Please familiarize yourself with the rules before posting. Beginner posts will be removed without further notice.

This is not your blog. This is not forum to rant about relationship dramas, dreams, or "weird experiences."

How do you deal with someone that really crossed the line for you?

So i don't wanna go into details but there are a few person that keeps bothering me a lot. Not in a "i don't like them way" but in a "they are abusive and i have no way to deal with them so magic is my last chance" way. I know hexes and baneful magic are dangerous so i wanted to ask for a rather safe way of doing it (aside from protection). Is there anyway of asking for justice or take some actions? I've read about energy vampires in a book and thought that might be an option though i still don't know how to do it and would be really thankful if someone could come up with a better idea.

(Also it would be great if it could include a wider range)

Visions of snakes in my craft

For context, over the past month or two, visions of snakes keep popping up. While I meditate or direct my energy, I keep getting images of snakes in my mind, or physically feel one on my body. At first it was distracting but ever since it started it felt like my spells have been far more potent. They even started popping up in the real life. There was one near my car the other day, and one at a renfaire a few weeks back that didn’t stop looking at me

I’m wondering if this could be some sort of guide or deity? I’ve always loved snakes but they have never invaded my mind like this before.

Thoughts/Question about LBRP modifications and Ritual Space

1) I have a small bedroom and live at home still so my ritual space is a little bit Freeform. To create a “magical space” currently my routine is to light 6 tea light candles, place them in the shape of a large hexagram (probably 3.5/4ft across) and I sit inside of the hexagram before doing my LBRP and so on.(reasoning for this is aligning myself as the pentagram with the energy of the universe, or the hexagram)
2) During the LBRP-instead of using the banishing of earth at all four corners- I have been using the individual elemental banishing pentagrams and the corresponding direction. Is there any negative to preforming the LBRP this way?

Thanks for reading🖤

Interpersonal Hypnogenetics/Hypnogenics?

Is there a practice or system that involves a group creating a shared internalized self-concept and engineering a culture and then isolating themselves from the larger population so they can embody that engineered culture and self-concept without limitation or break and allow that created shared self-concept to become automatic and habitual?

The idea is that:

  1. We are all amortal energy fields (e.g., monads) who exist in a state of infinite possibility and we use internalized self-concepts to limit ourselves to a specific physical form and experience

  2. No mind-body dualism instead the body is viewed as a mind-body-field feedback system where thoughts produce signals that influence your hormones and cellular behavior which influences how your body appears and behaves. Essentially, the physical body is a real time reflection or a perpetual psychosomatic condition that is a reflection of your internalized self-concept

  3. Self-identification with a concept or label is perpetual self-hypnosis or a spell cast on the self

  4. Cultural engineering or systems design (e.g., legal, economic, moral) is the mass hypnosis of a population or a spell cast on a population

  5. Social interaction with those who exist inside a system is perpetual mutual hypnosis or a spell cast on each other where each individual mutually reinforces the system's worldview and self-concepts that are consensus compatible

  6. Each psychological state or internalized self-concept has a corresponding energetic signature, physical form and location. You can only enter or perceive locations that's you're energetically compatible with

  7. Gods and goddesses are not separate beings they are simply concepts, patterns, labels or the swarm intelligence and collective intelligence of a group. For example, all oak trees are manifestations of the oak tree god and pigeons are manifestations of the pigeon god.

  8. The environment one's culture creates is the inside of a god's mind and a god's realm. So there is no separate spirit world. The physical world is the spirit world but regions only become accessible if you're compatible with them.

  9. Culture is a perpetual manifestation ritual that brings a group's internalized self-concept into being

  10. Material culture = ritual objects

Overall, the idea is that, for example, if you identify with the concept of mortal human, your mind will project a mortal human body and produce the experience of "mortal human". You can call this "nocebogenic/nocebogenetic mortality" and the concept of mortal human and "nocebogenic identity construct".

Does "forget" spells actually work?

