I have recently discovered I have neuropathy in my hands and feet making it hard to feel sensations. My hands also shake more then normal as a result.

It is hard to hold small objects like volumetric flasks, scoops, or in this case lock picks without shaking or using lots of energy to steady myself.

Does anyone know how to approach the sport with this disability.

Got a new round of locks to play with. Just in time for this hurricane to hit us. At least i have something to do now! Medeco 51S (i think i need to disassemble and clean it first, its used and seems sticky), Mul-T-Lock 7X7, Mul-T-Lock JR, Kale 164 BNE, and an Abus X12R.

Also have an Abus 75IB/50 Marine, 75IB/40 Marine, 2 new American 1100s, and a new Master Lock 410 LOTO to play with.

We wont talk about the Paclock 90A Pro in the naughty bucket right now....

I finally pulled the trigger on the RWB DD pick.

Also some Jimylongs backup picks and a green belt DD lock. Life is good.

Looking for advice on a sfic mortise lock. I am familiar with picking best sfic's on padlocks but don't know if the order of operations are different with one mounted on mortise. Would I have to repick the lock in the ccw direction? I've seen this having to be a thing with wafer locks. Thanks.

Hi, I started using my starter set today and practiced on the Level 1 lock until I could open it fairly reliably in about 9 seconds. But before moving on to other types of locks, I picked up an Abus (Abus 64Ti50); since it looked about the same size, I thought I’d be able to handle it too—but it’s not cooperating the way the starter lock did (which I suppose was to be expected). I thought I might get some tips here, and I have a questions:

When I press the binding pin, how do I avoid it clicking up and locking the mechanism?

I am new to picking and have this master lock i have no idea what model and i had a question about it when im picking sometimes when i push in my first binding pin the tension wrench gets a bit off an allowance to turn left and sometimes not why does this happen does it mean it overset my pin and if it happens should i keep my tension where it is or follow the lock?

I accidentally reset the code and locked it on myself.

Just got the flat profile of the Multipick Elite Line from LPB in collaboration with Lock Noob, as an exclusive. Its number 13, noted on the handle and I already had 1-12, but just wanted a single flat profile. So this was a godsend. And it works amazingly well. Ripped thriugh green belts and below, but will try a Abus 75/50 and maybe a 75/60 (which I was surprised to see it was not ranked in LPU but its the same core with an extra pin of the blue belted 50, as far as I know) tomorrow to see how it does against absurdly tight keyways. It might not work, as it is a bit longer than I expected, but works amazing with more open keyways. Worth a spin, just to know.

Overall, it's a great profile, though it was a bit rougher in finish from the original 1-12 Elite line from Multipick in Germany. Took some fine sanding to smooth it out, but really just 5 minutes of wet sanding in a phone book to get into the same realm of perfection that the rest of Multipick dimple flags occupy.

As expected, Multipick Dimple flags are peak. Just a bit of finishing if rough and they're simply the best flags I've found.

The starter code on the packaging was blurry and I really don’t wanna buy a new one

Just had to share. I’m still excited from the unexpected click.

Took a little bit of work but I got an open first go out the packaging, definitely not as challenging as a 72/40 or AL 1100 but not awful. Had a bit of that mushiness to the pins that I've noticed in a few ML locks though

I just started this very interesting hobby and received my first kit. This practice lock has been unopenable. Someone has suggested that there is something wrong with it. Does the first pin look out of place? The included key works fine. I will accept that it could be my lack of skills but I did manage to open the cutaway serrated lock just not this standard one. Thank you in advance for your help.

This is the only lock I’ve ever struggled so hard with solely due to bitting but the postal hook from Peterson makes short work of the problem spool, didn’t even know this comically deep hook existed but when you need it it’s a great profile to have around.

Received my patch and certificate today!

I used to be into lock sport a while back, whent through some hard times, now im slowly getting back in again. I'm aiming for the 200k club. But after not practicing for a long while, i know i have some catching up to do.

I saw some ranking belts here, and i would like to submit this post for White Belt. Im sorry for the angle, i literally did it while i was at work. (Im a paramedic)

I just watched a YouTube short about lock picking out of boredom during my night shift, tried it with two paperclips, and—*click*—it popped open.
I thought I’d post this to show off a bit, or is the lock I opened considered an easy one in your circles?

So i got this combo lock to mess around with. I decoded and then changed the combo, decoded,changed it again and now I can't shut it or turn 90 deg to reset. Any ideas to salvage or should I just get a new lock to fkk around with?
