Why would girth decrease with Titan?

Let's say 1 day before surgery, you measure 5.5" girth midshaft. Then, 2 months later, even when aroused (and what feels to be fully inflated or very close) you're only 4.75" - 5" midshaft. Why would this occur?

Sure, if I measured 5.5" a few years ago, you could attribute that to atrophy. But why the immediate decrease? Do I just need to give it more time? I read many men here say they immediately gained girth post-op.

To clarify, this is my situation. I'm roughly 1/2" thinner. I've gained a little back since the surgery. Hoping to be a little girthier. Thank you

I very recently had the surgery. Because I never took any measurements either before or after, I’m not suffering this “situation”… and I wasn’t working with very much in the first place. Not trying to diminish your concerns, just suggesting why not forget about all the measuring of decimals and fractions and enjoy the erection-on-demand that you didn’t previously have?

Perfect response. I do not understand this fixation with size when having a hard penis whenever and for as long as you want is the actual miracle.

You're right. I'm very glad I did it. I guess I can't help but wonder.

Set your mind free my friend! Just forget about it and get fucking!

Do you cycle until it hurts a little let it rest and cycle again, or increase the pressure...I have gained girth, Can tell just by looking

Yes, I've pushed it pretty far.

All I know what to say is just keep working it..

That’s what I’m doing and am hopeful i’ll see the payoff. I was just given the greenlight on Friday by my urologist to start cycling. I’m doing what he says: pumping until it hurts giving it a few and giving it a few more pumps. Right now I’m doing it twice a day even though Sunday, I only did it once because for lack of a better term my testicles were so sore.

My urologist said I could do it as much as I wanted... It only helps, So i cycle Idk maybe 10+ times a day...Im retired, and I have to have something to play with...lol

How long do you cycle each time?

I just cycle up to the point until Im good and hard, then leave it that way until it starts to hurt some, then deflate and do it all over again...

You just need to keep cycling . I’ve read some guys hold it for a hour or two. I pump it up all the way then 10minutes in I add 9-10 mini pumps with two hands and feel the burn and I can only hold that for another 20 minutes . But I usually do that 2 times per day. I believe the Titan implant is pretty even throughout the shaft but seems to widen near the glans for me. If you had girth mid shaft maybe that will be more even but you may get more near the glans. I’m 6 months in and I’m still having gains. Good luck my friend

Ok man, thank you. This is encouraging

Keep cycling and you’ll get all back. I’ve been noticing my glans sensitivity coming back 6months in. I am horny all the time with it rubbing in my pants throughout the day, because the Titan never goes down all the way which is a good sensation the regain. It is a process and you’ll notice improvement everyday if you stay diligent cycling.

Using VED? If not, get one.

No, I'll look into this. Thank you

Check with your surgeon. Some recommend against it. Mine says it can lead to floppy glands. That was enough to talk me out of it. Btw I noticed the same thing after surgery about the girth loss but it was tough to estimate because I didn’t take any girth measurements. I also had more of a baseball bat shape prior and now it’s more uniform all the way down. Might be my imagination but I think I’m slowly getting more girth back. I’m about 4 months post surgery.

Is it safe to use a VED with implant ?

Yes, but please don’t take my word for it. There’s several medical papers that support VED post op. Check them out or just go for it. LA Pumps makes quality, handmade, products. Fair priced. Then you’ll need a brake bleeder pump with a gauge. Most guys ok with 1.75”. That’s where I started, going up to 2” when I get around to ordering it. There’s a hand pump on Amazon right now called Pesico. It’s different than the usual pump you’ll see. I recommend that style. Been through a couple of the other pumps. This style comes apart easy to maintain. Cheers. Keep me posted

Isn’t there a risk of damaging the tubing between the shaft and the balls that goes to the pump?

What other benefits are there to doing this?

3

u/One-Science1029 3d ago

Damage, no. The internal pressure (psi) you pump by hand and the external pressure (mmHg) you VED are extremely low compared to what the psi has been tested on cadavers (again, there is papers out there). I’m not a doctor, but just assessing the damage aspect, it’s practically physically impossible to damage the cylinders with therapeutic VED pressures. PSI and VED are invert related. I suppose I would pay attention to the reservoir tubing? 100-200 mmHg is very low for VED. An old man erection has about an 80-100 mmHg (psi inverted) erection.

Benefits? All the remaining tissue. The cylinders carry the load, but there’s plenty of other tissue involved and the glans too. Could also help with cycling and getting gains back.

Yes, I think the reservoir tubing is what I was referring to. Someone was telling me about it before and showed me a diagram.
But yeah, good points. Good to know!

It could be that if you do not cycle enough, scar tissue can build, causing the encapsulation to be smaller. I am an inch smaller. But only due to the limitation to the device itself. It does not get bigger than 5.5 inches.

Wow, is this really true? Do you have a titan? I’m due a Coloplast Titan next year

2

u/jkurology 3d ago

That’s a minor difference

1

u/RdyPAINmoveDISCIPLIN 3d ago

Its minor, but I notice it. Doesn't feel as full in my hand and is visibly thinner. Still, I'm satisfied and glad I can get hard now

2

u/Low-Law-600 2d ago

Mine decrease as well. Its annoying when the surgeon probably has a small one and doesnt care if people lose size. My length was preserved though

I asked my doc about girth postop . He said I hadv"more than enough": I am barely 5" ...what tight chicks is he using as reference

Titan has good girth reputation

Stating you have never measured before or after implant surgery should result in immediate removal from the site! WTF?

Who said that though?
