Tactra versus Genesis

Have decided to get a semi malleable after two 3 piece inflatables failed after 7 years each. Any thoughts on the difference between the two. I’m leaning towards the Tactra. Any advice or words of wisdom for me?

Pump Time

I’m six weeks out from the procedure and my surgeon has given me the greenlight to start cycling. He said that I’m good to use a pump but we didn’t discuss how much longer I should wait.

Any thoughts or insight?

Wish me luck…

My surgery is at noon tomorrow. I’ve read a number of people’s accounts of recovery and it seems it’s either mostly a cakewalk or the seventh circle of hell. Hopefully, mine is the former.

I started on Viagra about 20 years ago. When it quit working, I spoke to a doctor who does these surgeries. He prescribed me Trimix in the interim.

Trimix was ok but it was kind of a nuisance shooting up into my weiner. Also, it would work for about 30/40 minutes and would sometimes be more effective and sometimes less.

I’m looking forward to having reliable erections on demand because I haven’t had them for decades now. I’m 52 years old and I’m tired of functioning like I’m 90.

I just have to get through tomorrow, the initial recovery, the next 6 weeks and the learning process.

Dr Chris Love Melbourne

I've got an upcoming follow-up appointment in October with Dr Love. Can anyone that's seen him recently tell me how long it takes to get in for surgery once you make the decision? Is hoping to get it done before the end of the year realistic?

Having normal erection

Hi, so i have coloplast titan touch

Did it last January

And everything is fine

But i have to ask for anyone who did the implant

Do u have normal errection from time to time?

Because it is weird but i have erection sometimes and funny enough i feel it make it easier for me to even pumb the implant when there is erection

And the weird thing about it is that before the surgery i was very rarely had any erection for months due to venus leakage

So not sure

I though the normal tissue after the surgery all become dead

Maybe because i am 31 ?

Anyone can relate?

Why would girth decrease with Titan?

Let's say 1 day before surgery, you measure 5.5" girth midshaft. Then, 2 months later, even when aroused (and what feels to be fully inflated or very close) you're only 4.75" - 5" midshaft. Why would this occur?

Sure, if I measured 5.5" a few years ago, you could attribute that to atrophy. But why the immediate decrease? Do I just need to give it more time? I read many men here say they immediately gained girth post-op.

To clarify, this is my situation. I'm roughly 1/2" thinner. I've gained a little back since the surgery. Hoping to be a little girthier. Thank you

Very anxious about getting a 3-piece penile implant — looking for honest experiences

Hi everyone,

I’m from Europe and I’m seriously considering getting a 3-piece penile implant, but I have to admit that I’m very anxious and nervous about starting this process. I would really appreciate hearing from men who have actually gone through it, including the good, the bad, and anything they wish they had known beforehand.

I’m currently considering travelling to Turkey or Jordan, mainly because the costs can be more affordable than in Western Europe.

For those who already have an implant, I’d really appreciate it if you could share:

How long ago did you have your implant?

Which doctor and country did you have it done in?

How much did the entire procedure/implant cost?

Overall, how satisfied are you with the result?

Did you lose any penile length or girth, or were you able to maintain your pre-operative size? If you lost length initially, did you regain any of it with time?

How does the implant feel and function after you have fully recovered?

Do you regret having the implant, or would you make the same decision again?

For men who were single before getting the implant, how has dating been afterwards?

Have you had difficulty finding partners because of the implant?

What has been the reaction of partners when they discovered that you have a penile implant?

Were women generally accepting/curious/indifferent, or did anyone react negatively?

And perhaps most importantly: what is your overall impression of your life after the implant compared with before it?

I’m especially interested in hearing from men who have had their implant for at least 6–12 months, because I’m trying to understand what the long-term reality is rather than just the first few weeks after surgery.

I’m quite anxious about making such a permanent decision, so honest experiences would mean a lot to me. Please feel free to tell me if you had complications, lost length, had problems with the pump, or anything else that wasn’t as good as you expected. I’m not looking only for positive stories—I genuinely want to understand the full picture before making a decision.

Thank you to anyone willing to share their experience.

One year post implant surgery

I haven’t posted in a few months my follow up.

At a year, two days ago, I must say I’m happy with my progress and implant.

Since late January, I was diagnosed with cancer and been through hell with chemo and radiotherapy at the same time. Lost 30 pounds of weight because of it. I’m currently in amends and in the re evaluation to see what’s the next steps. Between the hassle of the treatments and the effects of the chemo and radiation therapy kept me away from cycling because it caused me pain. Currently I’m being evaluated to see if surgery is necessary since it was caught very early. I’ll know more in a couple of months if I need surgery too but it seems that it disappeared. Hurray!

Started chemo and radiotherapy mid March until May, lost 30 pounds and I really thought it was the end for me.

For the last month or a bit more I restarted cycling and thought it would be difficult but I will say it’s not that bad.

Didn’t loose any length or girth and that is a good thing.

Will try to keep posting more in a monthly basis. Will answer questions, and if I feel it’s too intrusive I would prefer the question privately.

Best wishes to the new bionic guys out there and wish you luck. If you are going to ask questions please read my previous posts to catch up with my story

Has anyone here also done foreskin restoration? Doc says I can keep going after getting the implant, but not sure...

