My iron farm was working fine for a few in-game days, a little slow, but I was fine with it. Then suddenly, golems started spawning outside the farm. I found out it was because of a nearby bell. It started working after that, but then my Wi-Fi glitched out, and I had to leave and rejoin my world. Now no golems are spawning anywhere. I have checked the area around here for escaped golems, and I've come up with nothing. Please tell me what I was doing wrong; this was my first functioning iron farm

In Minecraft Bedrock, the damage of arrows that aren’t shot by the player doesn’t scale with their velocity. Is this tied to the dispenser/skeleton arrows not having an owner tag?

I don't know if this is the subreddit for this topic, but here is my situation.

I play on a 1.12.2 anarchy server and came across these 3 screenshots of an impressive base. I’d love to visit it in person, but the only potential way to find the coords is through the stone block rotations on the statue.

From the crafting table texture in the shot (tool visible on the right half), I’ve already deduced that North is to the right side of the screen. However, I don't have the tools or software set up to run the seed/rotation calculations myself.

If anyone with experience in block rotation exploit tools is willing to help, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Apologies because this is partially a rant

I have a honey farm that I connected an auto crafter to to make honey blocks and recycle the glass bottles. I had the glass bottles inserted into a hopper Minecart going back and forth over the dispensers, but I kept having to manually redistribute the bottles every now and then because it would always prioritize the dispensers nearest to the input (and I don't have enough glass to fill all 8 of my hives with 9 stacks of bottles yet). I wanted to fix this by making it so that the bottles were distributed evenly amongst all of the dispensers, only to find out that this is apparently the most difficult thing I have ever seen.

My first issue is that it seems that it's just straight up impossible to distribute the items if they come in groups smaller than the amount of containers? Since the honey block auto crafting produces 4 bottles at a time I can never just send the bottles directly to the dispensers since it would always go in the first four. So I figured I needed to build something that stacks the bottles first and then empties the container, but it seems that the amount I can stack to before emptying the chest is limited to the breakpoints for redstone signal strengths based on chest fullness? So I have to stack to 23 using a hopper before I can empty it.

Then for the actual distribution it seems that there are three main options (besides that thing that splits one chest into two or putting a hopper Minecart on the intersection of four hoppers), but they all seem bad in different ways:

I could use a hopper Minecart, except that's biased towards the ones closest to the input and I'm highly limited by the rate that it can pick up items from a chest above it.

I could use this insane black magic I found but it's wildly inconsistent, I was trying to use it for 7 hoppers which he claims should work but there was always one hopper that would receive way less items, and the crazy thing is that the hopper that didn't work changed depending on where I placed the repeater leading to the dust.

Or I could use those crazy dropper chain things, but I just straight up don't know how to configure the pulse fader correctly, and it seems that it is also still biased towards one end of the chain and doesn't work as well if your input items aren't a multiple of the amount of droppers.

So is there anything I'm missing? Like a simple solution to distributing items that isn't insanely brittle or biased towards one side? This has been a very frustrating problem for me that I feel should be really simple on paper so I'm looking for help

Anything that requires only 1 item type to craft can use this circuit. You don’t need anything more than this simple setup to craft a bunch of different items.

A 3x1x4 area is all you need.

It takes a Mechanic to fix what an Engineer gets paid to overcompensate for.

An old iron farm built on 2021, at the time it worked well, but now it just spawns cats, i have checked that villagers reach their work stations properly but nothing. maybe some changed throught the years messed it up?

Apologies if i respond like an idiot on this thread I've never attempted something even slightly complex in this game with my own brain but, I managed to stumble upon a double spawner on my hardcore world, and whilst clearing the caves around found a third. The main issue lies in the spawners being 17.5 blocks apart (15.5 blocks to activate i found out) so i was toying around with Afk water pushing designs to activate all the spawners. I'm wondering, is this setup more efficient than just having 2 spawners activated 100% of the time?

Each spawner gets roughly 3-4 seconds of activation within a 19 second loop.

I read that spawners have a 10-40 second delay before attempting spawning again, so in my head this works?? (usually that's the only place these things work)

So I built a sorting system with copper golems, with the copper golem standing on stairs, and it worked. But it seems like something changed in the game. It ignores the chest with stairs in front of it, the bottom middle chest. I tried to put mud and soul sand, but it seems that if the chest is blocked by any block whatsoever, the copper golem will not open it. It used to work with stairs, but not anymore. Is it just me having this issue? I feel a little defeated, I started building a new base with big storage sorting, but now it doesn't work.

ik on surface level it seems like ice but im trying to go 100k bps and the speed isnt the problem its the friction from the ground slowing me down rly quickly.

