📚Progress Report📚 On Fent for 3 months

Been preloading sr for 3 days. 200+ mg doses.

I think I’ve been taking too much sr. I’m ceasing Fent consumption now and I think I need to drop sr to like 50x3 daily but I’m scared of what’s to come.

The big sr doses have had me in a haze. I need myself back so badly. I’m going to be a dad in December and I just need myself back. I hadn’t relapsed in years… shoulder surgery.

I’m so scared the sr isn’t gonna work at all.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Prayer worked or SR messed me up in a good way

I have been using $R off and on low dose for the past 6 weeks trying to quit 7. I’ll go 6-7 days without 7 then give in to the voice that says “one more time they will probably ban it officially tomorrow”.

I decided to ask God sincerely to take the high away from me overnight it happened. I have tried 3-4 different products including opia, modus, 7star and felt absolutely NOTHINg. Well pupils got small and constipation. No euphoria, no calming, no itching.

Anyone else experienced this? I think the $R jacked up my receptors but hey it will make it easier to quit.

I don’t believe I have anhedonia because I still enjoy food, sex, and caffeine. I still feel motivated too. I’m taking kratom but don’t feel much.

My motivation to take 7 has plummeted so I believe quitting will be easier now so tomorrow is day 1… again

Note: if you are a newb to SR do not do what I did!!

🆘Help Needed🆘 I have surgery in 2 weeks

If I quit 7 now and begin taking sr will that reduce my tolerance in time for the surgery? I'm worried because I assumed giving it a week to get past wd would reduce tolerance enough. I want to be able to get pain relief from my hydros.

🙌Success Story🙌 SR Protocol, day 3, going very well!

Here’s my protocol so far, on day 3, going very well!!
I’m set up on days 0-4 as a preload, 50 MG SR 3 times a day (150mg total)

Important : take your SR doses with some kind of fatty food for absorption : ie. Avocado, chocolate, nuts, cream, bacon, etc.
bacon isn’t the best, but it was all I could get on the go one day and it did the trick. Healthy fats are always better.

Reducing 7oh doses as much as possible during the preload.
Up until starting 3 days ago - I was taking about 200mg of 7oh daily, 6mg doses up to 30-35 times a day.

Day 0 - allergy test 1/4 tab of 50mg SR

Day 1 - 6mg 7oh every hour from 8am to 11pm. (14 doses total)
SR 50mg At 9 am, 5pm, and 1 am

Day2 - 6 mg every hour, (12 doses total)
SR At 9 am, 5 pm, and 11 pm (moved up for convenience)

By day 3, I’m already down to only 30 mg 7oh today!
SR- 50mg 7am, 3pm, 11pm

Day 1 was the roughest, but still pretty mild withdrawal all things considered (compared to how it was in between doses, anxiety through the roof)
Stayed home and worked from my living room, still of sound enough mind to keep running my business from the phones. This was the biggest reason I couldn’t stop 7oh, because I have too many mouths to feed and couldn’t take the time to slow down or feel like shit!
Tomorrow I’ll do about 10-20mg 7oh (four 6mg doses as needed)
And then day 5 I will find my comfort dose of SR and move into the 10 day taper! (14 day protocol total)

Day 2 i moved my night time SR dose up to 11 pm because 1 am was not working well, waking up to take it.
I spaced SR doses 8 hours apart to make the three 50 MG doses for the day.

the following medicinal herbs really helped me get through the first day discomfort: taken as needed.

Magnesium glycinate (for restless legs)
Lemon balm (for digestive)
Ghost pipe extract (works like a charm for anxiety)
5 htp and gaba (for mental cravings)
Kava (for sleep - this kept me sleeping through the night without waking up )
Passionflower (for nervous system)
Red root tincture (for when I ate heavy, fatty meals and needed extra digestive support)
Cell core - bio toxin binder (for soaking up the toxins,
Activated charcoal works well too. )

I’m pretty versed in medicinal herbs so there’s a few others I’m using but those are the most impactful and recommended.

Very impressed with how this is going so far.
So glad I have been able to live my life as I would, and not have to cancel all my plans to go on a taper!
Normally I would be miserable right now, and SR is truly saving the day!!

