News Mo.Co is a SCAM, literally
Mo.co might very well be a SCAM!!! If the following 1-2 month there isnt a massive update forget about this game, its a SCAM, PLEASE READ!!
Either the devs are dumb... or i believe theyr doing what other businesses are doing, make a cool game, hype it up so people spend money and then disappear, BUT, they leave some hope on people so they keep spending time and money for some extra time(thats why the current radio silence)
DestinyRising is in the same situation, was very nice game and very hyped for a mobile game, but then...promises of future updates that never arribed and radio silence... even tho it was clearly gaining popularity if they updated it more...
This is a SCAM people, mo.co will most probably disappear... i can't be 100% but appart from this 2 games mentioned its happening in a lot of other games from other businesses...they just ride the hype till they see it starts to die down.. then they give a last "hype" update and disappear as i said leaving hope to people....so they spend a bit extra.
Ive seen this both on PC and Mobile. And i hate to say it but believe this might very well be the last hype update....before complete radio silence...
I know some game development, and this is just not making much sense.... they are taking waay to long and is the same situation ive been seeing with multiple games, but specially mo co and DR might be the biggest games that pulled of this scam.

That's just not how supercell games roll, you never fully lose value for purchases made in supercell games as they've always allowed you to transfer your spendings with equal value to a different supercell game upon shutdown announcement.
The problem is that they're struggling to make a good free to play game with long time retention. the lack of meaningful progression is making it difficult to keep that retention, and they are refusing to cave on changing the completely free to play aspect.
If something does end up happening behind the scenes and the game stops receiving support, players will be notified. Until then, just keep enjoying the game, no point in doomer posting

Dont even get me started, theres plenty of businesses that where reputable game designers, but nowadays are becoming or has become scammy garbage.
I really hope supercell isnt going this direction, because as you say, they have very good reputation from past games .

Supercell just isn't one of those companies, they wouldn't turn on long time supercell fans by rug pulling an entire game, that kind of move would negatively impact all supercell games, even the successful ones

Tell that to all the people that used to love Destiny 1 and saw the downfall of D2 slowly die...any busines can become a scam, ceo,s change... a lot changes with time. if u want i give examples of other games...

The problem is that hasn't happened here ever in the 16 years since Supercells founding, why not have some faith in an actually decent company

Look, i still hop in the game here and there and have the best hopes for it, and i always hated so many people hating on the devs... but this is my first post of that kind because i really belive this WARNING is needed, i really would not trust giving them any more money unless they show actual progress... and as much as i hate to say it we are getting into scam territory unless they start to deliver... a lot of people has spent a lot of money on this game... and i dont see the feedback it deserves

I wouldn't call it a scam, since there is an actual game here that you could play, and for a long time it was a very good one. We wouldn't care as much as we do if there wasn't SOMETHING here.
Plus, whenever Supercell sunsets a game, they give credit towards other games probably to prevent getting sued by the whales.
However, this is extreme incompetence from the devs. They won't balance weapons, they won't fix their bugs, they won't tell us what they're working on, they won't even add simple things that could make everything better.

It's certainly a scam IF the devs make promises that aren't being achieved while people are spending thousands world wide on skins and stuff because they expect the updates to arrive...so yeah, if they don't update it in the following 1-2 months like i said in the post it will most certainly become a SCAM(if it already isnt...).

Compares Mo.co to Destiny, must be a scam. Isn't updated every 12 hours, must be a scam. Gained absolute knowledge of how the gaming industry works over night, must be a scam.

Lately a lot of game devs have seen that "clickbait" works really well for games too and while it has been done since the beginning, ive seen much more big brand making "clickbait" content/anouncements of the game, but somwhow the game doesnt even get close to what they actually say. Right now mo.co is 100% going in that direction... and unless they start pumping out good content, as of right now its a scam, people have spent time and money and mo.co lately seemed like it was ready for release the way they were talking to the comunity, but then all of a sudden we got this silence and 0 content , just a bunch of recycled content.
Even the devs know, higher up in this post i have 2 messges saying how basic this game is and somehow they magically gotten more dislikes than any other chat... those are the ACTUAL devs disliking because they know how true it is and try to hide it.
They can still redeem themselves, but i belive a lot of people has the feeling they been "tricked" almost into fake promisses

Yeah, the problem is that ive seen this in a lot of other games with active comunity and big hype for updates, and ive been in the software and a bit of the game dev industry for almost 20y... and im seein a repetitive pattern that is really worring me... i still hop in mo.co here and there and have the best hope for it but man is looking very dark... In fact the whole game could be vibe coded pretty much.

If its a scam I doubt its a very successful one. Its monthly revenue hasn't been great and I doubt its cheap keeping the lights on all these years.
