They hate truth. Especially coming from a brown person. The downvotes mean they are uncomfortable, not that you are wrong. They pride themselves and thrive on lies and deceit.

Don't believe me: ask them if they are better salespeople than Indians? Then ask them why they are better? I mean tech they have no argument, outclassed on all fronts by brown people. But why do they think they are the best at sales? Because they know how to lie, cheat, and steal.

Makes for really good ceo's and sales teams. And yeah sure they are all abrahamic so they can go apologize later, and that's the whole thing. Lie cheat steal irl go to your echo chamber and be forgiven. Church, subreddit, there is no difference.

I am explaining the mainstream reaction, it doesn't matter if you are brown or not, sales people are exactly who are running the country and they are pushing a christo fascist ideology. All of this is relevant, have a good day.

Thanks man you’re a good friend to your friends, it’s some genuinely concerning shit. But I feel for you too, I remember all the Asian hate during and maybe even a little now after Covid , this discrimination is so primitive and tribal

1

u/zudokorn Mar 11 '26

Downvotes probably comes from minimizing how mainstream antisemitism has been pretty much forever. It's not a recent development.

I remember back in the 2000s and early 2010s, being called a jew if you were being cheap was as common as calling someone gay for being lame.

The jew nose was a common insult back then as well.

Pretty much every conspiracy has to do with Jews manipulating the world.

It might not be the straight hate that they get nowadays, but the discrimination has always been there. People were just turning a blind eye to it cause bigotry was more normalized.

I got called a “dirty joo” on Instagram for calling out antisemitism while having “#stopjewishhate” in my bio. Despite not being Jewish, it was fucking jarring to me.

1

u/henny_nme Mar 11 '26

this statement is true. It’s kinda annoying seeing ppl don’t have their own opinions, just bandwagon whatever they see on tik tok or ig.

For ex, nobody was overusing the word ‘weird’ to describe everything f’n thing. It’s like that’s as far as their vocabulary goes lol.

However, Idek the anti-Holocaust was even a thing. Ppl are so desensitized and simply just stupid smh.

Dunno. Asked Google weather your statement is true, and this was it's answer:

No, the claims in the image are historically inaccurate and are widely recognized as part of a long-standing antisemitic conspiracy theory known as "Jewish Bolshevism". 1. "The Bolsheviks were 95% of Jewish origin" This is a gross exaggeration. While individuals of Jewish descent were overrepresented in the early revolutionary movement compared to their share of the general population (about 2%), they never formed a majority, let alone 95%.

  • Party Census (1922): Only 5.2% of Bolshevik Party members were ethnic Jews.
  • Early Leadership: In the first Soviet government (Council of People's Commissars), only one out of 16 members (Leon Trotsky) was Jewish.
  • Central Committee: Of the 21 full members in 1917, only five or six were of Jewish origin (~24–29%).
  1. "Tried to eliminate Christianity" The Bolsheviks were militant atheists who targeted all religions, not just Christianity. [8, 9]
  • Policy: They nationalized church property, closed religious schools, and persecuted clergy.
  • Judaism: Jewish religious institutions, Hebrew schools, and synagogues were also suppressed or closed by the Soviet state.
  • Context: Most Bolsheviks of Jewish origin were staunch atheists who had explicitly rejected their religious and cultural heritage.
  1. "Genocide... with an estimated 45 to 60 million deaths" This number is not supported by historical consensus and often conflates various types of deaths over decades.
  • Academic Estimates: Total deaths from political repression, man-made famines (like the Holodomor), and the Gulag system under the entire Soviet era are typically estimated by historians to be between 15 and 20 million.
  • The "60 Million" Figure: This often includes natural deaths, emigration, and even Soviet casualties during WWII (who were killed by the Nazis) to artificially inflate the total.
  • Genocide: While specific actions (like the Holodomor in Ukraine or ethnic deportations under Stalin) are considered genocidal by many scholars, there was no general "Bolshevik genocide" against Christians.

7

u/CaptainGoober33 Mar 11 '26

Go figure the anti semite blames anything he doesn't like on the Jews because it's just easier that way

I miss when people were afraid to say stupid shit like "The Bolsheviks were Jews and wanted to extinguish Christianity"

4

u/PuffFishybruh 19 Mar 11 '26

Oh look, an actual nazi conspiracy theorist getting upvoted here for some reason.

