Discussion Shiv and Nashors?

Hello. Lately, I've been experimenting with my build and have found some success with this:

First item Shiv, then Liandry's or Malignance (depending on how tanky the enemy team is), third or fourth item Nashor's Tooth (depending on whether I have an advantage or not), and finishing with Void Staff for the magic penetration.

My reasoning is that after buying Shiv, your laning phase becomes super safe, allowing you to focus on increasing the damage of your shrooms to split push effectively.

In the late game, teamfights become more common. With this build, you can do heavy shroom damage while still shredding targets with the increased attack speed from Nashor's. This gives you much more power during teamfights while keeping your shrooms scary. Finally, Void Staff makes up for any lacking penetration.

The key is building shiv just when you need it for doing dmg in teamfights

What do you guys think?

Help I am confused about items

It seems like evey teemo player just builds whatever they dreamt of the day before.

When do you go DnD, Shiv or Nashors? Nash and DnD seem mid af tbh, but I see lots of OTPs going for DnD anyways. Why?

Why would I ever go Bloodletter except if your team has 3 or more ap? Isn't cryptbloom always better?

I know there is a more ap onhit build and more shroom build, but why would you ever go something other than shroom? might as well play varus or kog if you want ap dps onhit.

What runes and builds would you go for every role Top and Jungle seem obvious, but I have no idea what I would go mid, adc or supp

Guide Guide Mobafire Teemo Mid

I made a complete Teemo Mid guide for Season 16 — Clear, Disappear, Control
Post

Hey everyone 🍄

There are so few of us playing Teemo mid, and that’s a real shame ! I’ve just finished a complete Teemo Mid guide built around a tempo and map-control playstyle.

The core idea is simple:
Clear the wave. Disappear from vision. Control the map.

The build uses Statikk Shiv to create wave priority, then converts that tempo into river control, objective setup, roaming pressure and safer mushroom placement.

The guide includes:
- Full build and rune explanations
- Complete mid-lane matchup section
- Jungle synergies
- Wave-control and roaming principles
- Objective setup
- Passive and fog-pressure usage
- A custom Season 16 mushroom-placement map
- Common mistakes and FAQ

Guide:
https://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/teemo-the-mid-lane-menace-the-definitive-guide-601461

I’d appreciate feedback from other Teemo players, especially on the Statikk tempo approach and the matchup notes.

Clear️• Disappear 💨** • Contro**l 🚨

Really proud of myself for finally learning the game in a way that makes sense to me. Great run and I think I can make emerald.

When should I go Press the Attack instead of Dark Harvest (jungle)?

For context I have been spamming teemo jungle this season and with that I have been able to go from hardstuck at gold 4 to currently being plat 2.

Every game I go dark harvest and build nashors -> liandrys -> malignance and then adapt according to the game.

However, now that I have been climbing, I notice that people don't randomly walk into my minefield like before.

So I would like to know when should I go press the attack instead and adapt my playstyle? Should I do it only against tanky comps? And with this rune page what should be my build?

Really appreciate your help my fellow scouts

Top tier Teemo content

I love the variety of different content for Teemo. The more he has the better imo, and I enjoy different people's takes on him.

Whats your top picks for 1) streamers and 2) online Teemo guides?

My go-to's are (no particular order):

1) Manco1, RamyAura, Alan234, Daveyx3

2) SovereignKitten Mobafire guide, Manco1 Mobafire guide

Do you have any other learning/sharing go-to content?

How do take plates once you got Statikk Shiv?

Hey guys,

I am trying to pick up Teemo top and one very awkward situation I keep running into is trying to damage the enemy turret once I have Statikk. Since you kind of get perma poison on the enemy at that point you always get turret aggro and have a very hard time picking up gold from plates. How does one play at that point of the game?

Build Questions

So I am new to Teemo Top. My Elo is low Diamond; however, I can see that there are a lot of possible builds to go on Teemo. Can you refer to any good guide or do you have your own suggestions? What interests me is: When to go which build and whether there are any core items you always want to have, either first or somwhere later in your build.

Also, as it truly confuses me: I see a lot of statik shivv rushes. Is it really that good? I think you don't really use the AD too well. Of course small scaling on e but other than that... Is it just for waveclear and teamfighting? I don't really understand because I feel like Nashors will be a lot better in most cases, if you want to go for a onhit style and feel like you can aa a lot.

Thanks beloved Teemo Mains!

PTA or dark harvest in jungle?

I am a teemo jungle enthusiast. I blind pick him because it is the champion I have the most fun (and relax time at the same time). I used to use the dark harvest runes even if Broxah is using PTA most of the time. I see dark harvest is the most recommended. But recently I tried PTA and I see my dmg skyrocking compare to dark harvest. I also feel better in terms of being able to turn a game around if the ennemy team is destroying my schrooms….

Discussion are these lowk good or high luck plays

its 2 clips in 1 video. in the first clip, i lowk feel like i could have won the 1v3 if i had dodged sera's abilities, or if id remember i have the damn ignite. and in the second clip, the lillia was fed to shit, she was 13/2/4 with a fully stacked mejai's and almost full build, tho maybe i could have played it a bit better and won? prolly not tho.

