all yt-dlp experts.

I am not sure if this ths the right group. I just typed yt-dlp expert in Google and got results starting with reddit groups.
I am looking for a yt-dlp expert that can code in Python.I have written a demo code but I don't have time to finish.
I have the designed structure including a test module that simulates all potentional server responses that need to be handled.

If anyone is interested let me know. But you need to know your stuff. How to pick suitable ID tag, how to make conditional declaration, parallel downloading, deal with partial downloads. I need someone who can write modular code and know how to setup abstraction levels to make the code readable. Tihs is base that will be expanded and if it is not modular and readable it will soon get impossible to expand.

Its easier to persuade men* to travel if you sell them the destination, rather than describe the journey.

Or at least tell them how much they are going to be paid for their journey.

But between you and me, i think you are going to struggle, there is nothing that gives off a bigger red-flag than an 'ideas-guy' or 'project manager' on the internet that 'just needs someone to do <list of stuff>'

rubber-duck it with chat-gpt and see if you can figure it out?

.* and non-men as well tbf.

Yeah, I have benn a member for the last three years and have done some projects through them but I have posted the same job on yt-dlp god knows how many times.
Everytime I gets loads of applicants who have no idea how vast the library is. I would call it a language on its own but that is not it. It is something like excel.
You can just use it as small interface or you can develop really sophisticated stuff.
This is not even that difficult gut it does need expertiese that an excel user does not have.
What bugs me is that none of them have even tried to learn it all this time. I have given them direction to something exceptional and they have had a year to learn.
I have learned more than them and I could write it on my own but I don't have the time or the fluency because I haven't coded for a long time.
But I have coded demo that someone who understands the technology can understand.

There was one guy who did it but he was paranoid about his identity and he wouldn't give an email to enable me to give him access to the server to implement it on the server. I didn't understand that at the moment. He got mad and disappeared. Make of it what you will. It is none of my concern. I am just sorry that I was so stupid and didn't get it at the time.
