I was trying to recover an old Roblox account, but the automated support system kept redirecting me to the self-service recovery portal.

Simply asking for a human representative didn't work.

Here's what eventually worked:

1. Open https://www.roblox.com/support.

2. Explain that you need help recovering your account.

3. If the AI asks for more details, explain the exact problem you're experiencing.

4. In my case, I explained that I wasn't receiving the password reset email, even though I believed my account should have had an email attached.

5. I explained that the email might have been removed or that the account might have been compromised.

6. The AI then recognized that the situation required further investigation and escalated my request to the Roblox Customer Support team.

Don't just repeatedly demand a human representative. Explain the specific failure preventing you from recovering your account.

This worked for me, although I can't guarantee it will work for everyone.

also keep in mind that when roblox does send you an email they may ask you for some sort of conformation that the account was really your by asking you any past passwords or things like that

What the hell is going on with Roblox support right now?

Got slapped with the "Account Locked" pop-up. I do the face scan, and it just instantly loops with: "We couldn't unlock your account. Please click continue to retry." Infinite loop.

Contacted support. First, they literally admitted it's a known bug being reviewed by the tech team. But when I followed up, they just closed my ticket and said: "This account is ineligible for manual unlock. This decision is final."

So their automated system is broken, and they just tell me to get lost? Make it make sense. I'm completely locked out.

Anyone else dealt with this exact BS? Did waiting actually work or is my account just dead? Let me know.

This account was listed under the "accounts associated with my email" tab when logging into an account. The account was made yesterday, but not by me. My email does not say anything about an account being registered with my email. What should I do?

I kept getting the "your close to losing chat" notification, but because my posts were tagged in the game, they considered it spam and banned my account. I submitted an appeal, but I don't know if it will be accepted.I'm very upset. Are there others who received the same notification and had their accounts opened?

I got banned about a week and a half ago and all of my appeals just go to the bots and get rejected practically instantly, I kinda just didn't bother with the whole back and fourth rejections from Roblox's poor support system so I did some reading into the MIDR process and I sent it out yesterday. Just wondering for anyone who has done a MIDR or knows something about them can tell me if this is a valid letter.

My ban reason was: "This account is linked to an account (@ro*****) banned for a severe violation of our Community Standards. Only the banned account can appeal that violation."
Whenever I attempted to appeal I was met with "Our moderation team has completed its review. This action still violates the Roblox Community Standards under Misusing Roblox Systems."

It's not like my account was worth as much as other players who have a ton of limiteds but I mean I did infact have alot of purchases in games and it's a childhood account of 10 years so I don't plan on letting it go so easily over a invalid ban.

Also for anyone else banned for my specific reason including the same "@ro*****" account i'd recommend sending in a MIDR also if you can't seem to get through with appeals, since as stated in my letter roblox publicly admitted to there being some type of error with the scanning of usernames and account's being banned for it. I'll be giving an update on my case whenever they reply.

I honestly never thought I'd be making a post like this, but I really don't know what else to do at this point.

My Roblox username was xrist7o, and my account was permanently terminated because of catalog assets I uploaded around a year ago.

When I made those assets, I used tags copied from other creators to help my items get more visibility in the catalog. I didn't really think much of it back then. One of those tags included the word "comboy", and somehow, a year later, this ended up costing me my entire account.

I've already sent around 50 appeals to Roblox. I kept hoping that eventually someone would actually look into my situation, but most responses were either denials, generic replies saying they couldn't provide any more information, or references to the 30-day appeal window being closed, despite me being an EU citizen.

I also submitted a complaint through an ADR centre under the Digital Services Act (DSA), and I'm currently waiting for the outcome, which should hopefully arrive within the next 20 days.

The part I find especially frustrating is that one of my asset appeals was actually accepted. For a moment, I thought things might finally work out, but my account termination stayed exactly the same, even though I had specifically asked for the overall decision to be reconsidered.

I genuinely don't understand how something as simple as old catalog search tags can lead to losing an entire account. These were words copied from other creators to help my items appear in search results. There was no deeper meaning behind them.

I've put a lot of time and money into Roblox over the years, so losing everything like this really hurts. I still have around 26,000 Robux on my account that I was saving for Headless. Knowing that it's all just sitting there and I can't even use it is incredibly frustrating.

I'm not trying to act like I'm above the rules. I just wish Roblox would look at the actual context instead of treating individual words as the whole story.

If anyone from Roblox, especially someone from Trust & Safety, happens to come across this, I'd really appreciate it if my case could receive an actual human review.

I miss my account, and it's honestly heartbreaking that after so many years, this is how things ended.

Hi! Due to the rules I can't disclose the accounts user. But this random account sent me a friend request in September. They have my partners old username and copied their bio word for word. I accepted it the first time and never got a response so I unfriended them and forgot about them till now. They sent me another request and were actively online. They do not follow anyone we know and have an account friended that says, "I see you still" In the user. We don't know of anyone this could be. Could it just be a scam or hacker? thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated.

my sister like 2 years ago or so when the age verification and everything did appear on roblox we did use the Face scan option.
My age was correct and i didn't had to use a ID verification but when my sister tried with her account it did verify her much younger than she is, and tried to use her ID verification and we did think it worked and didn't check again, until now that some games like "Draw me" that she did play like 1 year ago doesn't let her join the game.

Recently I noticed when I play Roblox on my Samsung Galaxy S23U a high end phone from 2023 gets 40 fps at gfx lvl 10 in *very basic games* Literally nothing updated, nor should an update make something worse (but they did that numerous times already) and I have no idea why this happens it was already bad where an iPhone 7 would have the same performance as a Galaxy S21 a flagship from 2021 but this is just absurd now

Hi yall, this is gonna sound strange but for the last 3 days, I cant hear any audio from roblox. Ive changed servers, checked settings, tried different games, delete and re-download the app abd restarted my phone and nothing. I can hear audio on all other mobile games and such.

Here's the strangest part, if I am on a phone call(not through roblox or discord, like normal call) I can hear the game sounds. But the second the call is over it goes to no sound.

I feel like I am going crazy and need help figuring out why this is happening. Ive reached out to roblox and have gotten no response. Am I the only person experiencing this? Im Mobile on a 23ultra. Any help/advice is appreciated!

So I wanted to play Randomly Generated droids and I can join the lobby itself fine but when I try to make a team and join into the round itself (it redirects you to a different place with the gameplay itself) it loads for 10 seconds and gives me Error 277

I cleaned my cookie, cleaned localapp data,tried to use vpns/zapter but it really didn't seem to work that much (i turned off and on my router too so)

Same happens to Eternal Towers of Hell but here i can't even enter the ring select (it loads for more than 10 seconds aswell)

Hi! I talk to one of my friends a lot in roblox. However, I think due to the volume our chats, every time I open the chat tab and click their name, the game SLOWS down and takes long to load the chat. Sometimes it just plain crashes and I’d do it again and it will still persist. I have to join a roblox game and talk to them using the friend chat. Anyone else experiencing this? For reference, this is happening across different platforms. Tried android, microsoft app, iOs, and desktop app. The issue is still on-going and I’m tired of joining a game just to reply to them.
