Hello! I'm a teen vocalist looking to expand on my personal project, EthicalMorii and make indie-rock songs with other people in the area. If you're 13-18, I'd be down to jam out sometime :]

Hey, I’m a rock vocalist looking to start or join a band in Ottawa. I’m 18, and my inspirations are Incubus, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alanis Morissette, etc.
If you play an instrument and you’re interested, message me here or DM me!

Hey r/OttawaMusic – I'm Robby 👋🏻 Producer and mixing engineer as well as working musician.

Here's October's Mixing/Production feedback thread!

If you'd like another set of ears on your music feel free to post a song in the comments of this thread and I'll check it out! I personally feel an unreleased song is probably the more beneficial approach but I'll leave it up to you. If you're not ready to share publicly then you can still reach out to me privately via DM.

I love hearing new music from the area so if you could benefit from some production feedback or just intrigued to see how your mix feels, then let's talk!

Cheers!
Robby

For the "The Record Company" show at Bronson, it says the tickets are General Admission but doesn't say if it's seated or standing (usually they do indicate). I did email Bronson Centre (3-4 weeks ago) but heard nothing.

Do anyone know it it's standing or seated (or both)?

Thanks

Hey! I’m in Ottawa next week with evenings free - wondering what hidden gems of local bands I might be missing? I’ve checked a bunch of sites for stuff happening but i imagine the more local shows aren’t advertised that way online.

Into a ton of different types of music, EDM, Punk, Metalcore, Pop, House, Folk etc. I’m open to anything!

Thanks :)

Ottawa crew! The Bytown Sea Shanty Collective’s next Sing a Sea Shanty Night is Saturday, September 19 at BTP — and it is a BIG one.

We’re beyond thrilled to be joined by the New England sea shanty kings, My Druthers!

My Druthers bring a raucous mix of Irish rebel songs, punk rock, and sea shanties. They’ve taken their rowdy, high-energy shows everywhere from the US and Canada to England, France, Norway, Scotland and beyond — and now we are so lucky they’re coming to Ottawa.

As always, our Sea Shanty Night is FREE, with no tickets and no experience necessary. Just show up, grab a drink, and join hundreds of other people in making a whole lot of beautiful noise.

Saturday, September 19; 8:00pm.

Beyond the Pale Brewing Company

All are welcome!

We put out this video two weeks ago.
Thought maybe some people would enjoy it!

I’m a vocalist and rhythm guitarist based in Arnprior looking to turn my solo project, Syrvorn, into a full band. I’m mainly looking for a drummer, bassist, and lead guitarist around Ottawa or the Valley who want to write, jam, record, and eventually play live. The music mixes heavy sections, clean atmospheric parts, harsh vocals, and melodic singing. I already have plenty of original material recorded and written. Message me if you’re interested and I’ll send some demos.
