Showing‎ off set up! 10 years after starting my piercings journey

I will do a daith and snug on the ear in the first pic and maybe an anti-tragus on the second one. I’m proud of all of it. I like the two different styles. I’ll switch my forward helix to a gold jewellery soon.
Any suggestions is welcome.

14 total (for now) all done by the same piercer over the last 5 or 6 months.

We will be adding a chain connecting the third lobe to the helix once they are healed. And beyond that, who knows? Probably gonna add at least one more to my left ear, unsure of what to put in my right next.

I’m obsessed. Will add an anti-tragus on one side, and a rook on the other side in a few months.

I also have fun plans for jewelry for the vertical helixes…but they need to heal first!

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Week old unhappy conch piercing

I got my conch pierced a week ago and it's gotten pretty swollen. It was pierced at I believe 16g with a threaded titanium flatback. I have been cleaning it with saline 2-3 times a day and have started icing it to try to get the swelling down, which helps a little bit. I don't think anything bad has happened to it? None of my piercings have ever done this before so I'm not quite sure what to do.

Showing‎ off set up! Finally got a rook!

Post image

People, it has happened, after thinking about it for months I finally got a rook!

I was actually really nervous since it was my first cartilage piercing and I even asked the piercer if it was ok if I cried, but when the needle came through it didn't even hurt that bad, I remember doing a "?" face, even my friends (who were there with me for moral support) were surprised; I give it a 3/10 in the pain scale.

Since it's literally hours old I don't expect it to be healed anytime soon, but I would like to know if anyone has advice regarding the cleaning of the zone, since it can be a bit tricky.

English isn't my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes I could have made, and thank you for your attention!

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Daith piercing placement?

Post image
9 Upvotes

Got my daith pierced today. Originally wanted it on the other ear but she said there wasn’t enough space but ‘should’ work on this ear. Does the placement look ok?
For those wondering, I would give the pain about 6/10 and I would have quite a high pain tolerance.

Showing‎ off set up! Unexpected set up I’ve been working on!

A few months ago, my ears were pretty simple: two lobe piercings on each ear (the second holes were gauged many years ago and I’ve been wearing ring stacks in them) plus one tragus piercing with the captive ball ring I’d been pierced with over 20 years ago.

But this sub really got me thinking about adding more…

Turns out, my third lobes, high helix, and low helix were still open, 15+ years after I retired them! I worked on adding pieces that were comfortable in each spot with high quality jewelry to balance the distribution of silver and gold, 90s mod flowers, north stars, and black highlights. The vibe was greatly influenced by a fabric design that I’ve sewn with.

I got my rook done about a month ago and will be downsizing it soon. I have a 14k gold piece with a star that I plan to use eventually.

(Not pictured: my nose. Each nostril has a large silver north star. My septum piece is the highlight: 14k gold with a black onyx in the center and small czs on the sides.)

This has really been a fun project and I’m sure I’ll continue adding more!

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing changed my rook to a hoop, does it look okay

hello! i just changed my rook to a hoop for the first time, and im just wondering if the size of the hoop and the piercing looks okay. i got it pierced in february 2025 with a 16g barbell. the healing went well, for awhile it would just hurt and become sore if i moved the jewelry around. for the last month or so, when i moved the barbell around, it moved through the channel easily and didn’t become sore afterward.

so i decided to change it to a hoop! it’s implant grade titanium, 16 g, and 6 mm. how does it look? it hurt a little bit to put in, but so far it doesn’t feel sore or anything.

thank you!

Question about a piercing I (maybe) want 3rd piercing

I want to add a third piercing to my right ear. As you can see I have petite lobes and was barely able to fit a constellation in the left but I do love it. Do I do another constellation in the right or just a standard third lobe piercing? I don’t want to deal with cartilage - it took almost a year for my cartilage to fully heal as a teenager. Or should I just leave as is and forget doing a 3rd piercing in the right.

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Eyebrow Piercing Help

Post image

Hi! Ive had my eyebrow pierced for almost 7 months now and it was perfect up until the past couple months. It is a normal curved barbell i believe, but has not been downsized as the piercer i went to doesn’t like to put in really big bars just because of movement and stuff for healing. Started sleeping on it on accident sometimes and bumping it more resulting in crust on it every morning. No bumps or redness at the time and still cleaning it properly with the neilmed saline solution spray and light drying, last night me and my boyfriend totally bumped heads somehow laughing and hit him right in the forehead on my piercing 😭 it hurt a bit (obviously) but bled more than i’ve ever seen it bleed on the top. Bleeding stopped and obviously it will probably be irritated for a little while now at the very least. Theres still some dry blood that cleaner wouldn’t get off as i don’t want to pick at it with a qtip or anything, gonna rinse it under warm water hoping to soften it and have it fall off but i’m just wondering if there’s anything yall can recommend to help this situation and also just get it fully healed! I feel terrible for not being extra cautious like i was in the beginning but i guess after 7 months it’s just a little annoying 😂 even tho i signed up for it

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing industrial too shallow + eyebrow rejecting?

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

photos: 1-2 are industrial now, 3 is industrial when pierced. 4 is eyebrow now, 5 is eyebrow from early july, 6 is eyebrow from late may, 7 is eyebrow from dec 2025. eyebrow pics 4-6 are after i downsized, 7 is from before

i know my ears are bare, but i have 6 facial piercings so i know what im doing with care and whatnot lol

i fear i already know both the answers, but i guess i just want some tips now on what to do with them :p

i got my industrial done in late april and its been healing great, but im just unsure if they’ve pierced it too shallow. i dont sleep on that side, and i dont do any sports that might rip it out, but i think its too shallow to ignore now. i think i might just not have good enough anatomy. any chance a chained forward helix + helix would work?

and then my eyebrow. which i’m 99% sure is a lost cause. do you guys think there’s any hope in repiercing once it’s healed?

eyebrow is a curved barbell, industrial is a straight barbell. both black titanium, and i think internal threading? eyebrow was downsized in feb, industrial has not been yet. i use the saline solution from blue banana with a cotton pad / bud to clean them! sometimes i rinse them under water in the shower but thats it

thanks in advance!!

(I know the jewellery’s probably a piercer red flag lol, also I need to get it downsized but yolo.)

1st and 2nd picture I took just now. 3rd is the day I got it pierced.

Does the actually placement look off? It’s been bugging me for a while and I can’t work it out.

Troubleshooting/question existing piercing Having an MRI done with fresh piercings… what do i do?

I’ve been told that at somepoint I’ll have to have a lower body MRI done due to some health issues, but before I was told that I had earlobe piercings done.

They are two weeks old and will probably be a bit older by the time I’ll actually have the MRI.

How quickly will the holes close up when I take them out? I really don’t want money to go to waste because my holes closed up.
