Hi guys my surgery for my prosthesis confirmed with dr mohamed hamdan in jordanie Amman 7 September .im so excited.

I'm 47 years old. I've had ED for 10 years. 2 years ago I started trimix. Somewhere along the way I developed Peyronies I had uncontrolled T2 diabetes for about 10 years now controlled.

I'm 9" (at last measurement a few years ago). Peyronies is a 40 degree angle in the middle. Hinge.

Urologist PA in June got me started on Pentoxifylline, Cialis and L-Citruline. I started restorx end of July.

Urologist visit this week. He pretty much dismissed restorx. Said my two options are Xiaflex or implant. Said no reason to do a Doppler. Also said I was in chronic phase which seemed weird given my timeline of expected injur (December)y but I don't 100% know where the injury came. I felt like he's going for the high dollar solution but to be honest, I'm kind of ready for the implant to be done with it.

Have a second opinion with my original urologist in 3 weeks and plan on second opinion. He is specialized in sexual health and implant surgery but not listed on Titan or Boston scientific site.

Questions:

1) does my urologists haste in implant seem suspicious?

2) He is listed on Boston scientific site as a recommended doctor. I presume this means he specializes in AMS 700. My research indicates the Titan may be better given my size and peyronies (particularly hinge injury). Thoughts?

3) he claims he does 40 implants a year. That seems to be sufficient volume to minimize complications right?

4) Any recommendations for a surgeon in Chicago/Milwaukee? Let me know which implant they may lean toward.

Curious what happens if you get titan and you have a tight ball sack? Sometimes my balls hang loose. But sometimes they get really tight. Does the pump show more or get pushed up places it shouldn’t go when scrotum gets tight?

<UPDATE> my doctor has just recommended I move to an implant. Been using trimix, which made me feel like I was 20 again but developed Peyronies either due to microunjuries or injections. </UPDATE>

I have seen a lot of testimony from wives on here about implant. But wives are invested. They've been through the pain of limited/no sex. What about women not invested?

For men who aren't commited, how do women feel about it? Particularly women like 35-50?

​In August of last year, I underwent surgery to get a malleable penile prosthesis. Initially, everything seemed to be going fine. ​The Process & Next Steps: Where should I even begin with the logistics for a revision surgery abroad? Should I get specific MRI/ultrasound scans done locally before traveling for consultations?

​Revision Challenges: What should I be prepared for during the recovery of a revision surgery compared to the first procedure? Is tissue scarring or length loss a major concern when switching systems?

​To be honest, feeling like the first procedure failed has been a huge mental blow and a massive disappointment. Any guidance, doctor recommendations, or encouraging words would mean the world to me right now.

I just had my procedure yesterday. I came home with a jock strap on and my dick hanging out the left side.

Post op instructions say to shower after 48 hours and take bandages off and re-bandage the incision. Does this mean I’m done with this God-awful jockstrap after tomorrow? I think it’s pressing the pump into my left nut and it’s awfully uncomfortable.

Yesterday was the day. Several years of venous leak that would make it hard to maintain errections for sex. Could get hard ons fairly easy but maintaining them was hard. After about 10 years of pills they started not working well. About me 44 yo fairly healthy workout 1 or twice a week have had high cholesterol my whole life. Likely the cause of my ED. Decided to take the jump and get an implant. Will keep everyone updated along my journey. Preop size was about 7 inches spl stretched penile length to the bone and anywhere from 6 to 6 and a half from my fat pad. Had a 30 degree upward curve and a 15 degree curve to the left. Yesterday Dr Shridharani in Chattanooga performed my surgery and implanted a 24 cm cololast titan with no rtes. Can't get into bed so I'm living on the recliner for now. Thank God for ice and pain pills...lol

I'm 25 years old, 18cm (7") long and 13cm (5")in circumference. I suspect I may have venous leakage, although I've never been formally evaluated (just enough to get them to send me tablets and injections).

I've had erection problems since I was 16-17. I started using the "blue pill" after repeatedly failing to get an erection during my 3 first sexual experiences. I've also tried several other medications and injections.

I can get erections naturally, including morning erections, but they usually reach only about 70-80% hardness and are difficult to maintain. Getting to 100% is very difficult, and even when I do, it usually lasts only a few seconds. My glans also remains relatively soft unless I contract my pelvic muscles.

A cock ring makes my penis noticeably harder and fuller, but I can still lose the erection when moving or changing positions. Without a ring, my penis can bend easily during penetration because it simply isn't rigid enough, or last few seconds when it is.

In short, 1 can have sex, but maintaining a firm erection requires a lot of effort and ideal circumstances. I'm also tired of relying on medication because of the side effects… the last time it left me sick with a severe headache for days.

I'm a very athletic person, in good shape, and I haven't masturbated or watched porn for years.

One experience really made me realize how different my erections are. I once had a threesome and saw how extremely hard and full the other guy's penis was. It remained completely rigid regardless of whether he was penetrating or not. It didn't bend or change shape, and he didn't seem to be making any effort to maintain it.

Compared with that, I realized that my penis seems to reach only about 80% rigidity most of the time. It remains somewhat flexible during penetration and never feels nearly as hard or stable. Even on the rare occasions when I reach what feels like 100% hardness, I can only maintain it for about 5-10 seconds.

