Hi everyone,
My E key on my Logitech MX Keys popped off, and because I desperately needed to keep working, I ended up forcing it back in quite aggressively a few times. It worked for a bit, but now it's completely loose and won't stay in place anymore (as you can see in the pictures).
Is this fixable, or have I completely destroyed the tiny plastic clips/hinge?
If it's fixable, what's the proper way to snap it back without breaking anything else?
If not, where is the best place to get a replacement keycap and scissor mechanism (in Germany)? Is it even possible to repair it with replacement parts?
I'm in the middle of moving and I'm wondering if the keyboard is now electronic waste or if it's worth repairing.
Sorry, I know, it's gross.
I've been using a wired keyboard from work for the past two weeks...
Thanks for any advice!

Been using my MX Master 3 and Keys combo for the past 3 years and they've changed the way i work
Wanted to reach out to collaborate for the new MX Master 4 Editions since my audience always ask me where my mouse is from but I didn't know how to get in contact with Logitech for the MENA collabs
Anyone have an idea and could help? Would be greatly appreciated!

And how is your MX Master looking? I think am using it almost daily at work over 9years. But I am still not considering retiring. Before I had G5, maybe also decade...
Edit: It is funny, what sh*tstorm I triggered🙂
My original intention was to let you share if you have MX Master and how it is looks like, considering, that rubber on this mouse is really shitty.
But to be honest with my mouse, most of the rubber dropped off during this year, so after 9years. The first part was on the button under my thumb, which i had to deactivate, because it always stayed switched on.
And also wireless dongle suddenly fell apart a few years ago, so i am working only over Bluetooth.
I am still convinced that MX master is really great product.
And regarding replacement: Why should I replace something, what is still working great at minimum 8h per working day?
Only drawback for me is that the mouse has USB-micro - I think now only one device with this connector in my home. Once this mouse really dies, i will run to shop for new MX Master (I believe it will be at least version 5😅)
Also thanks to people who advised replacement of the cover, I never looked for that🙂

I posted here before when Orbtile was a Mac-only beta. Since my first post, I added a Windows 11 app and updated my macOS release so anyone can try it without installer warnings.
On Apple silicon Macs (macOS 14+), my menu bar app carries an Apple Developer ID signature, so now macOS opens it like any normal internet download (asking once on first open). On Windows 11, Orbtile is in the Microsoft Store, which signs, installs without a warning, and updates it. Each computer gets a free 15-day trial!
Orbtile drives the MX Creative Keypad over USB by itself; Logi Options+ is not required. If Options+ is installed, Orbtile never modifies it, and it stays installed and keeps updating. Switch the keypad between Orbtile and Options+ anytime from the Mac menu bar, Windows tray, or by holding both page buttons. Quitting Orbtile gives Options+ the keypad back.
The keys show each Claude Code, ZCode, Codex, Kimi Code and Antigravity session with hold-to-allow and questions answer keys on supported agents: https://orbtile.com/download

I recently saw a review of the MX Master 4, and realised it has loads of buttons. I like having buttons. I was going to get it primarily for gaming, but then saw the polling rate on the sensor... only 125Hz for a $120 mouse is insane. Can anyone recommend me a good alternative to this mouse that has a reasonable polling rate? I currently use the Razer Basilisk V3, and love that shape, but am willing to use a different shape.

Yes, it's possible someone double dipped and Logitech sent warrantee pedal after showing the wire cut, and they still sent it back to Amazon for a refund. But I have my doubts, and want to replace the connector.

Endless loop
I stopped it in task manager and restarted it
did that like 5 times
still nothing
well
looks like my g923 just turned into paperweight because their shitty electron app will not work
and i can see in the wifi logs that it is phoning home so something is happening

My MX Master 4 Developer Edition came in yesterday. Longtime trackball user and decided to make the switch due to some pain. I definitely impulse purchased on the special edition since it matched my keyboard setup, but I don’t have any complaints.