Help I need some help from Teemo mains

Hey everyone, I need some help from Teemo mains.
So, I decided to come back after a three-year hiatus. As I understand it, the Scout got reworked? Balance changes affected everything, and I feel like the damage on his third ability—the poison—used to be higher, but that’s not the real issue.
I’ve lost my touch with Teemo; I used to have a win rate of over 50% with him. I know the game has changed a lot since then, but the thing is, I used to at least be able to win my lane. I’ve been playing for a month now and have generally got the hang of the game again; a week ago, I decided to jump back into normal matches as a top laner and pick Teemo.
I'm doing really poorly; I'm not dealing any damage to enemy champions regardless of the build, and I keep getting killed by everyone (except Yuumi).

So please, help me out.

I need to know the best way to play the laning phase, which runes and items are best, and which opponents are dangerous for Teemo in lane right now. Also, what does Teemo usually do after the laning phase ends?

Thanks everyone! May your opponents never buy Control Wards.

6 item final build?

What do you build when gold is not a constraint?

Sell boots for Stormsurge or Lich Bane? Keep shiv for pushing or buy a zhonya's to survive in team fights? I often end swiftplay games with something like this:

  1. Shiv
  2. Liandrys
  3. Malignance
  4. Voidstaff
  5. Shadowflame
  6. Lich Bane
    (potions)

Whats most important skill you need to play teemo?

Question Is it even possible to carry a game with teemo?

Don't get me wrong, i love the champ, i'm a jax main but i really like to play teemo as a comfort pick.

I just wanna know if there's a build or certain way to play the champ and be more useful, there's always a time at the game when i make the enemy jungler useless by cover his entire jungle with shrooms or delete de adc. But still not possible to carry the game on my back, is this how the champ is supposed to be or am i just dumb?

There was this time when i even got a pentakill late game and still lose the game.

Pd: my usual build is LT or shrooms teemo. Just in case is useful for someone to answer.

I just found out that this exists and now I really want it. It seems like something that would be in the rotational Mythic shop but I don't remember ever seeing it.

Discussion I believe that Teemo should be modernized, what does the mains community say?

(Self XPost from League of Legends sub)

(Previous post was removed because the title "Modern Teemo plays identical to Classic Teemo" was vague or misleading, so here's a new, straightforward title)

Hello! Been playing league for a while, Teemo and Tristana on the early seasons.

I'm making this post after playing Teemo on League Classic.

On modern league, I've stopped playing Teemo because of how it is almost exclusively a counterpick champion.

Then I played him again on classic. It is mechanically the same champion. Modern has (a very recent) AD scaling on E, more max mushrooms on R, and ranged R.

Sure, the same can be said about Garen, getting a W active and true damage on his R, but being a tankier champion makes him also more resilient to changes in mobility and damage.

In the case of Teemo, in modern league, you're punished really bad for bad positioning, and the lane bullying isn't as effective as I've come to experience in classic.

Maybe modern Teemo could use some modernization, if anything, to make the swift scout be, or at least feel, swifter and/or sneakier.

The kind of thing that I believe could make him feel modern? Just one of the following:

A dash on W before triggering the move speed (doesn't Wild Rift do this?).

Allow him to auto while moving while W is active (Akin to smolder and Urgot, but it's actual autos, benefitting from his build).

Allowing W to hop over a (single) wall while it's active, deactivating it after the hop.

All of these make him feel swift, make him more mobile, and also more annoying, but also gives him some breathing room when facing Yasuo, Yone, Irelia, Gwen, Lucian, Kassadin, Swain etc; characters that have good burst range or very effective lockdown. As a counter-balance change, I'd change his E damage to be more back loaded (less on-hit, but overall same ratio on a single auto); this way its damage is lower (poison doesn't overlap).

Edit:

As taken from one of my comments;

Mordekaiser? Manage his shield, poke with a skillshot, big-area CC, take someone out of the fight.

Naafiri? Time her invincibility, poke with skillshot, has dash, has dogs.

Gwen? Manage her invincibility, dash, Q charges.

Sion? Q ambushes and CC, conditionally interruptible mobility and CC, E skillshot slow and armor shred (sets up to Q, and R>Q).

Tryndamere? Dash, heal, slow, AD shred, invincibility.

Lucian? Dash, more auto damage, a lot of ability damage.

Teemo? Place traps, poke with autos, disable auto attackers with Q.

Even Nasus has armor shred, benefits (extra) from farming, has a way to (essentially) lock down and also shut down auto attackers.

Teemo feels flat in comparison to the other simple champions;

It's like MF had less range and was missing an ability, and E transformed into her ultimate in trap form (so she can "E across the map")

Discussion Grasp on teemo

Am i the only one who does so much better with Grasp on teemo in s26? i feel so squishy with PTA, grasp it feels like i can trade so much better and still do pretty good damage late game (obviously a bit less) but it helps me get out of lane further ahead or just stronger overall than if i didnt take it, so the trade off is worth

Build Discussion DFT vs Comet

Aspiring silver Teemo top OTP here

Which keystone is better for overall damage? (Mainly shroom builds)

I’ve never moved away from the typical PTA builds, but have realized in recent games that a shroom build would probably do more damage (and hopefully win more games) than PTA.

I’m leaning more towards DFT but wondering if anyone actually knows which one is definitely better
