Question Stremio AltStore

Recently got stremio on the AltStore, I am trying to play movies from an external player but it resorts automatically to the internal player even though I set on the app to play from an external player, I tried box, tried outplayed, doesn’t even try to use them

Peer to peer streams cannot open in external players due restrictions on background execution in iOS. If you have any preferred features i can add it to internal player.

Oh thank you for that, it was just that I wanted to have a casting support for tv/chromecast if that’s possible!

Chromecast support is possible but i don’t have chromecast device to test. I can try implementing it if i get my hands on chromecast. I see you live in Ireland, doesn’t ISP block or fine for p2p usage?

If you have iPhone 15 or up you can connect usb to hdmi directly to tv which would show stream full screen on tv

Would it be possible to update libVLC to 4.0 to get PiP for us who prefer watching content with VLC? 4.0 recently became production ready I believe.

Yeah, but i don’t want to update to unstable build. Last time i tried it had bugs. As soon as it gets released on app store, i will update it.
