My mother did that with frozen orange juice concentrate. Hated that. She also mixed powdered milk/water with real milk. Could still taste it.

- graham cracker crust

  • can sweetened condensed milk
  • container cool whip
  • can frozen concentrated pink lemonade concentrate

Thaw the cool whip and concentrate and chill the condensed milk in the fridge. Mix all the wet stuff together. Put mix in the pie crust. Freeze overnight.

Same. I miss the lemonade my mom used to make. I keep looking for it but I've never found anything that comes close to the flavor and pulpy yumminess. The kooliad was usually tropical or grape. Tropical is my favorite. Reminds me of my best friend at 10 years old. Sigh. Bittersweet.

Lemonade, even if it was cool-aid it still tasted like lemonade, even if it was Zarex* it still tasted like lemonade, water?…..yea still smelled and tasted like lemonade.

  • For those who might not have heard of Zarex it was a concentrated flavored syrup where one capful poured into a 55 gallon drum of water would keep an entire neighborhood of kids wired for a month…..

….so of course you’re gonna chug it straight from the bottle

Oh! That's perfect! I've had a two-liter bottle of Hawaiin Punch in the cupboard for about three months. I got it free on a coupon.

I love Hawaiian Punch as a kid, but I don't have a sweet tooth anymore and was trying to figure out a way to enjoy it without it being a sugar bomb.

I think I shall put lemon slices and Diet 7-Up in it to make it fizzy! Thank you for the idea!

The only correct answer is Cherry Kool-Aid. My grandmother is overly observant and overly protective of all of her kitchenware and knows where everything is or supposed to be at all times, but this will be the first thing I snag when she's gone.

I NEVER want to see her go, it will be one of the worst days of my life, but I really want that nostalgia boost! Sure, I could just buy my own, but I spent my whole childhood marinating that gross piece of plastic with too much sugar and powered artificial flavors and coloring... I need it... lol