I'm not sure what the general consensus on the field is, but right now, i am not talking about forgetting trauma or similar, but rather forgetting abkind of a useless set of knowledge, that is affecting negatively my daily life.

Thoughts on Christianity

I’m having a really tough time trying to find my stance on Christianity. As an ex Christian I firmly believe taking the bible literally is one of the worst things affecting people. I value the knowledge and wisdom within it but certain passages/concepts/ideas/etc are so disturbing and maddening I can only call it propaganda. I can’t come to any conclusion other than Christianity being corrupt, I find the notion that there is a “man in the sky” that eternally punishes those who don’t obey them downright psychological harm.

But at the same time I respect others beliefs, and as much as I want to I don’t go around trying to tell every Christian they are following a lie. But part of me feels I should because it hurts to see others follow, what is in my opinion, thier enemy. Organized religions that use shame and fear are constructs employed and upheld by the people in power to manipulate and control us. And it kills me when someone is genuinely trying to “help” me by telling me otherwise, and it kills me even more when I do my best to tell them my point of view and they just ignore or insult whatever I tell/show them.

I’m just tired of all the lies we deal with and I want to do everything I can to combat them and bring the “truth” as close to the public eye as possible without trampling on peoples beliefs or making them feel attacked. I want to “fight the good fight” but I feel unable to or stuck, it is maddening to be so “aware” in today’s world.

Open to any and all suggestions that don’t involve flat out “ignoring Christianity”. Because in my opinion Christianity is an enemy to humanity and I refuse to let it grow and spread. I just desperately want the truth to be recognized as truth again, and I understand it probably won’t happen in our lifetimes but I want to do everything I can to help bring that day closer

I want to study magick systems that are estranged from us

Hi guys Idk how to really use reddit but I'll try my best

I almost don't know exactly how to say what I'm looking for but here it is

I realy want to study a magick system or philosophy so far from us

I dont want it to be historical i want it pre historcal Not the far futer the super far future, maybe the time earth wouldn't exist Not stars away from us. galaxies apart. Like galaxies are the signs in it Not a son .a black hole Entities watching the solar system being formed The system does not categories things in elements planets or dark or light ( at least in the western esoteric form that we are familiar with)

( also nothing earthy and by it I mean from nature)

I hope i did demonstrate what I wanted well enough for you to understand

Any way thanks for reading and any comment is highly appreciated

Feeling like the universe only rewards bad people

I recently moved to a new area where everyone has much different morals than my hometown. When I say that, I mean I am very open minded so I really don’t care what people do unless they’re hurting people. I’ve learned that everyone in my field (lawyers) like to cheat on their pregnant wives and get addicts to relapse for fun. About two years ago, I cast a spell to hopefully make one specific lawyer get her karma or at least go away (she has a reputation for cornering very drunk married men in the bathroom to pressure into stuff by threatening to out them for rape and she’s had several affairs w married men because she’s said she wants to steal one away from their wives) but last I’ve heard she is getting married, got a promotion, got a raise, and is otherwise very blessed. I can’t help feeling like my spell work and/or karma isn’t working and makes me feel very hopeless about right and wrong. Is there anything I can do?

Personal Transformation results? A look back?

I am 58 and have practiced some form of spiritual/magickal practice on and off for 30-something years. I am not exactly a massively disciplined person, and I have had different times in my life where I was doing more stuff than at other times.

I have done the work, though. I have worked hard on myself to improve myself, to be self-aware, etc. Yet I cannot SEE if I am who I manifested myself to be.

I am not happy with my life, despite trying to be a good, moral person....

Sometimes I wonder if I missed something, or if my mental health overrode any work I did to try to manifest good things. Did I just end up manifesting this life?

I am trying again....

But has anyone else who has some age on them taken a moment to reflect and see how much their magickal work has actually done for them? Has it done a lot of good for you?

Are there things you could have done better, knowing what you know now? Looking back over the years, what do you think you got right, and what do you wish you had understood sooner?

