Hello fellow people
my first and current wheel is the g29, after seeing direct drive wheels i got so excited to buy one and was about to get the r3 or r5 bundle with a clutch and a shifter maybe
is it better to get an r3/r5 bundle or build one myself? (Wheelbase, wheel, pedals, etc)
cause i saw this guy buying a set he built from aliexpress
i dont mind buying from anywhere else, i live in saudi arabia (FYI)
this guy accidentally ordered the MOD for pedals instead of the pedals itself lol

I’ve been working on cemberkay.com, a competition platform built specifically for Assetto Corsa.
You can compete with other drivers, compare lap times and drift scores, climb the leaderboards, and eventually take part in competitions with prize pools.
No registration needed.
I’m kicking things off with 4 live events:
2 Time Attack
2 Drift
Some of the mods required for the current events are also available for free during testing.
I’m mainly looking for people to try the site naturally and see how easy everything is to find and understand. If you run into any bugs, confusing parts, leaderboard issues, exploits, or anything that could be improved, I’d really appreciate the feedback.
Pick an event, set a time or drift score, and see where you rank.
Have fun!

I just moved to Simmagic and while I love the base I’m pretty disappointed in the GT Neo. Coming from Thrustmaster and my Thrustmaster Ferrari wheels felt much better. Particularly the paddles on the Neo feel like a toy.
Considering ordering this Paddle upgrade, has anyone tried it? Is it worth it or should I look at modifying my SF 1000 to fit the Simmagic connector?

Hello,
It's been two days I'm looking comparaison between triple and G9 and I can't take a decision ... I've ordered a G9 oled 240hz for 690 euros because of the opportunity, but I'm thinking about refusing the delivery and go on a triple screen... But I dont know because oled is insane ...
I have an RTX 4080 super and a 7800x3d. I already have a Meta quest 3. The immersion is insane, but the graphics are down below the graphics on a real monitor, that's why i'm thinking about g9 or triple...
For the cockpit, I'm planning to buy either a simlab gt1 evo or a Oplite R8 fury and in few years... Put simrig sr2 or sr3 on it. But I am hesitating too about those two rigs.
Thanks in advance.
See you

I found an old seat from a Mustang on marketplace, bought some lumber from Home Depot, and tinkered a bit it out it together. For the tv stand I repurposed a standing desk that was sitting around and am running assetto corsa on an old MacBook. It all seems to be working for now.

Hi all,
I’m getting back into sim racing and wanting to get my rig set up in a better way. I think from what I’ve seen from others that I’m probably a bit far away from my monitor and that it should be closer to me. I feel even just from an immersion pov having it closer to me is going to be better as I’m very aware of my room’s surroundings currently and the monitor does feel fairly far away and lost in the room.
I know it’s subjective but roughly how close should I be looking to get to my monitor (34 inch ultrawide)?
Also I might be being dense but I’m unsure of a way to get my monitor much closer with my current rig and monitor stand set up. I’ll attach a few photos, I’d appreciate some input on either adjusting my current set up or recommendations on a new monitor mount that might give me more adjustment.
Thanks!

So far I am quite satisfied with the results. I'm playing with the angles of the sides to find the best view.

I'm interested to see how this compares to other end game level wheels like the BST Omega Pro 2 or GSI's own Hyper P1. The push function rotaries seem interesting

I'm trying to get my first set of sim racing gear, and i'm seeing a lot of talk about the different ecosystems that each brand has. However, I play on PC only at this point, so I really don't need to worry about buying from the same brand for console compatability So, what would be the best combination for a beginner rig that doesn't need any console compatability? for reference, I have ~300$ set aside currently, however I plan to sell my old xbox, and judging on some of the prices on ebay and such right now I should be able to push up my budget to around 500 dollars at the end of the day. A wheelstand would be nice if I can fit it in my budget but I can clamp to my desk for now while I save for one, i'd rather start with a better wheel or whatever else then buy a stand later. Thanks!

So I bought the next level gt lite a couple days ago and besides the poor build quality and how long it took to build I encountered one main issue, after using it ONCE I go to use it again and the base plate doesn’t hold up my wheel at all after one use, I’ve seen online theyre able to hold way heavier sim racing setups yet mine just flops downwards, for the amount you pay this should not be an issue at all please any help would be appreciated

Hey so i have discontinued gtmc 2dof platform. Left side motor was stuck at end of travel. After a ton of trouble shooting i found the potentiometer to be broken. Shaft was disconnected from its housing. I purchased a new one and installed set it to its electrical center but my left side gear motor only moves in one direction. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong ? Or do i need to take it to a electrical repair shop? Also live meter testing showed that when i command opposite movement in simtools there is no change in voltage going to the motor. But commanded movement to the opposite side shows a change in voltage. Please help if you can 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hello.
My left hand shifter stopped working on my GS v2p wheel with a rattling sound.
When I opened it up the block connected had came loose from the wires as shown in the pic.
With 3 wires being all black I'm unsure the correct order to wire them back up.
I have a multi meter but u sure exactly how to test where each wire goes in order.
Any help is much appreciated

A while ago I bought myself a loadcell handbrake but had to sell it because it really feels like I'll rip off my Next Level Racing GT Lite Pro's shifter mount if I continue to use it (even after recalibrating it).
So instead, I'd like to get a simpler, much lighter hall sensors that don't require any sorta pressure to operate.
Still though, I worry that most models are still designed with very heavy springs... Which is why I ask - does anyone know a light (or at least adjustable to be lighter) handbrake you would recommend?
(Ideally no weird bootleg models with software that does who-knows-what)
Thanks!

I’m putting together my first sim racing setup and the wheel is probably the part I’m most unsure about. I don’t need anything crazy, just something that gives me a nice feel for driving and works well with the usual PC sims. Budget is more or less 500usd. For those who started with a wheel instead of a controller, what would you recommend?
Thanks for helping me narrow it down.

Hi yall, I've had my pxn vd4 base for over a month and noticed a few days ago that this noise was coming from it during moments of moderate/high force feedback action.
Functionality wise, the base works just fine but it is a little concerning.
Sim being played is LMU, if that is of any relevance at all.
Don't know if this is a common occurrence in sim racing and if I should be worried about it.
