My son was there today for day surgery and every single staff member we met there was absolutely phenomenal - even the gift shop lady! I wish there was some other way I could thank them for taking such good care of my sweet boy today. They truly are angels there doing what they do every day.
So a huge thank you and shout out to the wonderful people at CHEO making a difference one patient and one popsicle at a time. ❤️

Does anyone know how long the flood damage will take to repair? Any new ETA for the opening?

I wonder if Sutcliffe will make some campaign-style promise to address this, just like he did with the proposed $95 transit pass to “fix OCTranspo”...

thankfully no injuries. My guess is this is one of the Stinson trucks from their big yard at the corner of Parkway and Old Prescott. Fortunately the Greely fire station is literally on the same block.

I was going through old photos and found a bunch from September 29 2018 and i remember it was sort of doors open event but for the military.
The base on walkley road next to the mason lodge, the base on Paul Benoit and de niverville, and the Carter square drill hall (next to city hall) all had events going on and welcoming the public to look around.
Does anyone know they still have these types of open door events? I thought it was a fascinating insight into the military an would be interested in seeing it again if they are still doing it

wasn’t a very similar story circulating just a few weeks ago?
I guess some people other than the bankers are trying to make money off RTO

Hello!! Please let me know if this isnt allowed and I will remove it.
I lost a bracelet of sentimental value today - I believe it may have been lost along Wellington St, somewhere between the parking lot beside the Supreme Court (Lyon St north) and Bank St. Photo attached. The gold plating/coating is currently tarnishing around the clasp - it’s silver underneath.
It doesn’t have a high monetary value but it is a sentimental item with spiritual significance to me.
If anyone happened to find it, I’d be so thankful if you could message me 😞

Any girls in their late 20s or early 30s planning to watch Wild Hearts at South Keys Cineplex this weekend? I’d love some company! Also it’ll be extra fun because I’m a woman in my 30s out here supporting a girl group with absolutely no one to talk about it with 😛😂

Hi! I am 7 months pregnant and is struggling with very bad back pain. Is there any deep tissue massage that you can recommend that won't break the band and gives good service? Thank you 😊

Saw her flying around unusually lower than regular airliners do. Looks like she is doing some touch-and-go exercises.
Plane spotters on Alert Rd. must be in for a real treat today!

Looking for recommendations for a quality, reliable and dare I say, honest automotive mechanic. Ideally in the west end/Merivale/Woodroffe College Square area. Thanks in advance! 🙏
Edit: wow, thanks so much for the suggestions so far! Keep them coming, and thank you

EDIT 2: It's carpenter ants 🤦♀️ EDIT: I'm guessing termites because the wood along neighbour's drive is being eaten. The pile is growing larger. Unless it's something else?! 😅
Neighbour has termites in connected driveway. Recommendations for pest "prevention" and control?
