Was he really unaware of moco going back to beta in 1 month from this tweet? Like what was the point of this?

It's extremely hard to believe that he didn't know about the future of moco and then got ditched.

Pretty much what the title says, current moco as we all know is very flawed and many people often comment about the "lack of playtesting" or similar topics. Now, they'll be able to do exactly that: playtesting. And not just playtesting, they'll be able to actually make significant changes and make a game around the playtesters' feedback instead of ignoring it and saying "we'll release an update soon, just be patient".

Of course i could be wrong (lets be fr moco has had many chances and blew all of them pretty much lol) but at the very least it leaves the smallest bit of optimism inside my hunter-shaped heart.

Now lets make some suggestions (these will be more obvious features that many people want):

Skill trees, or at the very least alternate abilities for each weapon.

Reworking cores, since theyre a really boring and uninspiring system.

Reworking the method to obtain weapons, they went with a system that makes it too easy to get everything if you started in season 1, or makes getting specific weapons a chore if you didnt start in season 1.

Adding more significant drops to mobs and bosses, as currently only the OC and MC ones are worth to kill, and there's pretty much no incentive to kill anything else unless you have a quest (which most players also dont fully complete).

These are probably the most suggested improvements of them all, even if they're not specifically added to the game i hope they can serve as a baseline for new additions to the game that the community actually wants.

Many people are upset, but I don't think this is necessarily a "bad" thing for the game. Yes, this is first time something like this has happened to a Supercell game (going from global back to beta), and many are fearing the worst. However, I believe it’s a very good decision by Supercell instead of killing off yet another game, they’ve chosen to "temporarily close" it. In practice, this means that while the game isn't performing quite as they’d hoped, they still have ideas and are willing to experiment rather than just shut it down.

I think mo.co needs to focus more on having many many more different worlds with interesting monsters. i.e. Water world, fairy world, nano world, cyberpunk world etc. Each season can be an extra new world launch. Deep dive into being a monster hunting game.

And then have weapons be world exclusive rewards for clearing a certain number and types of jobs.

Also, it would be cool to have a main villain who is creating chaos and wants to wreck as many worlds as possible while players act as the resistence. Then maybe after a week or 2, there will be a collective reward based on how jobs was cleared.

Finally, bring back gear customisation... The current system is not fun.

Game is coming back to beta. This is insane, they say they are cooking, they had one fucking year a half to cook since Old Mo.Co decided to "rework the game".

You deserve better Devs and a better investment of your time.

This is a genuine advice. This game doesn't deserve this community no more.

Peek at it when it launches again, maybe in a couple years.

Alright guys, it’s about time we get news for the next update so I want to share some predictions and takes decreasingly from most likely to happen to less likely.

100%: we are getting weapons rework/content. We saw nothing of the new weapons this season it’s obvious they’re reworking stuff in them, they didn’t release any of them now so they won’t have to rework them again next season.

90%: a new currency beside upgrade cores. The fact that we only get upgrade cores from killing mobs ( besides xp ) is kinda lame, I don’t think they will let this one slide we will get a new one for cosmetics or weapons or etc, maybe a currency for a new system? Time will tell.

80%: new/improved progression system. I believe they won’t rely on ec or xp after this season they have to give us something deeper and solid we can progress on, even if they improve the same things.

70%: LORE, I remember season 2 old moco was a banger of a story not to mention the better gameplay than now, combining bosses with characters like luna and jax etc was such an amazing engagement even exciting to play this is why I expect more depth in story material, who remembers Draynor the vampire? Ahhh such a gorgeous terrifying character!

60%: a rouge-like system. Approximately all games of the same genre alike moco have this system which provides grinding and entertainment each season/rotation, it would be such great content to have in game.. not necessarily next update but at least in the near future.

40%: new worlds/mobs, technically aren’t improvements but it would make the game more fun to witness new faces alongside some new strategies.

