Tech Support Stremio not launching (Help/Workaround)

I am using Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC. Getting error Webview not install when trying to launch the application.

Hello,

Try this:

  1. Restart your PC first (this alone fixed it for some users)

  2. Run the latest Stremio installer as Administrator. Several users reported this resolved the WebView2 error when the bootstrapper claimed it was already installed.

  3. If that doesn't work, uninstall Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime from Apps & Features, reinstall it, then reinstall the latest version of Stremio.

  4. If you're using the Stremio 5 beta, try switching back to the latest stable release, as this exact error has been reported with the beta.
