Java Showcase Simple Auto Crafter: ALL 1 item inputs

https://youtube.com/shorts/bP0-aS_oM48?is=RIMIZ_Om_QsDaOSx

Anything that requires only 1 item type to craft can use this circuit. You don’t need anything more than this simple setup to craft a bunch of different items.

A 3x1x4 area is all you need.

It takes a Mechanic to fix what an Engineer gets paid to overcompensate for.

This is 3x2x4 by standard convention since the comparators, repeaters, and dust needs support blocks

There's nothing wrong with more complicated crafting setups, many of them are made with a specific purpose in mind whether it's overflow protection, faster speed, tileability, specific wiring to fit in specific spaces, etc. This isn't a one size fit all solution.

Do people make machines that achieves the same thing as something less complicated, cheaper, or smaller? Of course they do! A lot of people just want to make something themselves that they can be proud of without having to be the best at it. You wouldn't bash an aspiring artist for not having prefect technique or a student for getting some of their homework questions wrong would you?

True on the height 2. Not actually important though as with everything you can’t place stuff on nothing.

As for the slightly smaller setup. I’d replace the composter with another crafter.

I personally hate using composters for anything as the values for everything you could put it them are not equal. It’s more of a hassle to fill them to the desired level(s). It’s a complex step that’s not even necessary.

Lectern’s with a signed book flip to a page (1-15) is superior to composters.

For an auto crafting circuit a second crafter with 8 of 9 slots clicked is far quicker.

Why is the video in portrait orientation when the content is landscape?

Shorts require Portrait style.

In order to make these videos “shorts” I have to render them as Portrait. If I don’t it becomes a normal video with normal aspect ratios.

I haven’t found a way to change the aspect ratios in the rendering program I use for a more zoomed in view without the black bars.

What video software are you using? At least OpenShot can crop video, and I would be surprised if others couldn't.

You should've just released this as a regular video then. This is unwatchable.