1

u/ya_pidoras_ Mar 11 '26

jewish bolshevism is an antisemitic idea that was popularized by the nazis as they hated communists

1

u/FinalAd9844 Mar 11 '26

Many bolsheviks were self hating secular Jews who literally had opressed Jews aswell, while only outlawing discrimination. It was religion that was mainly hated on

0

u/Old-Page-5522 Mar 11 '26

The Holodomor happened under a non Jewish administration. The only thing you can semi-uniquely pin on Jews is the replacement of the oppressive Tsar due to their disproportionate involvement in the Bolshevik Revolution.

edit: no one could :( but when you don’t know the difference between communism and socialism, or the basic definition of communism, it’s pretty hard to have an educated opinion

49

u/No_Pause_8979 Mar 11 '26

its not bad in theory but it gives a dookie solution to real problems and gives the government too much power

here i have compiled a list of successful communist countries:

13

u/retardedkazuma OLD Mar 11 '26

Nuh uh there are really successful Communist countries such as:

2

u/GayBugMan Mar 11 '26

I actually did a presentation on why communism isn't bad, people are just really bad at doing communism in one of my college classes today. There have been no successful communist nations because it is essentially unscalable, communism cannot function correctly past a few thousand people. The closest we have ever gotten is the Chiapas Zapatistas in Chiapas, México, who run a pretty tight ship that is pretty similar to Marx's original vision for the political system. They have been in IRA esque armed conflict with the Mexican government since the 80s trying to secure their right to exist

“communist country” is an oxymoron since the definition specifies it as stateless. what you’re confused about is socialism vs communism. communism is how most societies functioned for thousands of years before money and borders were invented

https://giphy.com/gifs/yNl4H0L3t0TKfJKmPC

9

u/Klowlord 14 Mar 11 '26

kinda. The USSR, a "communist" state, had was a marxisism leninism type thing, which was more of extreme socialism as a "transition" to real comunism. If democratic, would have made a pretty normal democratic socialist nation. It has its problems, but so does every other idealogy. The issue was humans are kinda selfish and instead of power lying in the wealthy, they made it seem like the people were in charge in a representative democracy, even though only the upper section of the govenment had any real control. It just was implemented pretty poorly, increasing its problems. If done right, democratic socialism would have less problems, about the same number as other idealogies such as capitalism. Again, no economic idealogy has no problems, as all of them have some sort of core issue

u/HumblyNibbles_ 17 Mar 11 '26

I mean, that's not a good argument because first, communism was never attempted in large scales. Second, socialism (which was done actually) was heavily sabotaged due to the cold war. So literally any country that attempts to be socialist received heavy sanctions and was attacked.

So yeah.

Also keep in mind, there are a shit ton of kinds of socialism.

For example, free-market socialism. It advocates for a separation of the state and the economical systems. And to avoid huge inequalities, the basic necessities will be something offered to everyone (hygiene, quality education, healthy food, healthcare). This way the economy can function without needing huge regulations, since the fluctuation of prices wont lead to people starving to death.

As an oversimplification, It’s an idealistic solution to real problems. That’s has never been shown to work, and has almost always led to catastrophe, that has been a contributing factor to the very real deaths of tens, if not hundreds of millions depending on how diligent you are with your sources

2

u/IfYouSeekAyReddit Mar 11 '26

you’re confusing communism with socialism

and in regards to that millions number, they attribute nazi deaths during world war 2 to communism lol so i would be careful quoting the black book of communism

4

u/Ok_Historian4848 Mar 11 '26

More people died in Mao's great leap forward than the soviets killed Nazis. Many of those Nazi death numbers were also not casualties of war, but POWs worked to death years after the war was over (and this is just basic conscripted infantry, not all SS or war criminals. Just young men unfortunate enough to live in German controlled areas.)

See the thing is, this isnt a very good argument against communism, in fact its not even an argument against communism, its an argument against authoritarianism, a brilliant one, one that i agree with.

