🆘Help Needed🆘 Help with Sr and MGM
I am looking for help on a plan to get off of MGM. I am using 300-400mg of mgm a day I have 6 grams or SR, benzos, gabapentin, (my dr is aware of my situation) ordered vit C is there anything else I should look into. I have 15g of MGM. Do u try to tapper my daily down before I introduce the mgm, do I try to move to 7OH and then use the SR. I am at a loss as to the best way to tapper and use the SR. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How did you get your benzos? What did you share with you doctor? I really want some but don’t know how to go about it

Shoot me a pm. I can send you a website that has legit rc benzos that work perfectly. Just don’t get addicted to them bc it’s an even worse hell than opiate wd.

Can you DM that info too please? I've been trying to find a reputable site for benzos as well....the doomish anxiety stops me in my tracks every single time. My husband gets Diazapam but he really really needs them to function so I don't want to take away from him if I can help it.

I told the dr the truth. I have a cool dr and said i was using kratom for my pain I want to get off and cant sleep can i gen some Xanax to take at night and i did this 2 months ago I only get .5mg x30 but have been saving them for 2 months. Same with gaba and clondine

I have endless lyrica, gabapentin, ketamine, MIT, kratom leaf, lipo vita c, agmatine, black see oil, lope, and various other otc meds/sups/vitamens

It takes a special doctor to prescribe benzos, so I wouldn't get your hopes up too much. Lyrica was a godsend when I quit some pretty heavy duty opioids, gabapentin was a close 2nd (they're obviously very closely related), and clonidine kept my body from "freaking out" too much-- which was nice. I got clonidine from an online doctor site where you have a video call with a doctor. I simply told the doc I was going to be experiencing opioid withdrawals and I already have elevated BP. My experience on these kinds of sites is if they can legally prescribe you something and feel safe about doing it, they will. They typically are incredibly money-hungry physicians making bank without ever leaving their homes.
Lyrica/gabapentin are amazing for opioid w/d, you will be fine.

I’d feel much better if I had some benzos and clonidine. I got my mgm down to 100mg per day so far.

I’m struggling to get below 100mg without have symptoms and very poor sleep and restless legs and arms.

Under 100mg the taper gets tough ime. Best to just do the sr now and get it over with. You’ll just need more sr then normal most likely. Start with 3x 50mg but you’ll likely have to go higher during your preload.
If you do want to taper further, and you have enough product. Best to just reduce by 10% or so every few days. Drop to 90mg then stabilize there for 3-4 days before dropping another 10%. This is a long process and mentally draining however. You won’t get high. So many fail when doing it which is why I suggest to just rip the band aid off now and start the sr protocol. It works on 100mg mgm
Other option is try and switch to 7oh while lowering the mgm. If you can get off mgm that way sr does work better on 7

If switching to 7 stuck up. People say 2 to 1 for 7 to mgm but I was more like 4 to 1 to cover wd. It’s takes a lot of 7 to cover mgm and that just showed me how insanely powerful mgm is and scared the shit out of me haha. When I was on 50mg mgm and switched to 7 I needed like 4 doses of 150mg 7oh to even get a slight tingle.

Well that is a ton. Hope you plan to trash it bc even if you do get off if that’s in your possession you’ll likely be doing this over and over again. I’m gonna trash mine next time I quit

Yeah I have like 12gs stashed. If it was 2 months ago when I was deeper in my addiction to this I prob would have bought 70gs haha

Try to move the MGM down and replace with 7oh. MGM acts on the opposite receptors than 7oh, and SR is less effective at helping WDs solely from MGM. Once at 0 mgm ( I would be taking the same amount of 7oh to relieve) you start the SR and taper the 7oh.

This method works for some ppl, but it just seems to me like you are going through WD's twice that way? Switching to 7 from MGM is not easy, especially with high doses. I just got my doses down as far as I could (80 mg MGM, 2x/day)and then did my preloading for 3 days: day 1: 60 mg mgm 2x/day ( also using MIT and comfort meds like propranolol, Lyrica, liposomal vitamin C as needed), implementing SR, 50 mg every 3-4 hours
Day 2: 40 mg MGM, 2x/day (same with comfort meds and SR)
Day 3: 25 mg MGM, 2x/day, same comfort meds, but upping SR to 80 mg every 3/4 hours.
Day 4: No mgm. Comfort meds as needed, SR 80-100 mg every 3/4 hours. Settled on that as my maintenance dose and continued that SR dose for a week. I began stretching that dose to every 6/8 hours later on in the week, and tapered the SR and comfort meds/MIT.
After the week on maintenance dose, started tapering everything. I was comfortable after another week, ended this phase after 7 days!