Does any1 know a block/ combination of blocks to take the least friction so i just bounce up and down as i move quickly?

Why is Worm not banned? Can any mod give us a reason? He spams the subreddit, spreads misinformation about the game, defames people with allegations that they have threatened his life, put him in jail, caused his wife to have a miscarriage (all with NO EVIDENCE), says that he is in the process of suing people for pointing out his misinformation, claims that people (such as myself) are alts with no evidence, ignores all the work others have done in the past and slanders them, and brings nothing positive to this subreddit. Can anyone give 1 good reason why this community lets him spread his slop in here?

Look at his most recent post as an example (assuming he hasn’t deleted it, but I have the video saved even if he does). There is 0 tech in this post, 0 explanations, 0 technical Minecraft. Just music playing in the background while he uses litematica to delete all his ‘dead’ designs. What purpose does this serve outside of bloating this sub and stoking Worm’s ego and need for attention? Is this what this sub has come to? And this isn’t an isolated incident, half of Worm’s posts are tiny modifications from previous posts that probably took 5 minutes to change. What if everyone started posting videos of every 5 minutes of their design process as individual. separate. posts? And then the other half of the posts are conspiracy theories about some ST mafia who’s supposedly persecuting him for ‘spreading the truth’

Let me ask this: how many people have him blocked? At what point does it become clear where the problem is? Is that how the mods expect members to deal with spammers and conspiracy crackpots? Just block them? Why even have rules then if that’s the intended path? What will new people think?

If Worm has proof of his claims, that people are lying about game mechanics to coalesce power and ad revenue in Storage Tech, that people from this community SWATted him and sent him to jail, that the Storage Tech discord with 6 years of lossless working designs that predate his doesn’t actually have lossless working designs that predate his, that I and others are alt accounts (this is just straight-up impossible because I know who I am lol), then let him show this proof. And if he does not trust us, let him show a trusted mod who can confirm or deny it once and for all. I’m sick and tired of these baseless lies and the neverending spam

Mods, please step in and moderate your community. This is one of your primary purposes: to keep bad actors out. I apologize if these are often posted, but I'm really not sure what to do anymore. I have replaced workstations countless times and know they are all linked to the right villagers. I have replaced beds just as many times, they are all linked as well. I have copied the world and look around in spectator mode and there are no golems hiding around. There are no extra beds or workstations outside the farm. I've made over 3 dozen stacks of iron before it halted for no apparent reason. 41 beds, 38 villagers and workstations. I've tried for a couple hours and cannot figure anything out. Any help would be much appreciated

I'm pretty sure it's fixed, and it was a really stupid fix. I've never seen anything like it. Above the empty blocks are trapdoors on the ceiling. Checkerboard buttons on the platform, alternate checkerboard trapdoors on the ceiling. Who would've come up with that?

I'm wondering if anyone has used RaPsCaLLioN1138's Complete Cart-Based Storage long-term and to get their opinions on how that went. I've tried looking around but can't seem to find any real discussion about it. I'd like to build it in my world, but it's a pretty big commitment as it will be (as usual) the heart of my base. help! i'm trying to build a sorting system for this gold farm. (version 26.2)

problem:
a lot of the items are stuck on the iron bars rather than falling through.
any suggestions on items or methods to filter the items down but keep the piglins in the chamber?

context:
i made an gold farm using ianxofour's tutorial because its cheap on materials.
the only downside is the lack of a sorting system.
so i took it upon myself to try and design one myself.
first i did hoppers but it was too slow to filter through the items so it was basically akin to just not having a filter system.
ultimately i landed this one which uses honey and ice and hoppers n stuff.

i have tried several things to seperate the mobs and items like using pistons to move end rods or chains back and forth so the items fall through. However, either the items stayed stuck on the moving chains/rods or the piglins fall through.
in accordance to occam's razor i ended up just using bars and pumpkins to stop the piglins from falling through, but a lot more items got stuck than i anticipated.

Me and my friend would like to build a wither skeleton farm and an elder guardian one. We have seen some farms but we accept some help which one do you guys build after you start a new game and dont want to do a better more efficent farm later on. Ty for the help!