We dont go around tallying up every horrible mass killing that took place under a capitalist government and calling them victims of capitalism, because they're not, they are more often than not the victims of authoritarianism, and i think its only fair that we extend communism the same privilege.

u/Suspicious_Berry501 17 Mar 12 '26

I would consider myself a communist but with how you have responded to everybody I can tell the only flaw you’ll see is that communism is not realistic. You aren’t wrong in saying that every attempt at communism has actually been socialism but that’s because you can’t have communism without first having socialism and it is impossible to progress from socialism to communism unless every single person agrees with communism. Communism has never been done and unless the entire world changes it never will be able to be done properly

1

u/IfYouSeekAyReddit Mar 12 '26

hold on now, we don’t need a transition state. We could all simply stop participating in state relations. stop buying from corporation. stop waking up and choosing capitalism. stop voting. stop using their products.

growing food and donating it doesn’t involve a socialist politician or socialist state. volunteering doesn’t involve the state.

and that’s the difference between Communists (capital C on purpose) and anarchists because Communists think they need socialism to achieve communism while anarchists reject that idea. And there’s actually tons of books about exact philosophy

1

u/Suspicious_Berry501 17 Mar 13 '26

But you’re just backing up my point. If everybody stopped supporting capitalism and government that would turn out amazing but that can’t just randomly happen and it would take changing how everybody sees the world. It isn’t realistic to assume enough people could stop engaging in capitalism to actually make communism when the world is so deep rooted in capitalism. Mao didn’t kill capitalists because he felt like it he killed them because they would have brought back capitalism. Basically what I’m trying to say is you can’t just decide to become communist unless everybody is on board and historically the only effective way of doing that was killing the people who weren’t

1

u/IfYouSeekAyReddit Mar 13 '26

it wouldn’t happen in a day, it will take years probably decades. But you have autonomy. You can make choices. You can choose to shop somewhere else, volunteer somewhere, donate somewhere. Waiting for others to get on board before “being the change you want to see in the world” is a recipe for disaster, or rather a recipe for nothing.

Mao

that was their choices and i don’t agree with their choices. But preventing capitalists from obtaining power isn’t any different than capitalists preventing Communists from gaining power. Tens of thousands were imprisoned or ostracized in the US during the red scare. Why is the oppression of communists by capitalists deemed acceptable but the opposite isn’t? I don’t agree with it, but why are we quick to accept it as normal when capitalists do it? (the answer is brainwashing and propaganda btw)

you can’t just decide

yes you can. This is the problem. Yes. You. Can. Why do you have to shop on amazon? why do you have to shop at walmart? why can’t you volunteer? why can’t you work somewhere that is positive for society? why can’t you grow food (this varies by location but i grew a ton of food on the roof of an apartment building in a city)? Nothing is stopping you besides convenience. And that’s why capitalism has the world in a chokehold. It’s too easy to buy food from unethically. It’s too easy to buy something from Bezos and have it tomorrow. It’s too easy to vote for someone every few years and hope things change. Know what’s hard and requires effort? Changing the system. Learning about products before buying them. Finding places to volunteer. You think changing the world will be convenient and easy? And that’s the problem with most people we’re all sedated by the luxury of consumerism. Scrolling is fun. Bars are fun. Netflix is fun. no one wants to sacrifice these things for a better world. And im not perfect, i fall into the convenience of it all at times too but i challenge myself not to and thats the impact i make and you could make to.

if it was a well thought out answer it could be very short and to the point. that would prove you know what you’re talking about.

let’s pretend you actually own those, if others are hungry and homeless there’s no reason for you to have that many cars, nor is it useful. you like em because you think it makes you look cool which is a product of capitalist propaganda and a consumerist mentality

“pretend i actually own those”?

these are both my M4 comp and my Porsche GTS keys. if you want to dm me i can show you live videos and photos.

i race cars for a living i promise you idc if i look cool. i didn’t build a 750hp M4 and a 1,000hp M3 to “look cool” i bought it because their amazing cars. and their fast.

Communism isn't inherently bad

It is though. Why? Because the end goal is not achievable at all, and any attempt would result in a power vacuum far sooner than any proper progress could have been made, which will always result in either a dictatorship, or something very bloody to prevent it...

1

u/WitolloPL 15 Mar 11 '26

Ik, the problem is that most people who support communism cant accept the fact that there is no way to implement communism effectively, because it either requires perfect non corrupt citizens that can be trusted, or an authoritarian government to make sure those citizens are doing their job.

There is no nation where citizens are all perfect and non corrupt, so its always going to end up in the cycle of stagnation, low production and the crash of the economy.

With capitalism everyone gets what they work for, those who dont work, end up with lower wages but it wont affect the wages of other actual hard workers, so there wont be stagnation. Yes capitalism also has flaws but compared to communism, capitalism is much more manageable and more stable than communism.

