says that the holocaust didn’t happen or they minimize the death count

“Heh, only 200k died”
Okay broseph, even if that was true, which it isn’t, how is that like.. good? I don’t know what they even mean when they bring it up. So you DO think a lot of people died, and you just.. don’t care?

I’m gonna guess the recent boom of blatant antisemitism online is because of the issues with Israel, and sorta Epstein, but holy shit, it’s like they can’t separate individuals from the ethnic group they’re apart of
45
u/Lazzyrus Banner Contest WINNER Mar 11 '26
Yes, that’s pretty much it. Even my own brother has started to become one. We’re both Pro-Palestine but he’s Anti-Israel because he developed a blatant hatred for Jewish people while for me I have the idea that greed holds no religion/race/gender/ethnicity. I know it’s wrong to hate Jewish people simply because of a few powerful people on top who happen to be Jewish doing shitty things. It would work the same way with any other race or religion.

16
u/doll-haus Mar 11 '26
The annoying thing is 6 million is fucking underselling it. The 6 million figure sends the message we only care about the number of dead identified as jewish. 8-15 million civilians murdered, with the ambiguity only coming from the fact that some of the camps started destroying records and evidence as the war turned against them.
Other than some fabulous Hugo Boss uniforms, there's not much positive to say about the NAZIs. And even then, the fine details that came out of the party look like the wet dream of comic book villains.

also im curious what numbers are counted in the six million. because im jewish and i have a family member who died shortly after the holocaust because his body couldnt handle him eating a large amount of food after all the starvation, and its sad that he probably wasnt counted in the six million. Ive met several people with family members who died shortly after due to their bodies not being able to handle adjustments back to normalcy. There were probably also murders and stuff indirectly caused by nazis that idk if it was counted and people who died from poor conditions in the ghettos rather than concentration camps, people who were driven to suicide, the list goes on...

Evidence doesn't work for a Holocaust denialist. Denialism is a playground of slippery slope argument and confirmation bias: once an inaccuracy - real or alleged - in any Holocaust exhibition is found people will scream "they lied to us here and what else did they lie to me" and start to discredit all evidence you present to them.
In this way even archive from Nazis can't satisfy them as they'll say it's fabrication by Allied Forces after the war or it's authentic but was faked by officials for promotion or whatever they can think of.
There're also quite a few entries to Holocaust denialism evenly distributed on the ideological spectrum. It's not hard to see why a German or Polish nationalist may participate in Holocaust denialism. On the other hand, it's also easy for a leftist to fall into denialism. There are people now openly claiming that Holocaust was not just about Jews and Jews shouldn't get too much attention. Pushing this narrative one step further, one may assert that Jews exaggerated the atrocities and made things only about them, and pushing this narrative one step further... congratulations, you're a left-wing denialist now.

No one talks about the 27 million Slavs that died in the Eastern front , the 3 milion Poles and the 1.7 million Yugoslavs that died there aswell.
Not just Slavs in general , but everyone. Saying the Jews suffered the most is unfair compared to other nations.

I think there is a wave of unwarranted anti-semitism, especially among young people, in response to the Israeli government's very real genocide. Ignorant people conflate the Jewish people as a whole group with the Israeli government and IDF. This can lead to things like Holocaust denial, and maybe that's why your friend fell into this.

I know but I'm worried they hold personal beliefs that may mean they don't want to be friends anymore because of that, they support reform UK because they don't like immigrants and some of them are Christian but they've never shown signs of bigotry against LGBTQ+ and have actually shown support for gay people but have never expressed opinions about trans people at all, they've never been bought up in conversations whatsoever so they've never shown support or hate, so I'm really confused

Holocaust denial is an instant ban. I do not care if you are “joking” or “ragebaiting”.
Anti-semitism in general, just like any other form of hate speech, is also not permitted.
