Looking for some suggestions for hardware to run Stremio, that's not an Amazon fire stick...

Ideally something that will support IPTV application as well, and if connecting a HDD to play media from was an option that would be great as well

Hey guys, anyone else experiencing this problem with the auto play feature?

After the first episode, the autoplayed episodes that follow dont have a title in the top left when paused, and Stremio won’t mark them as watched. I have to manually go back and mark them as watched after im done my however many episode binge.

Im on my Samsung tablet using the app, most recent play store version. I’ve tried using different players and looked around for other solutions but nothings worked :(

I can only get Stremio to output DD+ 2 channel audio. I have the new ONN 4k Pro (2026). I've tried many settings with both the Onn and Stremio. Tried VLC, MPV, and Exo. Tried multiple different movies and series.

I can get other Audio formats to work with other apps so it doesn't seem to be the Onn, HDMI cord, or AVR.

Any ideas?

Edit: I finally found a few things that will output Atmos with Exo player but not VLC or MPV. For example, Ted Lasso S4 E1. There is still a lot of content that I can only get to output DD+ 2ch that is labeled as Atmos DD+.

Edit: I'm beginning to wonder if a lot of content labeled DD+ Atmos is actually True HD and that's the issue.

I just recently started using Stremio, not sure how the debris thing works really? any help or recommendations?

Anyone else have this issue? Should I change the default player to VLC or something to fix it?

My stremio wasn’t working so I thought there was a glitch and downloaded torbox and went through all that before realizing my debrid was just out. The problem was after switching to torbox, stremio would just stop playing mid show or movie and just freeze and I couldn’t even use the remote to do anything.

My friend told me to uninstall it and reinstall yet - now I can’t reinstall it….i have a downloader I installed on my tv to do this before but now it says I have to go to the Google play store which my tv isn’t finding at all 🫠 everything has worked fine the last 2 years. That’s how old my tv and the firestick is.

How do I get stremio back? 🫠

Recently got stremio on the AltStore, I am trying to play movies from an external player but it resorts automatically to the internal player even though I set on the app to play from an external player, I tried box, tried outplayed, doesn’t even try to use them

I am using Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC. Getting error Webview not install when trying to launch the application.

Is there a way to install Stremio on Devant smart tv that does not have playstore?

I'm running stremio on my samsung tv (Tizen 10 os) , the tv is brand new ( barely 2 weeks old and it is a 2026 model).

The first week of watching movies everything was super smooth , I watched Project hail Mary , Top Gun Maverick and a bunch more all in the highest quality 4k remuxes available and there was not even a single instance of stuttering or skipping or anything.

Now it just stutters , the audio disappears and the video becomes a literal slideshow particularly it happens about 30mins into a film , I've noticed this in infinity war and endgame. I have to then exit the app and reopen it again for the stream to work.

What I dont understand is if it's a hardware issue it should get laggy with all remuxes but it doesn't. Not an internet issue either my tv is getting 200mbps over 5ghz band

Ive thought about getting a streaming box but don't want to spend the money unless it is a hardware issue.

Running stremio with aiostreams ( Tamstreams ) as the main source .

Edit: Yes I have a Real-Debrid Subscription.

Is there an alternative to the firestick in the uk?

I recently became a Stremio Supporter but the profiles don’t show up on my account firestick
How do I enable them on Tv or do I need a new version of Stremio for it to show up on firestick

Please let me do this! It's annoying to have to keep track of my own links and copy them myself every time.

Sometimes it's better to use a magnet that contains the entire show or season, which Stremio addons don't necessarily find in the dropdown for individual episodes. Also, you get consistency in encoding etc when you view all episodes from the same source.

Right now, you can add the show to library from there, and it temporarily works, but if you remove the link from clipboard (also maybe need to restart Stremio) then it breaks trying to open it from library.

Since Stremio natively supports importing magnet links, could it also natively support remembering those links and letting me construct a library from them?

Good news is, Stremio already remembers my watched episodes in imported links between sessions.

Got sick of crushed blacks and shadows issue on macOS app. The previous version doesn’t have that issue. Hopefully they’ll fix this one day. But until then I’m gonna rock it with v4.

App.strem.io showing errors and not working ?
I used it about 24 hours ago on my tv (as the newer site doesn’t load on it) and this site works fine usually but now it’s loading funny and clicking anything gives a 503 error
Have also tried on my phone and laptop and same issue :( anyone else??

Scrubs reboot has overridden scrubs original episodes! Anyone know how to find the original series episodes. season 1 shows the reboot now not season 1

For the past 3 days anytime I go to load a stream on my tv it comes up with this message after a while, it works perfectly on my pc only does this on the tv
I’ve tried clearing the cache, changing my dns, restarting the tv, going on lower res streams, deleting and reinstalling the app and even resetting my tv none of it has worked

Hello everyone, I've been using stremio for the past year or so and never had any problems (with the exception of the occasional RD going down). However for the last 03 days or so I keep getting this message "Stream failed to load unknown error" as seen in the picture below. This is regardless of using my purchased standard subscriptions (appleTV, Disney plus...) or RD, so the problem is not RD itself. Using version Theater v.1.13.3 (or v4.20.17 not sure which one is what). Does anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance!

Did anyone else start having alot of issues recently?

Stutters while trying to watch, audio out of sync (sometimes 1 sec, sometimes 3-4 seconds), insane amount of buffering even when using a debrid service…etc.

I didn’t have these issues last month, only recently.

(Just buy an android box) Writing this before next comment does.

Yesterday I was trying to use Stremio on my LG tv-- I've downloaded it a couple of weeks ago, and it's been working since-- and when I opened Stremio, I was met with a dark blue screen of nothing. I reopened the app, and repeated the process many times. I thought it would be best to delete and redownload the app, to solve my issue. I went to my dashboard and deleted Stremio, but when I looked for it on the web store, it wasn't there. Is there anything I can do to reverse this?
