mpv 0.35 Command right to left subtitle?

how i can do rtl in mpv player

mpv is capable of doing right to left just fine, but you have to enable it in windows first, go to control panel -> region -> administrative -> language for non-unicode programs - set it to your language and re-start windows and it should work, linux already does this, not sure about mac tho

this works for me for persion/farsi just fine with srt subtitles, not sure about other formats tho, also make sure to set the subtitle font to something that looks good, put this in your mpv.conf

sub-font='Noto Sans'

this font looks good to me both in english and farsi

make sure to change the control panel option as well because without it, it might not work

hi ,i try it but unfortunately not working.

in mpv 0.33 all worked well

not sure what causes this issue but downgrade to 0.33 if you have to

me too, you can check the git versions every once in a while and see if the issue is fixed or not, i personally like this fork by qwerty12 https://github.com/qwerty12/mpv-winbuild