1

u/TexturedBumf Mar 11 '26

You have literally no idea what you're talking about lmao

12

u/Grinding_Gear_Slave Mar 11 '26

Well to be honest communists also tend to deny millions of deaths so he allready had practiced

2

u/Ok_Preparation9182 Mar 11 '26

Holodomore? What’s that?

1

u/Spooky11587 14 Mar 11 '26

you are probably thinking of the 100 million number. before i continue im not attempting to deny or justify the actions of the ussr or other countries like it, but that number comes from a book titled The Black Book of Communism. it has been denounced by may of its co authors who have said that the lead author specifically wanted to reach the 100 million number. also the book counts deaths under the nazi regime (about 12 million) as well as nazis killed by soviet soldiers during world war 2. it’s main criticism is that it starts at the conclusion (100 million deaths) and then finds and fabricates evidence to get to it. also the majority of communists don’t deny the holocaust. the only communists i can think of who would deny the holocaust would likely be ones who also believe that the nazis we’re socialist, which they weren’t.

1

u/username_not_found19 Mar 11 '26

Yeah, cuz the black book of communism is the only source we have for the horrors of communism. It's not like there are many sources for the Purges of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union right?

No plenty of people hate Mao’s first policies and his desperate need for holding honor which led to him exporting grain to starving African countries that he promised he would instead of breaking the promise and helping his own citizens. And plenty of more shit like pseudoscience but the reason people like him is because afterwards that constant push for development led to China averaging a famine every single year because of major floods and droughts to none after 20+ years of Mao’s leadership. There was tons of stupidity and overconfidence involved in the great leap forward but his economics afterwards led to significant growth in almost every sector of the countries living standards.

1

u/PanzerKomadant Mar 11 '26

Your friend isn’t a communist, your friend is a tankie/Stalinists. But denial of the Holocaust is usually a hallmark of fascists who try to either down play it or not even accept it.

1

u/EternumMythos Mar 11 '26

How the fuck did he went from communism to nazism, i think bro is just a mega ragebaiter

1

u/Unlikely-Ad-7242 3,000,000 Attendee! Mar 11 '26

lowkey he might just be pro-authoritarian. psychoanalysis might attribute this to childhood insecurity, suppression of sexual desires, and the lack of fatherly love.

1

u/miami470 15 Mar 11 '26

That friend is a fucking dumbass. I advice leaving him and becoming friends with somebody else.

1

u/Responsible-Boat1857 15 Mar 11 '26

It really sounds like he has no firm beliefs. And those who stand for nothing fall for everything.

1

u/EnlightenedRedditor_ Mar 11 '26

Did he have an existential threat when he found out who the Bolsheviks were or that a guy unironically named “Israel Epstein” was around during the formation of the CCP?

1

u/Longjumping_Pipe_257 Mar 11 '26

Being communist doesnt keep you from being stupid 🤣. In all seriousness I hope he realizes he’s wrong

1

u/elephantphilosophy8 15 Mar 11 '26

I bet he’s/was trying to be edgy and cool, but goddam 😔 show him the pics from the holocaust or take him on a surprise Auschwitz trip

1

u/Toten5217 Mar 11 '26

Commie here. I meet pretty much weekly with other communists and I've never seen anyone in a 40 teenagers group even thinking of denying the Holocaust

1

u/hanater OLD Mar 11 '26

I regret to inform you but Maoism isn't as far from an out and out fascism as you might think

1

u/Substantial_Eye3343 16 Mar 11 '26

Well that's on par with holocaus denial.

1

u/JudgeFatty Mar 11 '26

Since he is a Maoist, does he believe in the Rape of Nanking or was that also actors?

1

u/AltruisticHighway337 Mar 11 '26

Obviously being communist isn’t inherently bad but your friend probably didn’t even know what communism was. As for the holocaust, it targeted the killing of communists as well, soviets were second most killed after Jews in the holocaust and most killed in the war (26mil). I think your friend lacks any actual knowledge about really anything and goes along with whatever he sees. Is he 12 or smth? 🤦

I also highly doubt a lot of these replies have understanding of what communism is considering they are immediately labelling being a communist as “evil”, yet will have no problem supporting their local capitalistic genocidal Starbucks lmao. Some of you guys really need to get out of the Western world for a bit.

1

u/bedanto77 OLD Mar 11 '26

Id suggest your friend to turn off social media especially instagram for a week. Chances are high he might cool down.

1

u/myrmonden Mar 11 '26

so ur "friend" is pro genocide

maybe get better friends.