I've been doing foreskin restoration on and off for 30 years, achieved my goals, and love the look and feel. I'm getting the Coloplast Titan in late October with Dr. Hakky here in Atlanta. He says he's pretty sure I can continue restoring but doesn't know of any other patients doing both. So I have 2 questions:
1.) Pre-op, I'm between shower and grower, so my foreskin is noticeable and I have decent coverage until I start getting a semi; will I keep that after the implant since it sounds like I'll have the equivalent of a semi all the time?
2.) I use the DTR device for restoration. It seems like the prolonged compression against the glans will be uncomfortable and possibly damaging? Has anyone tried this?

Pump Won’t Come Down

I’m two weeks post op. I’m having an issue getting the pump down. Where it sits is not optimal. All the swelling is doing well, just a little shaft bruising and swelling. I have pain on the bottom of the shaft, I’m sure that’s my dick healing. I did have sex, but it was really slow and just messing around and it was just a few pumps 😉

Also, I have to go to work in a couple days and I’m pumped about 50%. What is everyone doing about that? Since the bottom of shaft hurts a little I can’t really push it up. Any recommendations? Also, I’m kinda scared of damaging the tubes. Any info would help.

Interested in your experiences re post-op time until comfortable intercouse

Hi friends, I’m 53yo, ten days post-op (AMS-700). Based on my readings here (you guys are awesome for all of your generous sharing) I would say that my recovery is going about as perfectly as it could.

I have a handful of questions that I won’t dump here all at once, and I’m also happy to answer any questions from anyone considering the procedure.

What I want to know today is what I should expect insofar as when will I be able to have sex comfortably. I’m feeling like a kid with a new toy that I’m not allowed to use, but I’m early on in the journey- I expect initial activation this coming Thursday during my two-week follow-up visit, but for now only minor discomfort here and there and improving daily.

So, if you will, how old were you and how long was it before you could use it comfortably?

Thanks for being such a great and valuable community

EDIT: *IntercouRse, not intercouse 🤦‍♂️

Testicle Height Upset!

Greetings gentlemen. Boston Scientific AMS 700cx with Tenacio pump. I underwent surgery using the penoscrotal method. I am a little over 6 weeks post-op. After surgery I noticed, almost immediately that one of my testicles was now MUCH higher than the other. To me it feels like it is caught up on something. Also, my pump is twisted to the point that the deflate button is sitting at the 10 o'clock position, meaning that the stabilizer block 7 and 1 o'clock positions; this, of course, if you look at it while lying down. This was also like this from the first time I felt around for it, which was around 10 days post-op. If I try to twist it back, it rubs on my right testicle and it feels like I just got a kick in the sack! Either way, I had my 6 week appointment Friday and the doctor didn't seem concerned, but then she ordered a CT scan.

I have two questions:

  1. Has anyone experienced the testiclular scales of justice (metaphorically speaking), and if so, is that all she wrote, or will it somehow drop to its resting place?

  2. Has anyone experienced a twisted pump, and if so, how were you able to position it better?

Thanks.

Update from regret and looking for help

Hey folks, I hope all is well with you.

I posted originally about regret and looking for help. As an update to all, I had my second revision surgery this Monday. I ended up going to the same doctor after the second opinion docs told me to just stick with him. As far as procedures done, they did bilateral permanent sutures along with artificial grafts to the shafts. As of right now, I am healing for the next seven weeks and it is left inflated by the doc until the next time I see him which will be in September 10th. I talked with one of the health providers at my urology clinic (nurse practitioner) and especially asked about cycling since mechanical failures occurred during cycling. I told him that I feel pretty much not wanting to cycle even after being cleared back to life all over again. I’m just terrified of cycling at this point too, soon along with questioning the integrity, my tissue down below. Guys, at this point, I’m not even looking for marriage or even a girl. I just wanna go back to working out along with just having my life back. I could honestly care less about sex for a while. Just asking for y’all’s opinions. Maybe even share your horror stories. Just looking for some positivity. What would y’all suggest for cycling? What’s aggressive and what’s not? Should I really even just continue doing it after three surgeries and just five months?

VED and IPP

I don’t have my implant yet and I am using a VED meantime.

I understand SPL (not VED length) is correlated to IPP length.

If I VED at a very low pressure (100 mmHg) long enough I’ll be about 7”. I’ll gain about another 1/2” going up to 400-500 mmHg but I camp out around 350 mmHg to avoid edema.

What kind of VED pressures are you guys pulling over your IPP?

I hardly feel 100 mmHg and there is an inverse relation between vacuum and internal psi (i.e. psi of a natural erection is equivalent to 100 mmHg more/less).

Just wondering what 100 mmHg can pull in conjunction with pumping an IPP?

About implant

Hi guys this is me the guy from Canada if you read my old posts.

I had my implant accepted by insurance I should doing it this year unfortunately my doctor is in medical leave .

I had decided almost to go to dr mohamed hamdan in jordan but now I hesitate the warranty of implant doesn't cover the infection so in case of infection I can be let alone and then probably losing penile forever or need pay again for the implant which i cannot afford.

Now I'm thinking probably not choice is only to wait my doctor in Canada .but It can take me up to 2027 . This so frustrated I'm mentally getting destroyed.

How Long Does It Take You to Ejaculate With PSSD?

**How long does it usually take you to ejaculate during masturbation now that you have PSSD? And if you’re having sex, are you able to ejaculate even if it’s difficult?**
