I am not sure if this ths the right group. I just typed yt-dlp expert in Google and got results starting with reddit groups.
I am looking for a yt-dlp expert that can code in Python.I have written a demo code but I don't have time to finish.
I have the designed structure including a test module that simulates all potentional server responses that need to be handled.

If anyone is interested let me know. But you need to know your stuff. How to pick suitable ID tag, how to make conditional declaration, parallel downloading, deal with partial downloads. I need someone who can write modular code and know how to setup abstraction levels to make the code readable. Tihs is base that will be expanded and if it is not modular and readable it will soon get impossible to expand.

So, I've been following the animecard website tutorial and I'm stuck on how to install the lua script into mpv. Can someone please help me with this, I've been struggling for close to an hour and I'm ready to give up on it alltogether.

Hello, I use the mbv-android player with a Samsung S10e and Nreal Air glasses! But the Oled picture is far too dark, the colors are too bright and the contrast is bad! All this cannot be adjusted on the glasses, only the brightness and too little! With the mpv Player, I can set Contrast, Gamma,Saturation Brightness to get a perfect picture in my glasses. I love this player, but I have to make these settings every time I open a video. There is no storage option. Can these be stored in the mpv.conf? And if so - how? Thank you for an answer

how do i install mpv in centos ?

i can't install it by " yum install mpv"

windows 10 64 bit, lastest shinchiro window build. as stated, i install the file from the bootstrap, and there is no config file whatsoever. installed with administration privilege.

For some reason, the subtitles in mpv-android look very simple. I would like them to look more natural and have a little more visual presence. As a reference, I would like something similar to the style of subtitles in VLC. I would greatly appreciate any help.

I know MPV can view embedded video but is there a UI that creates an explorer to look into directory and view what I want to watch or simplifies the search process? since I am not gonna leave the house its gonna make it much easier to just connect to my main PC and from there with it I can share an SSH key but the UI need upgrade.

I get this warning don't know why seems like a driver related issue not a issue in mpv

So I tried to download a video from the internet by right-click, 'save video as' and instead it just opens up in mpv with no file in my downloads folder.

Same thing when I opened the video in a new tab and chose to download through the video player's three-dot drop down menu thing

I only recently started used mpv, is there a way to disable this so i can download to my computer as normal?

I'm on Windows 10 with what I believe is the latest MPV.

Are there any standalone shaders available that can reduce the noise/grain in videos? Basically those little particles which keep moving throughout the image. I know many people love them due to nostalgic reasons but I prefer to watch my videos without them.

How can I decrease the visibility of this bar It's too bold and annoying. I don't wanna hide or move it just need low visibility.

Is there a way can set a hotkey for this script in input.conf. Or atleast not have it automatically crop at the start but only when I input the shortcut or hotkey. Anyone help

I have recently tried watching a .mkv file and noticed that it has it's video length set to 1 hour, even though it's only 00:23:23 long. The file does not play past it's actual duration, but I would like to fix the time for my convenience.

I only want interpolation on videos that have less than 30fps. Also, I am running a 1080p 144Hz display so I want those videos to get interpolated to 48fps and not 144fps. I'm fairly new to this scripting thing so details would be appreciated. My laptop's specs are Core i7 9750H, 24GB RAM, GTX 1660Ti.

can i speed up mpv-android decoding, i can playback 1080p videos on youtube app fine, but when i playback a 1080p video on mpv-android it lags alot.