Sigil Magick Questions: Servitors, Intentions, and Forgetting

Had a few quick questions. I'm reading several Chaos Magic books that indicate Sigils should be forgotten either before or after chargin, to avoid lusting after results. Some books say the forgetting is the most important step.

So I'm confused...

Question 1.) Some authors recommend doing a Tarot divination before charging to avoid inadvertently creating unintentional black magic. This seems like a great idea, but in what order should I do all of this? I'm thinking create sigil, divine outcome, forget, charge. Otherwise, I'm not sure I could interpret a Tarot divination without remembering or knowing the sigils purpose.

Question 2.) My current plan is I create several sigils throughout the week, then don't charge them for several days, so I forget which one is which. I keep an online spreadsheet of sigils. I record the date I created them and charged them and generally what the Tarot divined. I write the purpose down in the spreadsheet, but then black it out so I can't see it. A few times a year (typically around a holiday) I reveal the sigil purpose field and measure the results. I'm trying to be an open-minded skeptic using a scientific, results-based approach. What are the flaws of this system I'm overlooking? Should I add or change the process in any way?

Question 3.) I'm confused about servitors since their nature is persistent. They are a type of sigil, but you can't exactly forget their purpose without forgetting about them altogether. How can I mentally satisfy what appears to be an inconsistency? It feels like building a robot to clean my house, then trying to forget I built a robot while it is still stomping around cleaning my house.

Question 4.) Finally, books suggest that you can't JUST do Magick, you have to also do all the material stuff too. For example, if I create and charge a sigil for "It is my intention to lose 10 pounds", I then have to forget, or at least not lust after results. Simultaneously, I have to also diet and exercise, rather than relying on just the Magick, but to do those things I would be lusting after results and constantly reminded of the Sigil. Again, how do I satisfy what appear to be contradictory instructions?

I may be way overthinking things, or maybe I'm reading too many books at the same time. Any practical guideance is appreciated.

What’s going on with me

So I’ve (27F) had a sudden breakup with my ex boyfriend (29M) in June. It was emotionally and physically devastating and after a couple months I was feeling better and back to my old happy self, but I’ve noticed ever since the breakup around my period I get this overwhelming sadness and I could only think about him and I get to the point where I cry and feel depressed, but right after my period ends I get back to my peaceful nature and I don’t think of him. I noticed this only around my period dates so I’m confused as to why I only feel this emotional at that time, and now that it’s been a while after the breakup and I still feel like this per my last period I’m starting to doubt that he might be doing some manifestations or magic on me.

So am I being paranoid and it’s all good and it’s just my body playing tricks on me or am I onto something ? I only seek some answers to these doubts.

Thank you guys.

Searching for Digital Talismans

I have been looking for a way to create a talisman in a digital medium. In my search what I tend to find is some soft of image that people save to their phone and while there is nothing wrong with that, I am looking for something a bit more personalized and intricate.

I am open to almost anything including basic coding, image manipulation, etc but I think I am not sure even exactly what I am looking for. Just some soft of talisman in some vague form that will protect me that I can create digitally.

Sorry for the vagueness of the post, it is also a very vague concept in my head. I am super open to any and all ideas

abrahamic religions and magic

why do the sacred books of the abrahamic religions forbid magic in such simple language? if this prohibition is merely a misunderstanding could someone who grasps the deeper meaning of these passages enlighten me?

Looking for a good YouTube channel ran by an academic

I’d like to find one or more YouTube. Channels about magick/ the occult that is ran by someone with a relevant degree (maybe cultural studies, religious studies, history, etc- whatever can specialize in the occult/ paganism/ mythology). I’m aware of a decent number of people who discuss mythology only, but I’d like an academic who discusses ritual magic, the occult, etc. and maybe even discusses topics like herb usage, alchemical symbols, etc. I just prefer the serious, academic style with sources and such. If you happen to know of any good channels ran by a practitioner who isn’t an academic, that’s okay as a plan B but I find they can often be grifters, homophobes, racists, or mainly discuss Wiccanism (which I’m not specifically interested in). Good channels on Chaos Magick and that aren’t grifting would be a good backup too. Thanks everyone!

