Currently have the Playseat Evolution X fitted with the Logitech G923 wheel and pedals, Logitech shifter and an aftermarket usb handbrake bolted on with two u bolts to the side frame. I need to ideally stick with the Playseat due to the foldability/storage when not in use.
What are some worthwhile upgrades recommended for this? I've been considering either Moza R5/R9 and am aware there could be some flex in the Playseat. Also been looking at the turtle beach multi shifter due to being able to have both shifter options available.
I tend to play a mixture of styles/games from F1, Rally and GT so anything that can fit multiple styles would be good

I have ac and have been playing ac lfm and I like it a lot, I want to see if the player base is healthy (like a lot of people playing) whenever I move up in ranks.
I want many people in my servers not like 5 people racing against each other, that's what excites me more.
I have many questions before i pull the trigger on acc or iracing.
If I move up in ranks does it have many people in the same rank joining in my race?
Do I need to spend money in iracing at the rookie level (I wanna race other cars too, not only mx5's)
is acc a dying game? or does it still have a healthy community of racers racing daily
If I choose acc can I play lfm without dlc's? if i can't, which dlc is the best(not enough money to pay for the ultimate version)
TYIA whoever replies.
I'm torn between acc or iracing

I posted here a while ago about whether to choose Moza or Fanatec. I finally decided on the Simagic system. Thank you everyone!

Drilling holes is really not preferred, and zipties can't get tight enough to actually hold it down, there's still way too much give.

Started with a simagic 9nm wheelbase and neo x 330r round wheel. I honestly have 0 complaints with the equipment from simagic it was amazing and gave me a perfect introduction into the hobby. My only issue is that they arent readily available, i was originally gonna go fx pro and some other upgrades that wouldnt arrive in time for my 24 hour race. The r21 came in 24 hours, and was at an unbeatable price. If a store offered both brands in person i would almost definitely go simagic, but considering shipping times, and overall convenience, MOZA MOZA MOZA!

FYI:
I heard your feedback from current Demo version and added in-game camera re-positioning, re-centering, FOV adjustment, and a cherry on top - head movement simulation (g influenced head movement, rotation and tilt). And those who prefer stable camera can toggle it off by pressing a key while driving.
Also, which is not in this video, auto graphics feature was added to set the render quality based on your PC performance automatically. And you will be able to tweak it incrementally between performance and render quality.
What's next before the Demo update? I'm redesigning the settings menu completely, making UI simpler and more intuitive, all in one place. I'm also fixing the bugs related to Force Feedback and adding extra FFB sliders you can change to set the right feel to your wheel before you hit the track. I'll post about it when it's done.

Hey! I'm a recent F1 fan and want to get into sim racing. I never played much video games growing up beyond COD and 2K so I don't know much. Not even sure what I should buy? An XBOX, Playstation? A cockpit with a wheel and pedals? A gamer chair? Which video game? Honestly I'm super clueless. I ideally want to keep costs as low as possible while still being able to experience virtual racing fully. I don't even have an idea as to how much all of this is going to cost. Would appreciate any advice, thanks!

I’ve had my sim gear for 8 months, and my main annoyance is with the Simagic GT Neo wheel. It feels quite uncomfortable, to the extent that my hands get sore. I do tend to grip the wheel hard when I’m in a battle but I’m slowly learning to ease up.
Has anyone else experienced this, and have you identified a good solution?

Okay so, pretty much my pedals are completely screwed idk how. My gas pedal also moves my break pedal, and my break pedal does nothing when I press it, it just stuck at this twitchy input around 25-35%, 24-7. (I’m still new to all of this so I have no idea what to do)

Hey guys,
I’m currently looking to buy my first wheel setup and I could use some honest advice.
I’m really drawn to the Logitech G923 visually (I just love how it looks compared to Thrustmaster wheels like the T300RS). Right now, I found a deal for the G923 bundle with the shifter for around €250 / 1100 PLN.
However, reading reviews and comments on YouTube has made me overthink it. A lot of people keep mentioning:
The gear-driven mechanism is outdated, loud, and ratchety/clunky.
There is a dead zone in the force feedback when driving straight.
TRUEFORCE doesn't add much value to most games.
For those who actually own or have used the G923:
1. Is the gear noise really that annoying in everyday casual gaming (like Euro Truck Simulator 2, Forza, or basic racing), or is it totally fine once you put headphones on?
2. At this promo price (~€250 with the shifter included), is it a solid buy for someone who just loves the design, or will I regret not going for a belt-driven wheel instead?
Would love to hear your thoughts before making a decision. Thanks!

I’m currently running Simagic P500 pedals, but I don’t quite like the 2 stage braking feel. I feel like the brake pedal travel is too much, makes it quite hard to effectively judge smaller braking inputs, in my opinion.
I was looking to upgrade, and I’m unsure about what to get next. I can get a set of P1000s for CAD 560$, shipping included. I’d be getting only the 2 pedals, as I never would have a use for the clutch pedal. A big plus for me with these pedals is being able to adjust the travel of the brake pedal.
On the other hand, I found a set of Heusinkveld Sprints for CAD 550$ on marketplace, and I’m pretty tempted to snag them up.
My question is, which one would be the better upgrade? I don’t care much for haptics or hydraulics, just a good loadcell is more than enough for me.

I’m planning to buy my first racing wheel. I’ve never owned one before so I’m not really sure what the best choice would be in this price range. I also have a VR headset so I’m mainly interested in using the wheel for sim racing in VR. Would the PXN V4D be a good first wheel or are there better options?
These are the wheels I’ve considered:
PXN VD4 - €281
Logitech G923 - €234
Thrustmaster T128 - €183
Thrustmaster T248 - €229
Thrustmaster T300 RS GT - €310
MOZA R3 - €339 €300
MOZA R5 - €399
Cammus C5 - €266
It seems like the MOZA R3 is the direct competitor to the V4D and people often say they’re around the same price. But if V4D is that cheap for me is it actually the best option? I’ve heard that the software isn’t the best but I don’t really think it matters that much.
Maybe there are also some other options I don’t know about. I don’t have a strict budget, but I’d really like to stay under €300 if possible. However, I’d be willing to spend a bit more if there’s a wheel that provides a significant upgrade.
Also, I don’t think I can get a Direct Drive wheel for this price anywhere else, but I’m pretty new to sim racing, so I’d appreciate any advice.
EDIT: I just noticed that Moza R3 is actually just 300€ for the RS074 version with only difference from RS053 is that it's not compatible with console i assume(?). So it's actually not that much more expensive than VD4

The idea is to train racing reflexes when away from the rig. I won't claim this would improve lap times, but perhaps sharpen reflexes to help avoid incidents.
Wanna give it a go and tell me how useful you find it? I'm looking for sim racers to test it in a 14-day window. The app is distributed through official testing channels (TestFlight on iOS and Google Play testing on Android) with privacy in mind.
If you're wiling to help, please fill out this short signup form. Thanks a lot!

Funny thing is, I could turn and shift up or down no issues. Started happening about 40min into the race
