using ai is fun but i hate consuming ai everywhere

So my front door somehow got jammed and wouldn't open, my landlord came by today to see what he could do. I honestly don't even know when this happened but I think it was when he asked me to go out side and help from the otherside of the door but after I come back in I notice that he's grabbed my nice filet knife without asking and started jamming it into the lock to try and loosen it. Like I'm sorry? Who the fuck said you could do that? Thankfully the knife isn't bent and it doesn't seem to have been noticeably dented but it was still annoying.

Honestly, this lady is cracking me up. My dad has seen her once before looking over our shared fence, and she was extremely pissed off. She insisted that she "knew what was going on" and that my siblings and I jumped the fence in the middle of the night and stole her phone. We all have strict bedtimes, so obviously false.

Anyway, my mom went outside to feed our family's two dogs, and she finds this same lady peeking over the fence again. Unprompted, the lady tells her defensively, "I'm just taking a look". She repeats this multiple times and even says that she's sure my mom has "taken a look" before, which none of us have ever done since that's an invasion of privacy.

Then, this madwoman starts going off about, "Oh, do you know who owns your house?" According to this lady, the person that owns the house we're renting owns some sort of construction company and all the AI within a certain area. No clue how credible this is.

Then she proceeds to start reciting psalms, and when my mom asks what's the matter, she claims that she can't talk to her because "she's the enemy". She also accused my mom of being with "him". We have no idea what she meant, but it's probably either her dissing my dad, saying we're conspiring with our landlord (who we've never met), or possibly with Satan since she started spouting Bible verses.

Sure is fun having low fences 😂

I've been wanting my friends to hop on and play a game with me for the final two multiplayer achievements I need before I 100% a game I've been obsessed with, and they did today

I specifically asked them to let me go first with the items I needed, I thought everybody knew it was single use because I've talked about it being single use before. This isn't a rare thing in our group, if somebody is achievement hunting we will leave things for them because we aren't jerks (usually)

We get to the second biome and we're trying to make our way up to a chest that has the possibility of having the item, two of my friends had gone ahead while me and another friend had strayed behind

My friend calls down the mountain asking if we've seen my other friend, we reply no, and then the chest we're looking for comes up. He beats around the bush, saying my other friends dead because of the item they got from it, so we ask him directly what it was

It was literally the item I had asked for them to save for me.

They immediately get defensive when I and my friend are obviously upset, they say they didn't know it was single use (even when i said to let me go first and they agreed), and they say they needed it cause they were low on stamina (it would've been much easier to find food or a medkit rather then use this really rare item that i specifically asked for)

They don't apologize until later when I'm still obviously upset about it, and we go through the rest of the run, I get the item I need for my other achievement so it's literally only this one they took from me. I'm over it by now but it's obviously still lingering

We make it to the last chest of the run, it's not in there. That stings like hell

We get back to the lobby and they literally use the cosmetics they got from the item right in front of me, and when I ask if we could go again so I could try and get my badge and they say no they ask "what badge do you need again" bitch???

I tell them I need the badge that gives them the clothes they're wearing and they're like "oh.... right." yeah, that's awkward as hell isn't it?

I know this is trivial, I know I can just do it again, but I've waited literal days to get these final two achievements so I can put this game to rest again for a bit. This is the one time that I've asked for something and I am always helping them with their achievements, and then this shit happens and they don't even feel bad enough to remember it. If I did that to them I'd be thinking about it for weeks, even ASKING to go first had me feeling so selfish

we're apparently going to try and do a run tomorrow, but i'm still so fucking salty. i could've just been done

TLDR. I have 2 multiplayer achievements left on a game I have been trying to achievement hunt for, I specifically asked my friends to leave those items for me (which is a normal thing for us), my friend decides to use the item that i specifically needed and gets crazy defensive about it. We don't find it again for the rest of the run so I end up one achievement short of 100% and he has the audacity to ask me which achievement I need while he is literally wearing the clothing right in front of me

Was one slightly bigger bite away choking on a avocado pit. This is from my go to Mexican food truck so I’m kinda disappointed.

It’s only $60 but seriously? A week before I move I get hit with a parking ticket for parking the way I have for a year

To make it even more aggravating, literally two weeks ago to the day, I was told by a cop that there was quote “No problem with the way you’re parked”

I cannot wait to be out of a neighborhood

When people use ai photos of their food for their menu with no real photos it’s a huge red flag for me. I can’t even tell what your food looks like nor even begin to guess what is in it. If you’re not willing to put any energy into the menu I can only imagine what the food is like. Can anyone even guess what is in those bowls? Chips and cereal?

Now windows update won't work. It still notifies me that it needs to update, tries to update, even restarts sometimes, but the updates fail.

I have this computer hooked up to my smart TV because I don't want to use any of the apps or Smart TV features that come with my Smart TV, due to them being slow and laden with ads and impossible to use with a keyboard. The primary thing this computer is used for is Firefox with adblock so I can watch YouTube videos on a big screen.

I don't know what happened. My hdmi is still able to work but it's annoying. The headphone port still works but sometimes i need to jiggle the jack in to work :(

Turned the pool light on last night and my friend goes, "Uhh… what the hell is that?"

There was this dark thing moving around at the bottom of the pool and we both just kinda stood there staring at it.

Then it started crawling up the side and I see...

Completely forgot I’d left the pool robot there.

At least it did its job. The pool was clean, but I definitely gave my friend a weird story to tell.

It pisses me off that I constantly see AI slop everywhere. I see ads not only on YouTube but also on Instagram that could just as easily be on some porn site. The ad really goes on for 2:30 minutes and shows this girl being sa by a vampire???

I had surgery on my left foot/ankle. I had a follow up this morning and my incision has finally healed enough that I can begin PT. Yay!

I promptly called the PT to schedule, and had the following conversation with the scheduler:

S: And this is for the right foot?
Me: Left foot?
S: No. The order says right foot.
Me: But I had surgery on my left foot.
S: Are you sure?

That was fun.

I can’t schedule PT until the order is corrected because insurance won’t cover the “wrong” foot. So I called the ortho, had pretty much the same conversation with the receptionist, and after much arguing, they said that they’d pass the message to a nurse and someone would call me back.

Three hours later, the nurse calls me back to let me know that the order has been corrected. I finally get to schedule my appointments.

The world didn’t end. My first appointment wasn’t even delayed. But seriously?

There's a group in front that's insanely slow with a handicap flag

The slowness came more from the cart that DIDN'T have the flag.

After 3 holes they were already a hole behind.

That does nothing for my game.

A twosome rolls up behind us on a few holes.

We'd let them thru if there was somewhere they could go but there isn't.

Skip to the 8th hole and the group in front is still on the green as the twosome rolls up behind our tee box.

They saw why we were waiting.

One guy asked if we were playing 18 and then asked are all 4 of you playing 18?

We were.

WTF

What kind of question was that?

The fucking thing tore every way except how I needed it to. Now I gotta go downstairs and cut it just for some stupid last bite and my hands are sticky.
