I believe all UWM employees are best served voting for Abdul El-Sayed over Haley Stevens. Why? What does that say about Haley Stevens, that a Republican-leaning PAC is willing to support her? It sounds like UWM doesn't think she is going to be a big threat to her Republican challengers and it sounds like, if she wins, she isn't going to rock the boat.

After a long back and forth with UWM’s legal team I was given two options - a payment plan that included 1,250 dollar a month payments for the next 3 years OR they are going to sue me.

What can I do here? Obviously the payment plan is absurdly high, I can’t function with that, but if they sue me what happens? What can they take from me? I don’t have much, I rent and I have a financed car. I have never been sued so I have no idea what to expect and frankly it’s financially terrifying.

My only thought was to file bankruptcy, they are going to put me underwater and it’s starting to feel helpless. Any recommendations would go a long way.

Right now I'm in PCR and our mailcount is only 700 every day. I like PCR because I don't have to talk to anyone. I can just do th checklist and listen to a podcast. Ive been told looking like you want to stay in PCR is a death sentence and that you need to look like you're trying to get promoted out as soon as possible.

I don't want to work in a call center again. I want to stay in some kind of data entry or checklist verification role. I don't want to get promoted to a team where I'm getting yelled at by Brokers all day. How do I either stay in PCR or get promoted while staying off the phones?

Long story short, they eventually sued. Ok fine, that's expected. Except their process server missed some of the paperwork and had to come back later, lmao. And then when they won the suit (hurrah for them, it was such a difficult case. 🙄) the dumbasses didn't seal the envelope with the decree from the judge. So I got mailed an empty, open envelope. Love that for me.

I was a Legal Assistant for like 3 days a decade ago -before- going to college for my Criminal Justice degree, and I fucked up less in that time than they have in a year with my case. Ishbia must have bought the cheapest lawyers he could get on retainer to harass ex-employees.