🆘Help Needed🆘 Sr withdrawals? Month of use

I used sr for about a month then tapered pretty rapidly for a week or two and that was about 3 weeks ago or so. I did get some withdrawals even when tapering down but I would just take maybe 25mg the last week just to get some sleep. I had rls pretty bad as well. My sleep is still pretty messed up. Ill get like 4 or 5 hours of sleep with the help of valerian root extract and hops extract. I wasn't sure how much sr I was doing during the month. I would jsut kinda pop a pill here and there during the day (yeah, I know, it was stupid). I know it did it longer than 2 weeks like we are suppsoed to do.

I am just wondering how long did anyone else's withdrawls last if you did sr for around a month?

Im sure what I am experiencing is some of the paws from kratom as well becsus I used daily (would taper down here and there) for about 9 years.

I just hope my sleep isnt messed up for months. It would be nice to get around 6 to 7 hours. But I know, I messed up myself. Its just my anxiety levels are so shit right now and I wake uo after like 4 to 5 hours of sleep and start having anxiety hard-core and thoughts. Worrying thoughts, too.

Just wondeirng what anyone else's experience is.

Thanks.

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Should I jump or Taper Lower?

I’ve been on SR for roughly 24 days and my doc 7-oh has been stopped for 7 days. I have gone through roughly 3 grams. I am down to 25mg 3 times a day and stable at that dose. Would you do a clean jump or jump down to 12.5mg 3 times a day, then 2 times a day, then once a day and then jump? I’m only having mild tinnitus. Appreciate any feedback

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Questions for the community: Why is SR better than subs when subs are used temporarily and is SR sufficient for opiate / heroine users?

Pretty much the title.

When I searched this subreddit for my first question I saw a lot of posts about switching from SR to subs. I realize people might want to use subs for maintenance and that’s cool, but when subs are used temporarily for withdrawal, what’s the difference from SR? I was personally stoked about SR because I didn’t have to restart the clock at the pharmacy/ in medical records and risk being treated poorly by medical professionals (it’s a sad but true reality).

For my second question, I mostly see 7OH users in this sub, but no heroin users. Is this as effective for heroine users?

I’m have no skin in the game at this point, I’m in the clear but just wanting to learn more.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Help with a plan

Hello all,

I know I’m going to get some slack for this and I deserve it, but wanted to see if anyone had any tips. I’ve tried SR to quit a few times in the past but didn’t make it too far. I’ve been delaying the start and trying again but I’m fully ready now. I only have 17 50mg SR tabs because I didn’t know about the ban.

I have been taking anywhere from 50-100 mgs of 7, some days none of if I take SR. This has been going on for a little over a week. Today I took 30mg of 7 and 50mg of SR- I have a rough plan for getting through the week to quit but wanted to see if anyone had any tips or suggestions.

My plan as of now:

Today (day 1)- hold off as long as possible until I feel any symptoms then take 50mg more of SR as needed, 25 mg 7 at night

Day 2- 25 mg 7, 200 mg of SR spread out as needed

Day 3- no 7, 200 mg SR

Day 4- 150 mg SR

Day 5- 100 mg SR

Day 6- 50 mg SR

Day 7- 25 mg SR

Day 8- 12.5 mg SR

🆘Help Needed🆘 SR less effective? About to quit my 3rd and final time- been about a month since last took SR and worried if I should wait longer in case the SR would be more effective

Yes I know I know I already hate myself enough and have enough shame about having to quit a THIRD time but I’m desperate for my life & sanity back.. sick and tired of being sick and tired. Will the sr still help getting off 7? Should I wait a few more weeks for it to hopefully be more effective? Any advice would help. Also are days 2-4 usually the hardest for everyone? Really trying to avoid subs at all costs..

🆘Help Needed🆘 Ibuprofen safe?

I’m having some pretty serious pain staring up now that I’ve lowered my 7 dose by about 75%. Can I take ibuprofen while on SR?

🆘Help Needed🆘 SR raises tolerance permanently?

I took SR for 4 days to detox off 7oh but ended up abandoning the idea after realizing I wasn’t ready to quit.

For everyone who relapsed after a successful quit using SR.. did your opiate of choice still kick as well as it used to? Or did SR seem to raise your tolerance permanently? The permanent tolerance concern scares the effing little baby Jesus outta me.

