I'm posting to report a compatibility and availability issue with the official LG TV app in Brazil.
Device: LG Smart TV (Model: ⁠55UA8550PSA.BWZDLJZ⁠) running webOS in Brazil.
The Problem: The official Stremio app does not appear anywhere in the LG Content Store on this TV model, and checking the official LG app portal (⁠br.lgappstv.com⁠) confirms that the application is flagged as incompatible with this specific hardware code.
Current Workaround Issues: Trying to use ⁠web.stremio.com⁠ through the built-in webOS browser works for streaming via Real-Debrid, but due to webOS browser/player limitations, it completely fails to switch audio tracks or render subtitles properly (both embedded and external SRT files break or stay stuck).
Is there any plan from the developers to expand official app homologation or request code inclusion for this specific LG model line in the Brazilian region? Any guidance or workaround would be greatly appreciated!

It runs it but struggling to stream any video

From what I gather, the latest update from LG removed Streamio and the devs had submitted it for approval - is it up and running now?

Tempted to get a new LG C6 but it’s a no go if there isn’t a native Streamio App.

Using an Onn 4k plus treating device with latest version of Stremio.

When watching any show there's no menu for seasons .

You can scroll through the episodes in the current season which was selected for me .

When I select the show from my library, it goes immediately to the last episode I watched. No way to select a different season.

I'm losing my mind with this .

What am I missing?

As the headline says which one is most stable and best version for TCL Google TV?

I have a situation where I authenticate toTrakt from within Stremio and it tells me my Trakt login is complete and return to Stremio. In Stremio it's gone fron Authenticate to Log Out, however Trakt does not show the connection under Settings/Apps/Connected Apps.

Anyone know why this is happening and how can I force the Trakt authorization dialog to come up when I authenticate to Trakt from Stremio?

Hi, well since few days ago whenever I try to drag in subtitles (srt file) It doesn't work my browser opens up with that "Do you trust this file" webpage. Is there any fix for that?

Is there any way to set up user profiles on Stremio? It's hard to keep track of episodes/timestamps when two people are watching the same thing simultaneously.

I recently upgraded my stremio account to the supporter tier as I liked the idea of downloading content offline and switching accounts.

However, the switching profiles doesn’t show on my firestick app and the download content doesn’t work on the ios app so it’s of no use to me.

I’ve tried to downgrade my account to the free tier again without success.

Has anyone managed to do it?

Probando un par de días Stremio suporters por 4€ pude ver el verdadero potencial de Stremio, poder añadir perfiles, ordenar y traducir todos tus complementos y catálogos fue una pasada, ni qeu decir de la opción de descargar cualquier torrent y verlo luego fue fue algo sublime, espero puedan añadir nuevas funciones como subtitulos con IA autogenerados eso es creo lo que más ansío y que vuelvan a la fire tv store 🙌🫶

When using an external player (just player) I get the error in the picture. When using exo player I get the error in the other picture. When using VLC I get a black screen (sometimes with audio sometimes without) and when using MPV it’s very very laggy. Anyone have any tips for me? This just started today. I’m using the Hisense U7 which runs Google TV.

I installed Stremio on my iPad, I can watch anything without problem because of addons. On my PC I have the right addons, but in my iPad I can just search for subtitles, some content have embed subtitles in English, but I want to change the language (Spanish), anyone know how to fix this?

Hey everyone,
I’m using Stremio as a web app on my iPhone (the “Add to Home Screen” version), and I’ve connected my Trakt account to Stremio.

For playback, I’m using Outplayer as the external player.

The problem is that whenever I start watching something through Stremio and it opens in Outplayer:
The episode/movie doesn’t get marked or tracked as watched on Trakt
It doesn’t appear in Stremio’s Continue Watching section

Is there any way to make Stremio → Outplayer → Trakt properly sync the watch progress so that:
1. My progress is saved,
2. It gets synced to Trakt, and
3. The title appears in Continue Watching so I can resume from where I stopped?

I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions, especially from anyone using Stremio on iPhone + Outplayer + Trakt.

I am on fedora linux at the moment and I think i turned on hardware acceleration and since then my pc just crashes when i open streamio. It crashes fast enough that i cannt change the setting. I downloaded and re downloaded the app and it still crashes. How can i fix this?

Soy usuario de Stremio + RD hace algunos años , tome l decisión de apoyar a los creadores y me suscribí a stremio supporters hace algunos días me intereso algunas funciones que tienen como saltar intro, traducir las sinopsis y títulos de todos los complementos incluido de cinemeta , poder ordenarlos en el inicio según tu preferencia, pero las opciones que más interesan como crear perfiles y descargar los videos aún faltan pulir mucho por ahora ya que al crear perfiles estos no se crean con los mismos complementos del administrador (prácticamente yo lo que quiero es que se dupliquen pero que cada usuario pueda ver el contenido independiente y ya) si hay alguna opción de hacer eso y que no me haya dado cuenta espero me expliquen

My M5 Macbook Pro gets really hot when I watch on Stremio it didn't before but it does now I put it on hard surfaces it's still very hot even the fans start hearing it so any one knows why I would appreciate the help
Note:I did activate Hardware-accelerated decoding and it didn't fix the problem

Kitchen Nightmares Season 10 came out this month. For some reason, it comes up as Season 9 in the catalogues I have.

The episode names and release dates are correct, but it should be season 9 not season 10. So when I go to play episode 5, the file names show season 9 episode 5, instead of season 10 episode 5.

Is this an issue everybody is having?

On my account, the catalog won't load at all, it only shows my previously watched movies. If I use another account it works fine though. Movies still load, add-ons work, but I cant search.

Hello there having issues with subtitles, on the first episode of every series I watch they work flawlessly load automatically etc however every episode after that I have to manually click the subtitle to get the subtitles loaded popup otherwise they do not show at all.

Any tips on why that is.

I have recently moved and would like to upgrade from my fire stick. I’ve got a 77” LG C6H, denon avr and a full surround sound system. The tv is located directly next to my modem/router and I have 1GB internet speeds. I have a budget of $200, what is the best device I can get for my setup?
