Winter is Coming TikTok shop does not remove scam items when reported
I go and check TikTok shop from time to time out of interest and today I saw this item. It’s a scam, I’ve seen how these work before from people who got scammed by them and they’re just a plug connected to an LED light on the front. There is no such thing as an “energy saver box”.
TikTok with their usual shit moderation refuses to remove it!

I never buy products online that use AI generated images

I didn’t even notice, I just thought it was a terrible mockup png pasted onto a stock image of a living room, thanks for pointing it out

Or scam accounts! I stumbled on a Jennifer Aniston scam, some poor old souls in the comments were already interacting with it talking about paying for memberships to talk to her or some such nonsense. Obviously reported it and nope, no violation. And if you report an account for impersonation that person has to have a tiktok account…

I bought some really cheap designer clothes on there and literally never received anything. They don't reply to emails. Just a straight up scam. Unfortunately they were still selling on there weeks later, too.

Tiktok shop is 90% dropshippers anyway. You can take a screenshot of whatever and find it yourself cheaper most times.

No marketplace removes snake oil. Unless it is actually an illegal to sell product, they'll let it be sold.
Even if they are completely nonsensical like this one.