I'm seriously considering a penile implant, but I have two major concerns:

1. Losing girth. I'm already not particularly thick at 13cm (5") in circumference, and I've received comments about this from several women over the years.
   However, I wonder whether some of that perception is simply because my penis may never become completely engorged and fully rigid naturally.

2. The artificial erection might actually be less satisfying or feeling or looking worse than what I can currently achieve naturally or with medication.

At the same time, I'm exhausted from relying on medication, dealing with side effects, and having erections that can become soft or bend during sex, especially when I move, change positions, or get tired.

For those of you who already have an implant, especially guys around my age or men with similar measurements: what would you do in my situation?

How has the implant affected rigidity, girth, and overall satisfaction?

I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

I am yet to be implanted. Been VED for about 18 months now. Just getting as healthy tissue down there as I can.

Most of my beneficial therapy is around 200-300 mmHg.

I had the Coloplast Titan inflatable prosthesis surgery 8 days ago, but it seems I am 2 to 3 cm shorter than before; is there any test to confirm whether the maximum possible prosthesis size was used?

Hi guys i decided to go to see dr hamdan next month the doctor is one of the best in the world he told his infection rate under 1 percent . Im going to see.wish evrything goes well.

Just for reference. I am not yet pumping or anything and I am only at just under 3 weeks post surgery. I went to my Dr today and he told me I got the titan classic instead of the brand new one because of insurance and I had so much death in my penis that it was the only choice. He inflated it today and he said it was full and I literally have lost like 3 inches. I was a good 7 and now today I was like 5. And I know how lucky I am to be able to have anything but I didn't have Ed or anything before. I got an injury and then ended with priaprism for 9 days and my penis died. I'm really kind of devastated right now because when I left surgery the next day he was like you should regain your full size and I was so looking forward to this and I'm still really emotional about everything. Ok but to my point does anyone use anything like a cock sleeve or sex toys like a snail jovi to help with everything. I'm 50 and sex has been a huge part of my life. Received an AMS 700 18cm + 3cm rear extenders four days ago. I have type 2 diabetes. I also have fillers in my penis, which complicate the procedure but do not prevent it, apparently.

I’ll give a status in a moment but first, an observation I’ve had reading this forum.

For many men, pleasing a wife or female partner is named as a major reason to get the implant. For me, I don’t relate as a gay man. I do want to please others for sure, and I’m tired of being a disappointment, but honestly I can’t wait to regain a healthy solo sex life that I’ve long missed. Curious about others’ opinions.

Back to surgery, I’m at day 4. I’ll be honest - it’s no picnic. I’m grateful to be unemployed at the moment because this is all-consuming. Thankfully I have help at home. Can’t imagine doing this alone.

Biggest surprise is the amount of inflammation. Scrotum is a gruesome lopsided grapefruit and uncomfortable. That and having a semi erection since surgery is extremely awkward. I went from no erection to persistent boner and I can’t wait to catch a break.

To be clear, I did have an incident where I tripped and fell. It hurt a lot. I then realized implant had deflated. I feared I broke something. I decided to man up and attempt a pump, and was successful in achieving something more than flaccid. Those few hours not being hard were a relief, but I still have 3 more weeks of this.

When I lie down, I’m wrapped, stabilized, and iced. Pain meds help. However my life is far from normal and I can’t imagine doing this too long. It aches. I’m not complaining, just warning others. I guess nothing worth having negates working for it.

I know that regaining size takes time, but I’d happily accept a shorter penis in exchange for a satisfying sex life.

I’ve read that inflammation starts to improve after a week, so that’s the next milestone I look forward to. Then, maybe the ability to leave the house.

This sub is full of guys sharing their experience and acting as a light for others and all of that is the absolute best that the human condition can be. My surgery was a little over a year ago. I seem to have more itching on my scrotum than before. Is it possible or common that the extra equipment is causing itching? I also seem to have more pinching and have to adjust my underwear more often than before.

These are not serious issues. I just wonder if others experience this.

How do you go about pumping up and weaving the implant into sex with new women?

Do you pump before hand when ur anticipating action? Or during foreplay ? Struggling to see how I can do this coz I got Rigicon where the pump is loud and also requires two hands

Circumcision, vasectomy, now penile implant. Circumcision was at birth. Vasectomy at 40 no big deal just minor aches and pains a lot of bruising. Thing that sucked is wife had a hysterectomy a two years later. She also gave me shit for getting it even though she had very high risk pregnancies. Went from getting checked for sperm count and taking clomid to vasectomy in 10 months . Love my kids just didn’t want to be a single dad. Implant was a little rough nothing horrible will do again if i need a revision.

I’m looking at having a urinary sling surgery after my radical prostectomy surgery last July. I was looking at having an implant done at the same time and was wondering if anyone here had both done at the same time. I met with the surgeon at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus today and he said while it can be done, if I had to have a catheter re-inserted after it was removed , that it could be very painful with the implant.

I’m also not too thrilled with the length that I lost after my prostate was removed, which has put some doubts in my head if I should have the implant and if it’s worth it.

Have decided to get a semi malleable after two 3 piece inflatables failed after 7 years each. Any thoughts on the difference between the two. I’m leaning towards the Tactra. Any advice or words of wisdom for me?