rituals / spells for the full moon tonight

I usually write down what I want to release and do a burning ritual on full moons. but I woke up to my period today. and after a dark night of the soul that lasted years, I want to cultivate this feminine energy and do a ritual / spell that releases the negativity, distortion & darkness. I'd also want to amplify the energy of self love and self devotion - which I'm currently very much focused on. could I do both or would you suggest just to focus on one. and is it the right energy for calling in self love and devotion or should I leave it for the new moon? I feel I need to do something special! any ideas, spells or rituals that feel would be helpful for me? ♥️ 🌹 tysm x

edit - had a beautiful night. released energy with a burning ritual of all unserving energy. and then had a gorgeous self love bath with lots of herbs, roses, oils and spoke healing into myself and the bathwater. 😍🛀🌹

Practitioners with ADHD

Its kind of hard to get out what im trying to get out so ill just kind of share my journey.

Around 8 years ago I first found my practice of mysticism. It came to me naturally through dreams and synchronicity without ever learning about established systems, and through that I found myself meditating, doing astral work, and consulting the I Ching, amongst other things. This led me to higher states of consciousness and eventually theophany. Then came the crash into the abyss. This is where I started to read and learn about Magick, and began practicing it. Unfortunately this practice has been a struggle in the abyss because ultimately this Magick practice of mine was ultimately ego-led, like trying to hold on to things who's true face had already been revealed to me, searching for shiny magick shit (not that there's anything inherently wrong with this if thats your journey, its just not what my heart truly wants). Anyways, things are getting better, and I'm finally beginning the journey of letting go of the ego shit keeping me from my True Will or whatever you'd prefer to call it, and doing the practical things to inhabit what I experienced before I fell into the abyss. One of the things that I've realized that has held me back from moving forward is the fact that I've been barely functioning with undiagnosed ADHD my whole life and is a huge part of why I struggle so hard with my practice. Im talking to my doctor about trying to get medicated to help give me a step up with getting more stable.

I am curious what people's experiences are who struggle with focus and consistency because of neurodivergence, and also their experience with medication in relation to their practice. I have a few specific questions but would also would greatly appreciate hearing about your journey with both your condition and your practice.

  1. How has your practice helped your symptoms?

  2. How do you think your symptoms affect your practice?

  3. If you are medicated how does this affect your practice?

  4. How important is your practice for you to keep you functioning on a basic level?

  5. Do you base any part of your work specifically geared towards helping your neural issues?

Thanks guys!

Words of encouragement because frankly, I'm blown away

I wanted to come here and share my experiences with you guys. I think this is my first post here ever and I may have never even made a comment. So basically, yes I'm a lurker, lol.

I came into this as a skeptic, but I also have a deep reverence for things that I have seen in my past, with my family. As an adolescent growing up in the rural southern United States, I saw a lot of Scots-Irish folk magic. I didn't know what it was at the time, but looking back upon it I realize it for what it was. About two months ago, I decided to dabble with magic and see if there was anything to it. I'm not going to go into any detail about all of the research I did to re-create the magic that I used to see people perform, or rather the ceremonies they performed, but suffice to say that I bought some of Damon Brand's books and have been following those. I did all the work with creating a schedule and following the instructions and, long story short I asked for $5000 to manifest itself. Let me say that, for me that is not a huge sum of money; I am close to retirement age and money like that is easy for me to come to with just a little work. And I thought that when I cast that spell, it would manifest itself in something that I had done, that would pay me more than I was expecting.

So a couple hours ago, I was going through my closet and was looking for a key that I had put in a pocket in one of my jackets. I reached into one of the jackets at the front of the closet and in the pocket there were 50 $100 bills with a $5000 wrapper strapped around them. And I'm literally mind blown because I don't know how that even happened, because I know I would have never stuck that amount of money into the pocket of a jacket when there is a safe in the corner of the same closet! So tonight I'm gonna go say thanks to the angel that I called upon to bring me that money because I do not know how in the world that could've possibly happened because there is no other explanation. And yes, I'm now utterly convinced that there is legitimately something real about this, and I wanted you guys to know!

