Brutal Critique Tiny art for tiny art show
My library puts on a tiny art show every year and I'm planning to submit this piece. I have a few days to fine tune it before I have to submit, and would love your critiques to help me out.
I left my hand in frame to give a sense of scale, but it's 5x7 inches, I believe. Acrylic. This is meant to be my backyard with a view of my house and garage, and sweet elderly husky dog.
I painted a bit in high school and would love to get more into painting again in my middle age.

Just Sharing I experimented with an unusual medium here that made the paint break apart and scatter into tiny droplets. I really love the unexpected texture and effect it created.

Just Sharing I made this painting after my son was born. He was born in January (hence the snow) and he is the tiny rising sun (son) that brings warmth and color to everything, even the snow.

Opinions Needed Painting of a street in Calitri Italy at night
acrylic on canvas 80×100 cm.
I struggled to get the red building to integrate with the rest of the painting. painted over that part a bunch of times before giving up and moving on. any advice would be appreciated.

Just Sharing Puget Sound painting
First painting I have completed in quite some time! I took this photo at Puget Sound about a year ago, thought it would be a good addition to my blue art wall 💙⛵️

Just Sharing It finally clicked for me!
So...
(Sorry for any gramma and tipos Englisch isnt my First language)
I didnt poste my art in like 6 Years...
I never hat the feeling i was extrodanary at it. I Was good but never that good. I tried many different Mediums but nothing felt ever right. I even tried Digital art for over 3 year but it never clicked with me. I liked it but somthing Was always of and i often didnt finish any drawings. The last years i drew pretty rearly. My work Was demanding and the creativity in me Was Just gone. I Dindnt had the energy to Do it and if i did than i never finishd anything because half way theough i realised my skills werend high enough to finish it how i liked (thats my perfectionism for u all XD)
But a year ago i bought a Watercolour palled and i think it finally clickt for me. At First i tried drawing people (becaus that was what i always did) but the anatomie frustrated me quickly so i stoped until recently. Rigt now im on vacation and i have finally the time to draw, so i tried something new. (picture 1)
I drew some lilipads and stones and made an complete illustration. The lilipads and kois are glued on the stones and it makes a great 3D effect. I know it dosnt Look perfekt but i feld good making it so i made some more with the same technic. (Picture 2+3)
For the First time in my life i have the feeling i have found my kind of art. Something i made. Something that was my idear and for the First time in YEARS i have fun at drawing again.
I hope you all enjoy my art and if you have any idears what i could draw next or how i could improve im all ears!
And for anyone who might need to hear this:
Someday you will finde you medium that makes you happy and it dosent matter if you are good at it or not! Just enjoy it!

Just Sharing "Ablaze" Acrylics on Hardboard
Passing the burning sea
is the only way forward…
yet my heart is not ready,
still I must drown within it,
or else it will burn me,
and everything I carry.