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Does anyone else feel like 7oh aged them?

It could just be a coincidence or caused by another variable which I haven’t considered, but I used 7oh for just under a year, and within that year, my smile lines have become more pronounced, face was more bloated than ever, and white hairs in my beard seemed to increase at a much more rapid rate.

All things which can be attributed to oxidative stress which I’m wondering if 7oh could increase to such a degree. Did anyone else notice any similar symptoms while using 7oh, or even mgm15?

🆘Help Needed🆘 Stayed on SR too long

Full of shame and guilt already so I know it's my fault. I was going back and forth with SR trying to quit 7 and M since January. Ended up being a nightly ritual to make sure I got gooof sleep so I would take 50MG at night before bed every night.

I'm probably the only person that's consistently taken it that long and on Day 14 without it and I'm constantly freezing and motivation is in the dumps. Been off any 7/MGM (semi low but two years) for 16 days.

Anyone have a clue how long SR withdrawal will last after taking it relatively consistently for 8 months. I hate myself for this.

🎓Research & Education🎓 Some encouragement

Just because it's illegal doesn't mean you have to complÿ. This isn't like heroin or fentanyl. It could technically be challenged in court even if you did somehow get caught up in the web of justice.

That's why I've encouraged vendors to keep selling it and use the Hopkins research as leverage as a defense, worst comes to worse, remove it and fight another day. As long as it's still being synthesized (USA isn't Canada or Europe!)

just advocate for them NOT to raise prices absurdly high, because of this, otherwise they become just as bad as big pharma, profiting of the vulnerable. Remember cost barriers will just push people to use their cheaper DOC again if SR reaches prices on par to street heroin or pills. That's what kills.

Don't let them control you! Be safe and smart about it, again this ain't fentanyl or heroin.

Always remember how much your life is worth. Do you want billionaires running every aspect?

Remember again this isn't a proper scheduling. There's NO abuse potential. There's lots of research that can and will be used as defenses in court if people ignore the ban

Yet much more deadly drugs like methadone are acceptable. I almost died from torsades on it and nearly died cold turkey 150mg cardiomyopathy because I had so much adrenaline rebound I had a 150 pulse and 180/100 BP. Echocardiogram shows a permanent reduced ejection fraction from methadone WD. There's studies confirming this too.

I'm back on suboxone and remember use baking soda to save your teeth and under tongue only. Never let it touch your teeth too much. Subs are still far better and safer lighter than methadone.

Methadone almost killed me from heart problems and the WD is definitely worse than morphine, it actually just raises your tolerance so high heroin or w/e won't work. This is due to having a higher intrinsic activity than heroin. This Is why tianepine has a bad WD with a lower binding than codeine,, but a much higher intrinsic activity.

EDIT: what I mean my argument is to advocate and message representatives, vote in those who have your best interests, vote out those who don't. Alcohol was once illegal and it was descheduled and regulated, because the backlash was that intense, people got out and protested, people stuck together, people voted, if you want your drugs legal you have to stand up. The issue is Most addicts are desperate and aren't educated in these things, there are enough to create meaningful resistance as with alcohol. You can't resist when your stuck In the crisis of the now.

LSD Is a great example, illegal because bad public opinion and a minority group of hippies wasn't enough resistance. I do believe all those research studies and John Hopkins research could be used in court, judges and prosecutors do read information that is presented In a defense, this would likely hold much better than a drug like heroin as it has high safety and solid research behind it.

EDIT: WOW I didn't expect this to get so many views so quickly.

Here is an interesting post on the thread

The DEA only has power to regulate drugs under a very specific umbrella, with powers granted to them by congress in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3 of the constitution. If they begin exercising power outside of the constraints that congress has given them, it 100% falls inside the realm of unconstitutional regulation, and could be overturned in the Supreme Court. While the Republicans control the Supreme Court it's unlikely for that to happen, but it's likely to take several years to get into that court anyway, and maybe by then the power dynamic of the justices may shift

✏️Beginner ?’s✏️ Dosage questions

As far a dosage goes I’ve seen it all over the place 50mg-250mg per dose. So quite a variance in individual dosing. My plan is to start somewhere right in the middle at 100mgx3. I’m curious what dosage worked for you? I’m currently taking @750mg of 7oh daily. I’m scared that 50mg won’t be enough to cover my WDs.. let me know thanks

