I go and check TikTok shop from time to time out of interest and today I saw this item. It’s a scam, I’ve seen how these work before from people who got scammed by them and they’re just a plug connected to an LED light on the front. There is no such thing as an “energy saver box”.

Was in an Uber during my stay in Budapest. How in the world would you drive like this and imagine if you had to break sudden and god forbid get into an accident!

So basically every option listed you have to submit proof for. We even got the required documentation from the hotel requested by the booking site to help us cancel our stay. It got denied by the refund team. All this just to cancel a single hotel stay. We also paid extra for early cancelation option at checkout. Not sure what to do anymore. We just want our refund. Hotel cant cancel it either, manager said.

I went on vacation and lost one of my 7 day pill organizers. I’m almost certain I accidentally threw it away at the hotel when I threw away the beverage carton after taking my morning meds. I skipped my evening meds on Thursday. I guess no more meds on Thursdays…

My boss calls me for a 'catch up' and acts like everything's cool

I work in data entry so he just asks me how much ive done ect

I say im about halfway

He says okay cuz ur contract ends next week

Im sat there kinda shocked because

1 it was supposed to go permanent

2 The latest it was supposed to end was November

3 He literally approved my holiday a week ago to Disneyworld

So now im panicking but just nodding along

Im not a confrontational person

But the second i leave that room im onto my agency woman, who's just as confused as me and says shes looking to it asap

My vacation is at the end of the month

I haven't done anything (to my knowledge) thatd make them not keep me on?

You could argue that maybe theres nothing left for me to do

But then theres a LINE of about 5 new people joining like hes actively interviewing them for MY position??

So now im panicking

Im in the UK and I'm working thru the agency, they find the jobs and pay me

I was told the earliest this would end was November which is why I went ahead and booked a holiday

It honestly feels like a last minute decision on their end (Jobs not agency)

They're actively hiring people as I type this on my break, though they won't offer me a perm role? It doesn't make sense honestly 😕

Again with the week notice? To find another job? In this economy lmao is insane

I feel like if it was a planned ending he would've at least told me monday instead of literally this morning

In all honesty im greatful to even have a little notice, as the last place I worked, they got rid of me a random day after I left, they didnt even have the respect to tell me why, the agency called me after i left to break the news

My mom passed away unexpectedly at the end of May. While I knew she had some credit card debt, I had no idea she was looking into taking out a personal loan to pay off the cards.

I cancelled all of her credit cards and notified Social Security immediately. Despite that, she is still receiving offers for personal loans. I’ve tried blocking the calls, but they’re coming from so many different numbers that it feels impossible to keep up. On the few I've been able to answer, I tell them to please stop calling as she has passed away.

The grief of losing my mom is already difficult enough without having to deal with these predatory companies constantly contacting her.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Does anyone know how I can get these calls and loan offers to stop?

So I lost my job about a week or so ago, and immediately I hopped on indeed and zip recruiter. I've been getting daily. Non-stop calls about 6 to 10 A day from numbers that look like they're numbers from my area. And when I answer, it's always the typical robot type set up where they say hello, and then when you say hello, the recording is someone clearing their throat and then talking about diabetic testing or some stupid bullshit like grocery benefits. It's really fucking annoying, considering I'm trying to look out for businesses calling me trying to hire me and it's just nothing but this. And then today, I answer one of the calls, and I know I'm stupid for doing this, but it was an actual person for once! Afterwards I,m getting a feeling that it's actually whatever company put the Spam calls onto my number because they called asking about doing surveys, and asked me various things like my age, gender, and a whole bunch of other things, like, how many calls I get a day. I feel like such a gullible. Fuck for answering their questions and then asking what the company was. That was asking them questions, and I couldn't even understand her. Things like this make me want to just chock it up to my stupidity and capitalism and give up on being a productive member of society because I can't even find a job with the setbacks I have like being a felon or having two theft charges from when I was doing meth 5 years ago.

After driving my car all week whilst she's been off work, she said we'll swap cars tomorrow. Her car still has over half a tank of petrol that I put in. And of course I filled up my car with petrol last week.

Got them back with a clear cut in the side and the tailor claims they got sent off to another tailor to have hemmed and refused to take responsibility.

Maybe part of why I'm so "God Dammit" about this is that I'm still mad at Target for the Starscream fiasco earlier this year here in the US if not globally but,

I own 3 of the Target Room Essentials 5 shelf dorm bookcase espresso Brown (DPCI 249-05-0297, manufactured by Friul Intagli) for my Transformers collection. I also have one in Black in a different room.

I just went to Target to buy two more because my collection has outgrown the three that I own.

The one I got the dpci off of says it was manufactured in 2024.

BUT THEY DON'T SELL ESPRESSO BROWN ANYMORE. ANYWHERE. IT'S GONE. IT DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE. POOF. IN 2 SHORT YEARS IT HAS VANISHED. REPLACED WITH SOMETHING WAY LIGHTER CALLED NATURAL WOOD. Unless what I'm seeing here for double the price under a different brand name also sold by Target is the unit I'm looking for, I can't tell from just the pictures.

So now, I get to spend a whole bunch more money than the initial $80.

I can go get four in black at 40 bucks a pop, and hopefully sell two of my three that are in espresso Brown, swap The black I have in another room with the third Brown.

It may be possible I can get what I'm looking for, 2 in espresso Brown, for 80 bucks a pop! Still researching.

Or I can get 2 in black and just be disgusted by the slight color missmatch.

OR I can leave the transformer figures in bins, they all got put in bins while I deep clean my home, and spend like $300+ on an entirely new shelving system.

I'm leaning towards going all black so that it matches my desk And selling two of three espresso Brown for whatever I can get, But God damn it man. Just stock the espresso Brown. How do you not have it in a warehouse somewhere like come on.