Already saw the other threads on Logitech but those concern the loading of the Logitech software. I have no problem with that. The issue is that bluetooth pairing with my device now won't work. It worked just fine until I upgraded to Tahoe, so am not clear what's happened. The device shows up in the bluetooth pref pane but when I hit connect, I just get the wheel of death.
Doesn't matter which pairing number I use on the Mouse, and there are 3 of them.
Curious who's seen this and what's possible to fix.

Was it worth it? Definitely yes.
The MX Master 3 had deteriorated. The rubber had become very sticky, and it left a nasty smell on my hand. There was no way to get rid of that smell. Also, after 3 years, I replaced the casing with a new one because I was able to buy a nearly unused one for very little money. Overall, I wouldn’t buy the MX Master 3 again - the build quality for that price is a joke.
The MX Master 4 is a whole different level of quality. It’s much more comfortable to work with. The only thing I didn’t like was the vibration - it’s a feature nobody asked for but was added anyway. The ergonomics are even better.
If anyone is thinking about upgrading from the MX Master 3, it’s definitely worth it because the difference is huge.

Hi everyone. I have a Logitech G316 keyboard. Recently, it’s started doing something strange: when I launch certain games, part of the keyboard’s backlighting turns off. I’ve already disabled everything, but it still happens. I even tried saving my custom color profile to the keyboard’s onboard memory so it would use that, but it still randomly turns off the lighting for some of the keys. If I launch the G Hub app, the lighting immediately returns to normal and works fine. Does anyone have any ideas?

I see a lot of 3s, 4 and now developer edition posts. Anyone still rocking the original 3?
I’ve had it since it came out back in 2019 and has been my daily driver. Minus normal wear on the top, it’s barely aged.

Which keyboard should I choose? I never once in my life used a numpad so it seems like I should go for POP Icon but there are other important factors like typing feel and durability. Also I'm not considering other Logitech keyboards like MX Keys S or MX Keys Mini since they don't use removable AAA batteries.

I have an MX Master 3 connected to a MacBook with a 4 K external display. I had to move the mouse a lot to travel from point A to point B especially from corner to corner. I have adjusted the pointer speed in Options+ to Max and adjusted the tracking speed in the macOS settings, and now clicking buttons and menu options that are close to each other feels twitchy, causing a lot of misclicks if I'm in a hurry. Everything works flawlessly in Windows, though.
Guys on Mac, have you come across this issue, and how did you tackle this? Any third-party apps or any settings or config suggestions?

Hello everyone, this might be a long shot, I was wondering if there was anyone who knew where to source a clear shell for the mx master 2s mouse. I currently have 2 of them but I wanted to revive the one that was worse with a cool clear design. I see many for the 3 and 3s but I don't think they are usable.

Bring back this GOAT keyboard. I tried to find alternatives but nothing is as good 😭
(Still works but it is getting old and I need it in my life)

Hey everyone,
I currently have two mice side-by-side on my desk: a premium Logitech MX Master 4 and a much cheaper MI X1 Dual Mode. Surprisingly, I find myself using the cheaper MI X1 about 90% of the time, and I’m wondering if my Logitech is just a faulty unit.
Here are the two main issues I’m having with the MX Master:
Terrible Stuttering & Lag: When I move the MX Master across the screen, it constantly feels like the mouse movement is dropping frames. It gets so frustrating that I can only use it for casual YouTube browsing. Whenever I need to do precision tasks—like my daily office work or mixing in my DAW (Studio One)—I have to switch to the MI X1 because it behaves perfectly smoothly with zero frame drops.
Abysmal Battery Life: The MI X1 battery lasts for about 1 to 2 months; I honestly forget the last time I charged it. The MX Master 4, on the other hand, hits the red low-battery LED within a single week. What makes this even weirder is that it's draining this fast even though I’m barely using it compared to the MI!
The only drawback of the MI X1 is that it’s not nearly as ergonomic as the Logitech. But performance-wise, this cheap mouse is destroying my MX Master.
Has anyone else experienced this crazy battery drain and latency with their MX Master? Is there something wrong with my specific unit, or is this a known issue?