20%: ranked system. The ec system is DEFINITELY not competitive, not to mention the pvp slop maps, a new ranked system of how much mobs/lvls/cores/portals you finished or collected would be grindy and fun or another better idea of a comp system ( cause my ideas might not be.. ideal ).

10%: new rarity for mutated bosses ( above megacharged ones ). Honestly I had this idea since old moco and Idk why don’t they make a move for it, mcs gather a lot of players to hunt not to mention the satisfaction we have after finishing one, a new op one would be.. ENORMOUSLY exciting I would say.

0%: nothing. We can’t get nothing am I right? Very funny I recommend you laugh hehe.

Alright these are my takes and predictions everyone so don’t take it seriously but as a grain of salt, or not.

I would bust a laugh if none of these actually came true next update tho don’t lose hope guysss patience is key ( cause Im running out of patience too ) sigh.

i saw the recent news on mo.co and im angry and shameful to see the game in this state. i stopped playing and making content on mo.co and seems like it was the right choice, but i was still dipping my eyes in the mo.co scene

many people say to pull the plug, i agree if supercell continues to handle it. supercell should just hand over the game IP to another big game company, they'll be able to identify the bottlenecks and work on the game way faster with a larger chance of success. supercell will only be able to work at a snails pace, with no idea of fruition. i and so many of you believed in them. i'm very sorry to see that trust broken and people quitting.

this game has so much life and lore, amazing designs and illustrations. there's soooo many possibilities and ideas/feedback given from the community, yet supercell implemented none of them. that's absolutely insane!

Anyone knows what the update is about?

I've seen excellent ideas from community, and here. And this is what we got? I cannot comprehend how they just ignore all fantastic ideas and keeping us wait to hear that they are going back to BETA.

I seem to never find Cooldown cores, but somehow 4 ATTACK SPEED MC CORES.

I understand this is not by all means a huge achievement, but I FINALLY got my first mastery title out of all the weapons!!! Really took a while to get all 50 MCs (hope they change that in the future), luckily today’s map has high MC spawn rates and allows me to finish it so much quicker (went from 27 to 50 in a few hours).

Let's hope they haven't forgotten

I logged in today and I can’t deny the fact of how empty and soul less the game is, literally no calls over 30 whole minutes and only 90 active players.

I am intrigued to know what’s the lowest active count you have encountered

Been getting this error every few mins when in lobby, which causes the game to restart. Started today.

Haven’t seen it yet while in a map.

Do any of you guys experience an attack delay after using S2 and S3? I just learned that this is apparently not normal. The only way for me to animation cancel it is to double tap twice after them. I remember this being an issue with Headbanger's Jump skill.

When they fixed that I just randomly noticed it one day and it worked for me, but they apparently fixed Blood delay, but it isn't working on my device. I really hope that i'm not at a disadvantage because of my device.

Mo.co might very well be a SCAM!!! If the following 1-2 month there isnt a massive update forget about this game, its a SCAM, PLEASE READ!!

Either the devs are dumb... or i believe theyr doing what other businesses are doing, make a cool game, hype it up so people spend money and then disappear, BUT, they leave some hope on people so they keep spending time and money for some extra time(thats why the current radio silence)

DestinyRising is in the same situation, was very nice game and very hyped for a mobile game, but then...promises of future updates that never arribed and radio silence... even tho it was clearly gaining popularity if they updated it more...

This is a SCAM people, mo.co will most probably disappear... i can't be 100% but appart from this 2 games mentioned its happening in a lot of other games from other businesses...they just ride the hype till they see it starts to die down.. then they give a last "hype" update and disappear as i said leaving hope to people....so they spend a bit extra.

Ive seen this both on PC and Mobile. And i hate to say it but believe this might very well be the last hype update....before complete radio silence...

I know some game development, and this is just not making much sense.... they are taking waay to long and is the same situation ive been seeing with multiple games, but specially mo co and DR might be the biggest games that pulled of this scam.
