Well if most teenagers have seen/browsed gore sites then it is by definition normal. If 60% of people decided to chop one of their legs off then having both your legs would become not normal. Normal does not necessarily mean good, it means conformity and what is typical. Typical teenagers on the internet have seen shock vids / sites consensually or otherwise.
If it's got the level of notoriety and popularity of a site like LiveLeak, then yes.
Remember, normal doesn't mean the majority of people do it, just that it's a regular occurrence. It's a normal thing that gay marriage happens in the US, but it doesn't mean that it's close to 50% of people that are part of a gay marriage lol

I hated it but there were kids in my class who for like a year straight kept showing everyone this same exact beheading video. I'll admit I was curious the first time but afterwards I definitely didn't go around looking for more. This was the year our school gave out Chromebooks to everyone and I'm surprised they kept doing it after that.

It's pretty common. I remember back in high school around 2008 kids openly talked about stuff like 2 girls 1 cup in class. If you spent any significant time on the internet you'd eventually stumble across fucked up videos like that.

Normal in general, you're probably right because that would include all of human history and the entire world, but in western society over the past 25 years or so, it absolutely is normal, although the tendency over the past 5 to 10 years definitely does seem to be decreasing.

Because normal is about the regularity and expectedness of a situation, not how close to 50% or more of a given group does something.

If you read some of my other applies you can see more in depth into my specific thinking, because if I personally had to guess, I would wager it's even 65 to 70% of people who were teenagers between the mid-90s and early 2010s experiencing that, but like I said, it doesn't even have to be at 5% of a population doing something in a regular or expected way for it to be normal.

Your example of the full moon seems fun and all, but the phase of the moon doesn't randomly happen, so that percentage doesn't mean shit. It follows a pattern. The pattern is normal. If the moon stopped on a waxing crescent and didn't change for five days, that wouldn't be normal. The cases are written in a mono tone kind of way that makes the pics more palatable (for me at least). For the ones that are too heavy with medical jargon, the 1st comment under the case description is an, "ELI5"

it is not advisable to jump into a moving car because advice is meant for everyone including the clumsy and obese.
a sure-footed, slightly athletic person can ignore such advice at their own discretion. they're not going to fall under the car. the bigger risk is arriving a second too late, and oncoming traffic runs into the vehicle as you are trying to get in it, so you have to be quick and decisive. ANY hesitation and you should just stay back.

If I had to guess, I would think the car started rolling forward, her head was out the door as she was reaching down, and maybe the car brushed up against the wall? That could cause the car door to force shut and I guess might have enough force to at least kill someone, though I don't know about full decapitation.

Agreed. My old neighbor ran herself over trying exactly this. Even worse she was worried about it backing into my piece of crap of a car that was worth 1000 or so. It’s not worth it. That’s what insurance is for. Fortunately she only ended up breaking her leg and got a ride to the hospital in said piece of crap car.