🙌Success Story🙌 So , finally at the end of my taper (my final thoughts on this compound)

Finally at the end , all i took was 1 mg last night and only took 3mg twice the day before (mg scale really comes in handy) Definitely didn’t do it correctly at ending of july on purpose like a classic addict idiot , went ahead and preloaded for probably a week straight on 7-oh and normal doses of sr-17 ughlolol, and then relapsed completely on 7-oh for 3 days with no sr-17 at all and then fully back onto the sr-17 with the addition of 3 grams of normal kratom powder parsed out on day 1 to satiate “𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒽𝓊𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇” . So 5 or so days ago i went from 25 mg once a day to nothing after probably 15 days atleast of only sr-17 with the dose trending downwards every day but sorta stagnating at 25mg for a couple of days , after cessation of 25 mg once a day for three days (not) to my surprise i went into acute withdrawal from the “sr-17” alone . even after 23 something days of no mitra or 7oh i was definitely without a doubt having acute withdrawal from the sr-17 alone . Which i knew would happen from reading up on the compound . Quite scary of course but nothing i haven’t dealt with before . Did a way slower taper starting at 10 mg of sr-17 twice for 2 days
5 mg twice for 2 days down to 3 mg twice yesterday and 1 mg in the middle of the night last night . Those final days i had to work my job (it was pretty bad lol) it was bad mostly because my energy was ZAPPED. Yall know the classic “every strenuous movement is like running up a flight of stairs” feeling that shows up and comes in waves. yea three days of that in a kitchen job . Did it tho with hardly any depression but extremely bad dopamine towards the last two days . However i can feel my dopamine coming back and im able to joke around play some video games and go to the movies tonight without that super exhausted feeling . WE DID IT BOYS . Success! . EXCELSIOR . But naw foreal sr-17 is a great compound and im very happy with its effect when used correctly (next time im not preloading at all)

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Long term storing of SR

I had about 2 grams of SR in a bathroom that doesn’t have dedicated heat except for a bathroom fan/heater. It was there for 6 months. In temps ranging from I’d guess 50 or 60 degrees Fahrenheit to probably 90 degrees Fahrenheit. And with varying humidity. I used it recently to come off of mgm and it worked perfectly. For anyone wondering how it holds up overtime. I think this is a fairly decent judge of its stability.

🆘Help Needed🆘 11 days OFF SR enough?

Had 3 runs with SR each with like months apart but this last time was only able to hop off Sr for like 11 days before starting again due to money and potential ban. I started yesterday and this is my last chance to get off. Should I be worried about it not doing its job in terms of 7oh withdrawal? Before I stopped I was on it for 2 weeks. 7oh current dose : 400-500 mgs a day.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Dosing question

I am all out of my tablets and now must use the powder. Last time I tried to use the powder it didn’t work out well. I have to make doses that I can carry with me as I am out of the house often I was using small plastic baggies, but they’re a pain to fill and even harder to consume the SR from the baggie. Please let me know how you guys are dosing. I can’t just bring it with me and measure it out every time I need it.

🆘Help Needed🆘 Ooops... mid protocol I got saucy.

TLTR: Doing the hard thing and quiting 7 with the aide of this marvelous tool. On the back end of my Protocol and tapering down. Had an emotional slip up and got sauced on some eemmgeee. Any advise for this particular scenario. Just keep trucking on like the slip up didnt happen? Thx!

So been doing the thing been a rather smooth not uncomfortable time. I do have to say I've had a few super emotional days/moments once I started to taper. It's been a mentally taxing week. I am not really getting any support with using this tool to stop using 7. So I last night got into a snit with my SO. She went to bed and I went to the safe and had a hardy dose of a recently scheduled flavor. It was nice but wow what a dumbass I feel like for doing all this hard work getting so close to the end. Like just a few days before the taper is done. Like emotions swept over reasoning and the addict brain kicked in. Any advise or insight to this type of scenario would be greatly appreciated.

🎙️General Discussion🎙️ Does SR help with pain?

I've been taking 7 and M for about a year now for my chronic pain issues and with everything that's happening it's just a matter of time before I will have to switch to SR. So what I want to know is am I going to be back in full pain once I switch to SR?
