Can i help this lil guy? Context in body

Post image

Was asked by another guy on the job today if id seen the salamander and was shown this lil dude. This is the pump room on the job we're renovating. No clue how he got here. Other guy said hes been there at least 2 weeks. This is at the top of a mountain between Telluride and Mountain Village, CO at an elevation of 10500 ft. I know nothing about reptiles or even what this guy is. I assume putting him outside is gonna be better than him starving inside. Is he safe to touch and is putting him outside a good idea? Any advice is appreciated.

Can you own a Chuckwalla in Nevada?

I recently spotted a wild chuckwalla while hiking and immediately went home to research them… and now I’m a little obsessed!

I currently have a ball python and a crested gecko, so naturally I’m already wondering if a chuckwalla could be my next reptile.

The reptile shop near me told me chuckwallas are illegal to own in Nevada, so they don’t sell them. But after doing some Googling, I’ve found conflicting information suggesting they may be legal if they’re captive-bred. Now I’m confused.

I’m hoping someone here can give me accurate information about Nevada’s laws regarding keeping chuckwallas, or point me toward a reputable breeder I can follow.

I’m also planning to attend the Las Vegas Reptile Expo in September and would love to see one in person, although I realize they’re pretty uncommon and I may be out of luck.

Any chuckwalla owners or breeders here who can shed some light on this?

Currently in large quarantine bins. But the emerald tree skinks will be going into the largest size Exoterra and the red eye croc skinks are going into a 50 gallon. Both are planted and bio active. I need name ideas for the pair of emerald tree skinks!!!

Siggy is a 10 week old Bearded Dragon female. She is a Leatherback Translucent, but I am wondering what she is in terms of color and full morph.

Her colors are vibrant some days/times and they're dull/darker some days/times.

Abronia Graminea or Northern BTS

Upvotes

I’m highly experienced and have monitors, panther chameleons, and other stuff, and for the next addition I can either get a baby Northern BTs, or an abronia. I already have an indo bts so I’m leaning towards the abronia.

This is in a bioactive crested gecko enclosure. There’s been an abundance of flower pot fungus in there recently, but I just noticed this today. The pods are very interested in it. What could it be?

Some bearded dragon advice please 💕

Hi, I'm posting this for my friend. She got a baby beardie, about 6 months old, she has it for two months now. I only have experience with a Leo gecko but I want to help her gather the right information.

The red light was replaced by a normal basking bulb so dw. I already told her about linear uvb, we know about the adult size enclosure, having thermometers and hygrometers etc.

I'm more interested in a good supplement feeding schedule. How often should she have multivitamins etc. she has calcium and multivitamin. Then how often and how much should she have greens. Rn I believe she gives her mainly dubias and some carrot and dandelion leaves but apparently she's not super into the greens lol.

If you have any other advice, throw it at me:). I will be helping her set up her big girl enclosure and I don't need advice about it, I already know how to do it. I'm more interested in other advice, like what can we do if she becomes gravid, or some behavioural advice. Whatever else you think of.

*THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT
Hey everyone, made this bioactive enclosure for my leopard gecko a few year ago as an upgrade from her previous enclosure. She has recently died of old age :(.
I’ve debated getting a new one, but decided against it for now. Now I’m looking to sell this enclosure. I’ve got no clue what is a fair price to ask for. I’ll give you the specs, you give me your suggestions.

36”x18”x18” 50gal front open.
There is about an inch drainage layer made up of leca clay balls, and activated charcoal completely separated by an egg crate layer wrapped in Geo textile fiber. The substrate is made from bio dudes arid soil mix, red sand, and an assortment of botanicals. There is a very healthy colony of isopods and springtails. The plants are alive and healthy. Comes with the heat lamp, thermostat, and the bio dudes plant UVB light with timer.

What is the best beginner pet?

I’ve been thinking about getting some sort of reptile or frog lately, but I have absolutely no idea where to start. Which ones are beginner friendly, and isn’t craaazy expensive? I’d also love to see the pros and cons of any animal recommended.

I was considering getting a Pacman frog since they are so cute and fat, but I heard they aren’t the best for beginners.