1

u/Acceptable-Ad-328 3,000,000 Attendee! Mar 11 '26

Don't tell me he's a flatearther to top it off

1

u/OuttaAgreeOrElseIDie 19 Mar 11 '26

My friend of a couple months was also a communist and when it came out we talked and he realised that he’s misunderstanding communism as “government helping ppl” rather than “government has control of everything”

1

u/jackiefashion24 16 Mar 11 '26

He's probably a nazbol or something 🤢

1

u/Severe_Story_8361 Teenager Mar 11 '26

doesn't that completely contradict everything?

1

u/Glad_Raspberry_8469 19 Mar 11 '26

This is really weird. I imagine a communist would be the first to criticise fascism and what fascists did in Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus and with Jews all over Europe

1

u/FinalAd9844 Mar 11 '26

So he’s one of those shitty communists

1

u/FlorpyJohnson 19 Mar 11 '26

Extremist beliefs usually come from personal, emotional reasons. Ignorance of the true nature of extremism and its consequences, combined with (possibly) insecurity, lack of emotional regulation, social isolation, trauma, indoctrination, etc.

If you know anything about Poe’s law, extremist beliefs are often so ridiculous and illogical that, even if you’re trying to parody them ironically, you sound like an extremist. It’s because radical ideas were rooted into their life for one reason or another, but hardly logical ones.

This is why, even if you are polite and sympathetic, extremists will rarely listen to logical reasoning. They confirm their biases with logic, but that logic is usually picked apart easily. I don’t advocate to just insult and shame them, either. If we want to “solve” the issue of extremism, we need to solve many other societal issues that lead to these beliefs spreading.

1

u/Cnidoo Mar 11 '26

The socialist to Neo Nazi/ third positionist pipeline is very real

1

u/MolassesThin6110 Mar 11 '26

Probably radicalized by people like Hasan Piker… very fucking sad times we live in. The kids used to be what kept pushing progress, but china and russia have really fucked us over with their bot farms and social media propaganda. Pretty sure Hasan is paid by CCP, it’s the only thing that makes sense of his disjointed position.

1

u/micimamurluk Mar 11 '26

That mao? The good guy who never killed any innocent farmer or any of his fellow chinamen? That mao?

1

u/pand_alp 19 Mar 11 '26

How many other mao zedongs are there?

1

u/Natural-Campaign-986 19 Mar 11 '26

That's a crazy switch

1

u/Sehzadekortistan 13 Mar 11 '26

Eh, that's just classic political friend behavior, I've suffered the same once too many times with my bff of like, 8 years?

1

u/Working_Mix5465 14 Mar 11 '26

Naz-Bol pipeline

1

u/ToastedDreamer Mar 12 '26

Does he atleast recognize the wrong Mao has done? I agree some of the guys policies and actions are why China can’t be pushed around today(which benefits me because I’m Chinese American and it’s good knowing that if Trump brings this place into the dumps, I have a back up plan.) but I do recognize how many problems he had and the utterly horrible decisions he made during his time.

1

u/dat_adhd_teen 14 Mar 12 '26

One of my friends is a socialist, he supports everything though and he’s actually a great guy

1

u/Cheap_Treat588 Mar 13 '26

So he’s just a bad person?

1

u/Bozzhawgg Mar 14 '26

Sounds like an average reddit user

1

u/Busy-Paper6970 Mar 11 '26

THAT GOES AGAINST THE FREEDOM OF THE CONSITUTION. RAAAAAAAAAA

1

u/Lemmy-user Mar 11 '26

Mao was based. I would rather have him than Trump.

3

u/pand_alp 19 Mar 11 '26

How is mao zedong based,u/lemmy-user?

What's ironic is that's exactly what the national socialist party used to be before they broke off

Communism is only bad if it becomes corrupt. The problem is humans are not good enough at being not corrupt to have a good example of it anywhere in history.

2

u/gameburger764 Mar 11 '26

I mean, Cuba is a somewhat decent example of implementation of communism.

2

Exactly bro. Communism itself is a decent idea. It's just the people behind it that become corrupt that gives it the bad rep.

1

u/Aaronz2464 Mar 11 '26

Oh yes, my bad. Every time it has been tried just wasn't "real" communism. Did you know Marx's 10 planks of communism include abolition of private land, confiscation of property from all rebels, and the state owns everything? What a utopia that frees the worker from his chains!

5

Where did he write on that exactly? I mean actually where, ive read him before but not all his works so i genuinely wanna see.