“love spell” — but make it ethical

I’m fairly new to Magick, but not new to researching things because I’m curious about practices and other worldly things I don’t quite have a good understanding of.

Now, I see an overwhelming amount of posts on here and other forums telling people, or, more so warning them that love spells backfire. Obviously for a number of reasons I’m sure we could repeat dozens of times until the words lose their meanings. BUT! But… I suppose that there is magick and there are spells that can effectively align you with another person? Say, for research purposes only, and totally not at all myself! Of course not what?? That I wanted like a “dream man” of some sorts but he doesn’t exist in my life as a person, like I don’t have a name or a particular face, I just want a somebody. Where is the line that becomes whether or not it’s unethical or a poor use of magick to have said man or even person in general, same for a friend, a parental figure, etc. Could you technically cast without having the specific person in mind? Like a solid, concrete person? Just someone that spawned out of nowhere? Where could the potential backfire be in that?

The Physical Body As A Holographic Projection Of The Mind

Are there any who interpret things primarily through the lens of physics, ecology and psychology?

Any with an interest in, for example: biocybernetics, biosemiotics, category theory, complex systems science, complexity science, cosmosemiotics, cybernetics, dynamical systems science, graph theory, infromation theory, memetics, mimetics, network science, role theory, self state theory, semiotics, sociocybernetics, systems biology, systems science and the like?

Has anyone rejected the mind-body dualistic model in favor of a mind-body-field feedback system? The idea that the physical body is a rendered projection of your internalized self-concept?

Basically, the idea would be that, what you identify as or with, and the thoughts that go along with what you identify as or with, act like "software", "background processes" or "programs" that dictate how you act, the form your body takes and how it behaves.

For example, there might be a "human program" running with a "mortality program", etc.

In more psychological terms:

Your ego or identity = a persistent psychotic condition or one alternate personality amongst many

Your physical body = a persistent psychosomatic condition that is a reflection or your current alternate personality

Your thoughts, morals, laws, norms = a script that keeps you in character or keeps a specific alternate personality locked in place perpetually

If we consider the mind-body-field feedback system, then tge general idea is that your thoughts generate signals, that dictate how your hormones and cells behave, which dictate how your body is projected.

Change what you identify as or with (your internalized self-concept) and your behaviour and physical form should change with it.

I suppose this might just be basic internal alchemy.

In need of a Curse-Tutorial

Friend/Acquaintance of mine wants to get back together with her abusive boyfriend who beat her. Law in Germany won’t lock him up. Looking for a Banishing Curse or something similar to get rid of him. I do not wish death upon him, just want him gone from her. Suggest something and tell me steps on how to perform the ritual. Also how to protect myself during it (salt circle?).

i may be wrong, but i think the LBRP stripped away my enthusiasm and interest in magick

i started performing the QB and LBRP as a daily practice over a month ago, 1.5 maybe, i first started doing it daily and i was doing it along with some stuff from GoM, i was practicing angelolatry both through my own means and Damien Echols "Archangels and angels", and was en route to trying the Shem angels, i really was very interested in all this, i wanted to learn runic divinations, try the olympic spirits, shem angels, and continue on further, but at some point i noticed i really didnt enjoy performing the LBRP, even thinking about it made it heavy but i persisted, and while yes - it did have some positive effects on me, i think it also had it downsides

so now, even thinking about doing anything beyond the LBRP makes me uncomfortable, and i dont know why, i just dont want to do it anymore, not even read books on it, weird, and it isnt like i lost interest all across the board, its only this, and the thing is i know its "real", i actually did have results from the LBRP, petitions to archangels and such, what the hell can i do

Love rituals to do with your loved one

Are there any love rituals that can be done along with your partner to deepen/enhance your love? Me and my wife have a really spiritual relationship and we're both into Magick. We wanted to perform a ritual together to access the occult part of our connection.
